Great, I am able to estimate, process and manage jobs remotely and accurately.

Pros

Seamless integration with QuickBooks Online.

Inability to Change a customer name on any estimate or job.

Reason for choosing Housecall Pro

The Service Titan sales representative was unwilling to work with my roll out schedule (e.g. got upset when I asked to wait one more month to commit to Service Titan). I was introduced to Service Titan @ the Service World Exposition in October, 2018 prior to visiting Watsco Headquarters later that month. I take Holiday in November and planned to make a directional decision in December. The Service Titan sales representative was pushing for a sale in November (after their initial product roll out call) and was not friendly when I mentioned I was comparing their software to HCP. On the Contrary HCP's product roll out and subsequent sales person (when told I was comparing them to Service Titan) said "No Problem if you like we can call you back in a week or so or if you'd rather just call us back that's OK too we don't want to pressure you". I'm very happy I went with HCP...in speaking with other contractors from the North East who have implemented Service Titan they are not at the point where we are (full remote business operation as long as I have a device and connectivity).

### "Life Saving Software"

I have been able to save hundreds of hours this year just by using Housecall Pro by not having to handwrite 100+ invoices every week, track who has/has not paid, and countless other things. One of the best things Housecall Pro has been able to provide me for my business is a next level professional look which words cannot describe how beneficial this is. I HIGHLY recommend Housecall Pro to any small business and even a large established business

\- Electronic quotes/estimates, invoicing, scheduling, payments - Tracks just about everything I can think of such as win/loss ratio of jobs, gross income, etc - Great customer service in regards to answering any questions you may have - Provide a very-well & in-depth tutorial of software when first purchased - Always take into consideration any input i provide and new options to implement in their software - Much much more that I can not list

Cons

\- They do not have everything I could ask for such as an email blast (but can integrate with one of the best email marketing services available) - No route-planning - No automated invoicing via phone (only email which most people do not check regularly) - Ive had a handful of other minor issues I've encountered while using this software but a support team member has almost always found an alternative solution for me

Reason for choosing Housecall Pro

Very aggressive sales people (but not overly aggressive that is scares you away) that are determined to sell and serve you to the best of their ability because they know this software WILL make a huge impact. VERY kind and generous sales associate wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied and understood what I was purchasing before the actual purchase

It isn't awful and it isn't great. It is a good starting point, but can improve with more options and functionality.

Pros

It is affordable. It has an easy to understand user interface. You can reach customer service via email quickly.

Cons

It doesn't have easy customizable options. It has restrained perimeters regarding entries and invoicing.

### "overall great product needs some bugs worked out"

Pros

Easy to use, I like that everything for invoicing, billing and messaging are all manageable from one place. I also like being able to manage employees with it.

Cons

needs some of the message notifications fixed and invoices don't always save from when one user goes out of invoice and another user gets into invoice.

### "Manages everything on fingers"

Pros

Housecall Pro organised everything easily. It scheduled multiple meetings and calls, perfectly generates invoices and best support in billing and pricing. Customer support solves every query it is an important factor. In it, someone is always available for help.

Cons

Housecall Pro has no major downfall in it. If go through it in deep so mobile bugs collect my interest in it. but if ignore only that thing so it was the bucket of the facility which is easily understood by my staff members.

### "House Call Pro Review"

I truly enjoy this software and its made a HUGE difference for my business and the perception it creates for my customers. I like having the quick online person to help with questions. I would prefer that when I get online that I can have someone call me right back if its a priority situation.

Pros

Speed. Ease of use. Intuitive. I like how quickly you can add new customers, addresses, etc.

Cons

There needs to be a better format to bring all my new customers/new estimates into a grouped area or bucket so they can be highlighted and easily pulled to the top. I have to date everything and tag everything on new estimates or even approved estimates for it to be at the top of the dashboard/estimated page for me to see them all and review, and its time consuming and confusing. I need to be able to see all my new customers and or newly approved estimates, and be able to say, "OK here's all this weeks new customers. Here is all newly approved estimates. Here is all scheduled estimates, etc." Make sense? Yes you can format some of these things in the current dashboard but its frustrating if I need a quick "TO DO" list or "PRIORITY" list of clients. They get lost in a sea of past estimates mixed with current estimates. It would help to have separate customer tab for that. Simplicity is the key here..

