Pros

Modern template. Also it pushes to quick books online. I like that you can setup multiple options for estimates and attach them all in one pdf. Customer service is easy to get ahold of.

Cons

I wish the price was less expensive since if you integrate with QBO you have to pay for that separate. It all starts adding up. Another concern is when send estimates through the program you cannot edit subject line without having to add another service line that say what you want the subject line to be... its very annoying. Also there is a template for the email which is nice but I wish you could create your own template without having to cut and paste.

Pros

It was a great benefit going from "file cards" to this system for customers! I like the ability to print reports and have a customer history!

Cons

I'm sure I don't use all the benefits of House Call...just busy one-person office. I wish I had more time to explore!

HCP is the best software for a great price to help our continued growth and success.

Pros

Best Investment for running an HVAC - Plumbing business. They have the latest & greatest digital technology for better communication with our customers and to simplify the scheduling process. In just 3 short weeks my field techs and I are successfully using HCP on a daily basis and our customers are loving the SMS text messages for notifications for their appointments. Our sales, new customers and reviews have increased. Easy setup & HCP integrates with QBO. If I have any questions or issues I simply send a message to the Chat team and within a few moments they respond and they are solved fast & efficiently.

Cons

SO far the only item that is not very accurate is the maps for tracking our employees.

The all in one on the go services

Pros

The love the fact its a cloud based program that has all the features i need all in one like scheduling, dispatching, automatic invoicing, customer notification text and more

Honestly nothing well maybe i would say it could use a little more color or animation to make it pop

SOOOO MANY! TIME SAVINGS, REPORTING, YOU NAME IT!

Pros

I like the ease of scheduling jobs; the quick and easy way to create estimates AND then turn them into jobs on the calendar with just a couple clicks. It is truly amazing. The "on our way" and "finished" notifications reflect very professionally to our customers (they have told us so). Certainly one of the greatest feature of HCP has been their customer service, no doubt.

Cons

I would like to see daily and weekly totals on the scheduling screen. This would allow us to see where we are relative to our daily/weekly goals.

The ease of scheduling wherever I am. Whether I'm in the office or not, I can take care of most things for my technicians and owner ie; scheduling, entering new customers, texting our customers. I also like that our customers are notified of

Cons

The limitations on the phone app for converting a job to an estimate and not having the ability to cancel appointments in the field, the only function is to unschedule an appointment.

The community that HCP has built around their software is one of the best things about HCP. I attended a MasterMind in Atlanta with HCP and it was just energizing. They also have an active Facebook group and Whiteboard Wednesdays where they share in depth on a particular topic or new innovation.

Pros

This is the first estimating software that I've used and I like the fact that it cuts my estimating time in half. Having the Zillow information available tells me a lot about the customer that I am going to do the estimate for, ensuring they are my target customer.

Cons

I would like the ability to create line items within a section that can be calculated at different rates. For instance, we do plaster repair. In any one room we have the actual repair, which can involve several operations, and the priming/painting. Having the ability to do line item estimating for that one room, using different rates, which add up to a total for that one room, would be nice because it shows the customer exactly what they are paying for. At the moment, all operations are described, but there is only one rate for that section, so I have to do a blended rate to cover everything that must be done. It works, but it would be nice if the customer could better grasp how we arrived at that number.

Pros

The ability to clock-in remotely and the customer communication. The different ways I can receive payment.

Cons

I do not like that you cannot preselect good,better,best options.

Very happy with it so far.

Pros

It’s work to get everything entered but once your do, it’s all just clicking buttons to progress it from estimate, to work order, to billing, to review collections.

Cons

Still some bugs here and there. Some other small detail features would be nice.

The help bubble and the people on it are incredible. They always have answers and if not, they will find them. They listen to my requests and many times state they are working on adding a function. Very cool. I love this program.

Pros

I like how everything is integrated between scheduling, text communication with customers and accounting.

Cons

I wish there was an easier way to do payroll when employees are paid solely commission.

This application has helped me remove a lot of clutter from my desk, and have organized tasks efficiently using it.

Pros

For a small business, I found it easy to schedule all my meetings, invoices, tasks and so much more on my phone app. The application allows a smooth running of the business as it makes it so easy to put together tasks, and things like GPS coordinates for the trucking industry. Besides it being a super app, it also works both on the phone app and is cloud-based too. This offers great accessibility regardless of where one is.

Cons

This is a great application indeed, however, it will be great if they also make a desktop application that is not web-based.

Easy to use, full featured and the tech's love it. If you need an app the sends customers notifications and keeps track of previous work done and gives your tech's the information they need in the field, this is it!

Cons

No phone support. That's it, everything else is great. I enjoy the program.

The coolest thing Housecall Pro has done is provided encouragement for tipping. People are more prone to tip when a tip line is included. My employees make a lot more money now. Also, I have little turnover anymore. Employees have access to notes, photos, client info, etc. If there is an issue they can try to contact them without bothering me. Clients love the "on the way" notifications too. It saves me time with invoicing as well due to the batch invoicing options. I know I haven't even used the complete power of Housecall Pro and look forward to utilizing it.

Pros

Scheduling and customer experience. When I do estimates now, clients see the value in hiring a high tech company vs. and individual.

Cons

Tech glitches--it happens but is always a frustration.

Cons

Although there are alternatives, such as using the iPhone only app or for a Admins, logging into the desktop there is not iPad specific app for field technicians.

They have ALWAYS been responsive and on problems immediately. Couldn’t be more pleased with this company.

Pros

Very easy to use and QuickBooks Online friendly. Everything is posted instantly and changeable. No dealing with the pain of “posting batches.”

Cons

Expansion of capabilities and permissions would be nice. Like desktop access to technician without giving them full access to schedule/dashboard.

Central functionality of multiple services.

Pros

1\. I love the fact that I can keep everything in one place. I can dispatch, bill, manage my entire team from one central location, which is very helpful since I am usually traveling. 2. The customer service is (literally) the best I've ever dealt with. 3. The user experience is really nice and friendly for anybody and it keeps getting better with each version of the software.

Cons

A few features I would add... 1. Store Credit Card information so my clients don't have to re-enter it every time they make a purchase 2. Allow selectable time zones for each job for national service providers 3. The mobile app needs the flexibility that the website currently provides.

Efficiency in scheduling and managing my workflow of multiple simultaneous crews operating in different states. Easy navigation to the jobsite through Google Maps. Tight and simple integration with Google Calendar and QuickBooks Online.

Pros

Customer support. The chat line is amazing, almost always a good answer within a few minutes. Feature requests are added and often realized in the frequent upgrades.

Cons

Lack of ability to directly bring in lead information from my Pay-per-Click provider requiring me to manually cut and paste name, address, phone, etc into HouseCall Pro.