### "It Does What We Need"

Our main purpose in trying HCP was to find a way that our field crews could easily take photos of each job and share them with the office. In the past each crew had been texting me photos all day long and it was my responsibility to then email them to myself and save them on the company server. That got old after about 4 hours. I saw that HCP would allow our crews to take photos with their phones, and they would instantly and easily be available through the web portal at our office, or anywhere else - desktop or mobile. At the time, the basic plan was free, so it was a no-brainer for me. I love that you can keep track of and view customer history and put notes about each customer, each job, and each visit to a customer's home. We haven't fully utilized this function yet, but it would be incredibly helpful. The main part of my job is scheduling installations and planning routes for multiple crews each day. HCP does have a map feature that allows you to view all of your jobs, but the down side (for me, anyway) is that it shows you ALL of your jobs, past and present. I would love to see the ability to filter the jobs on the map to show just one day or a range of days to help in planning efficient routes. The lack of this feature forces me to use Google Maps in addition to HCP. I don't mind so much, but when a representative was trying to "sell me" on using HCP for all of our business needs, he was pretty adamant that it was an all-in-one program.

Pros

Easy to access from anywhere and easy to share information with team members.

Cons

It would be great if it made it easier to plan daily routes for drivers/crews. For example, being able to filter jobs on the map view by a certain day or range of days. Unfortunately, I had to use Google Maps in addition to HCP to accomplish this.

Almost Flawless. Everything works so well!

Pros

It is so simple to use. it took me 2-3 days to learn all of the ins and outs of it.

Cons

The only complaint i ever had was that i had to make multiple different estimates for one customer and i had to send them individually. But now there are option tabs to create multiple estimates and send them all at once to a customer. So my complaint was fixed before i made a complaint lol.

We can easily and effectively communicate with customers. Our review rates have drastically increased and our customers rave about the “on my way” text the receive from the system. HCP takes the important customer service tasks and makes them simple and easy so we can focus our efforts on other things.

Pros

HCP has taken our business to the next level. We’re in the home services industry and having an edge on customer service is vital. The system was designed with Home Service Professionals in mind. We love how user friendly the system is and our customers love the communication. The LIVE chat with a HCP Support Member is so helpful and quick. I would highly recommend HCP to anyone who wants to grow their business and take it to the next level.

Cons

I’m on the go often and primarily use the mobile app on my iPhone. It would be handy to see which technicians are scheduled for a job without having to open the job to see (like you can in the PC version)

The HCP Sales Rep was very attentive to why we were looking for and set up a quick virtual demo for us. We were able to see the system and he addressed our wants and desires for a scheduling system. Hook, line, and sinker was that we could have the reminder texts/all system texts to the customer come from a local area code. That was very important to us.

Like I said, I know nothing else so I consider myself spoiled. When I bring new techs on they are amazed of the functionality and ability to see pictures of the job they are going to. As the owner I could not imagine not having a platform such as this to help my business grow.

Pros

I found HCP at the start of my business so I know nothing else. I will say having ran other companies HCP would have been really nice to implement. HCP helps keep me organized and onto of the daily requirements needed to run a business.

Cons

Sometimes the software glitches out and it can get frustrating. Taking pictures from the app takes a long time to download which is frustrating. I oftentimes take pictures on my camera and upload them to the file.

When I found HCP I didn't really know what I was getting into but like I said, I would not be as successful without HCP.

I used this in our company for our HVAC service and repair calls from customers and I liked the in-build tools and various options under one platform. Don't have to make multiple calls to receive, schedule, and dispatch for ONE service.

Pros

This is best suited to very small to medium to large companies that provide HVAC repairs/services to customers. It has all the tools you need to Schedule, assign, dispatch, and notify customers among others.

Cons

The accounting module takes some get used to and to setup the initial data in the software can be made easier.

Great support both technically and from a corporate level with live events they add value as a user of the product and as a business manager/owner. Tremendous commitment to support the “pros” that make up their customer base

Pros

Ease of use, but full featured, strong mobile app as well as desktop. Integration with Quickbooks online version Also google maps integration and GPS. Online book from our website directly to the software works well.

Cons

Lack of ability to have tech to accept the jobs through the app since we work with independent contractors who can refuse jobs they don’t want. Also there does not seem to be a way for customers to choose the crew they want when booking online

Housecall Pro was so easy to setup and has been a breeze to use ever since. I've has a wonderful experience with the program and don't feel the need to seek further programming. Housecall was definitely the right choice for our company.

Pros

The best thing about this program is the simplicity. It takes no time to figure out how to learn something new with this program. The customer support is great to work with and can figure most things out rather quickly. It's is so nice having such a great program with all the essentials built in one.

Cons

There isn't much to not like. The program is always updating features. They always takes suggestions, which is nice. If you'd like to see something, it's usually there within a few months.

The biggest problem I was having was Scheduling. Now I can see all of my techs and easily layout or adjust the schedule.

Pros

the most impactful has been the scheduling & invoicing features

Cons

The feature that I feel needs the most work is being able to schedule multiple dates to one job without having to create a segment. Or make it so all segments can be billed together on one invoice. I'm finding items on separate segments don't get invoiced if the the job is already marked as finished.

### "Plumbing Dispatch Friendly"

Pros

I no longer have to fill out work orders or contantly update customers with arrival times and scheduling. The app does it for us! It's saved me a lot of time so I can focus on other aspects of our business and has pleased our customers greatly! It's showing from the increase of reviews! The ability to link to Google and QBO are two of the best features as well as the time I save on the phone with customers playing call tag, etc. In plumbing, we are able to edit the blocks of time for unexpected repairs that come up and prevent overbooking and add segments for ongoing WIP jobs. HCP has made my work streamlined from the start!

Cons

There are a few features I wish that are available but that doesn't mean they won't be in the near future with their hard working support team. A subtotal line is desperately needed. I wish I got emails when my customers do so I can quickly reference what and when I sent it. Segment options for estimates would be nice since at this point you can only select one of multiple estimates. A drop down list of customers when searching for one would save me some time. Some customers have difficult spelling of names so to be able to type the first and second letter and have it bring up the customer list would be a huge help without having to press enter.

Pros

I don't know where to start. It's very easy to use. It makes scheduling, estimates and service calls so much faster. You can save equipment information to a customer's profile. Huge time saver!

Cons

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Best software on the market.

I've used Service Titan in the past. I felt like ST is overpriced. HCP is much more affordable, does the same job and gets better all the time!

Probably the worst most complex decisions I've made with my business. Its easier to work with a government agency then it has been working with Housecall.

Pros

Nothing the whole experiences has been horrible. I was promised so much and got so little.

Cons

After all this mess I should have just stayed with Quickbooks. Now I'm stuck with housecall.

Pros

Scheduling and invoicing jobs, automatic text reminders to employees and customers about upcoming work, email and postcard follow up with customers, Online booking for website and FB pages, invoice tracking, earnings tracking, etc, etc, etc, all kinds of tracking. HouseCall Pro customer service is fantastic. Ease of use. There's almost zero learning curve. You just dive right in and start using it! And if you can't figure out something, help is generally only seconds away, at the most a few minutes. And they speak real English, not Geekspeak! They have a great Facebook group. I've learned so much about business tips and strategies from other members all over the country it's unbelievable. It's like I've been introduced to a whole group of people who share the same struggles in operating a business and everybody on the group helps everybody else. HouseCall Pro is always adding more improvements and integrations with other services. The people at HouseCall Pro listen to their members and are constantly making it better and better. I own a plumbing business and have invested in hundreds of great tools for doing my work, but I'd have to say HouseCall Pro is the best tool I've ever invested in. For the first time, I'm in control of and working on my business. It no longer controls me. I've added one new truck and service tech this year and looking at an additional cost at least, in receipts this year. Couldn't have done it without HouseCall Pro.

Pros

I like the simplicity the most. The functions are straight forward and it took barely any effort to train my office staff.

Cons

I wish that I could see the email chain of invoices in my email inbox so that I could follow up on sent invoices. For example, if a customer says that it wasn't sent then I can go to my sent folder in my email program and forward the original email proving when it was sent. The customer response would then be right with the sent email. This function was helpful in our old program.
