### "Very Pleased with Load Balancer Enterprise ADC"

July 16, 2025

5.0

Great. Support has been fantastic, and the solution and support were priced well. Great sales experience due to not having to go through a channel partner. Learning how to use the ADC and finding new capabilities has also been enjoyable.

Pros

Functionality. This is a flexible solution that can accommodate complex configurations. The ADC provides a nice web interface to manage the open source tools that are under the hood.

Cons

Observability. I wish there were built-in WAF dashboards similar to what you see in tools like Reblaze. The data is there, it is just difficult to satisfy an auditor that the WAF is doing its job without pretty graphs that show detected/blocked traffic. We integrated with Wazuh to achieve that, but it would be nice if this was native or in the portal.

### "Loadbalancer Enterprise ADC, it just works"

September 26, 2025

Overall i am very happy with the performance and the solution LoadBalancer Enterprise ADC is delivering.

Pros

Although the solution is very powerful and flexible, configuring your solution is very easy. It just works.

Cons

If i need to think about a feature i like the least, maybe sounds boring but if the box does something funny, support will always help you out

### "Consistently Strong Product and Support Experience"

March 25, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Loadbalancer over the past year has been excellent. Support has been consistently responsive and proactive, especially when assisting with special configurations that required additional expertise.

Pros

The Loadbalancer team provides excellent support and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have the information needed to keep our systems running smoothly.

Cons

I’m not aware of any notable cons when working with the Loadbalancer support team. The systems operate as designed and meet our expectations.

### "Great product by a great company!"

February 5, 2026

5.0

Great company to deal with. Solid product with plenty of features. Doesn't need constant tinkering or maintenance once up and running (except for patching). Pricing is good for top tier product, and offers good value for money.

Pros

The appliance provides a huge amount of configuration options, with a lot of granular control to suit most hosting environments. We use it for balancing between web servers to provide failover capabilities and it does the job without complaining. No performance impact. The support is what really sets Loadbalancer.org aside from similar products. Very responsive and knowledgeable engineers, no need to deal with 1st line gatekeepers. Every time I've dealt with support, I've only been met with friendly, approachble people who know their stuff.

Cons

It can be a steep learning curve for anyone new to this. If you've come with existing experience with HAProxy or other Apache-based reverse-proxy platforms, you may find it easier to get started. However, the onboarding process and support has been really helpful.

Alternatives considered

Better value for money as we use a lot of different domains, resulting in very high costs for cloud alternatives.

Moving away from Sophos, which conveniently had a built-in HAProxy module. We need a like-for-like replacement that is firewall agnostic.

### "SMB enthusiastic user"

September 2, 2025

5.0

Very positive and highly recommended - As a generalist, I need to be able to quickly adopt new technology without a steep learning curve.

Pros

Easy to adopt in a small IT shop, does what it's supposed to do, easily updated and support is smart, friendly and available. No downtime or incidents in my three years of use.

Cons

I struggled to make use of the online features (update and backup), and ultimately decided I didn't need them.

### "Wonderful Experience"

November 13, 2025

5.0

Been using loadbalancer.org for years and have had an absolutely wonderful experience. Initial configuration was straight forward. And over the years as I've needed more complex configurations I've either found them in the documentation, or the support team has been really good for both helping me identify options, as well as troubleshoot different behaviors. Can't say enough good things about the support I've received.

Pros

Simple setup Flexible load balancing Layer 4 UDP Direct Response Layer 4 Excellent Support SSL Offloading Simple Remote GUI to manage things

Cons

Linux Kernel doesn't support latest virtual machine versions. But that isn't negatively affecting the performance or anything.

Chose loadbalancer.org because of feature set and pricing. Other low priced offerings didn't support Layer4 UDP load balancing. Others that did were priced much higher.

### "Great product and support"

October 17, 2025

5.0

I would just reiterate my satisfaction with the support and product. We've been using this service for years as a result of the good support and product line aligning well with our needs.

Pros

I very much appreciate the quick response time, attention to my explanation, and the willingness to go above and beyond to help solve the problems we were facing. The flexibility with how we are deploying and configuring is a huge factor as well.

Cons

I didn't have any complaints. So far everything has been straight forward. The product works, the support is great, and the flexibility is there.

### "A reliable product."

June 5, 2025

5.0

A robust and trustworthy product that users can count on for consistent performance and minimal downtime.

Pros

The system is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward to configure, even for those with limited technical experience. It features a well-designed, intuitive web-based user interface (WebUI) that allows for efficient navigation and management of settings. Upgrading to newer versions is a seamless process, requiring minimal downtime and ensuring compatibility with existing configurations.

Cons

The Web-based user interface (WebUI) does not currently provide an option to configure or adjust the time interval between individual monitoring checks, requiring manual modification through backend settings or configuration files instead.

### "A quality product, highly reccomend"

November 14, 2025

5.0

We have been extremely happy with the product the entire time, our questions and concerns are all solved in a timely manner and support is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros

It was not difficult to set up and get running, and the documentation was extensive. The support team has been excellent. There are extensive sets of options to configure the load balancer.

Cons

The worst thing I could say is that it feels like the device is geared towards developers and requires a high level of technical knowledge.

### "Load Balancer Enterprise ADC review"

December 18, 2024

5.0

Experience has been consistently satisfying with Load balancer ADC.

Pros

load balancer enterprise has a quick and easy solution to gather and send all troubleshooting information to support for analysis

Cons

Need to manually reload services after every change

Review Source

Response from Loadbalancer.org

January 17, 2025

Hi Reagan, Thanks very much for the feedback. Yes, the reload prompt can be a bit annoying. I'm not sure if you already know, but the reload is designed so that it can be performed after multiple changes, and it is transparent i.e. never causes downtime. Maybe we need to make that more obvious with the prompt description? Thanks again for your feedback, it's much appreciated.

### "Excellent Product and Amazing Support"

June 23, 2022

Love the product, easy to setup, intuitive to understand, and functionally superior to the other Load Balancers that we have in the organization

Pros

It is configured in an intuitive manner and provides data that is easily interpretted for management review

Cons

The only thing I would change is UI customization including color changes. Bright white is pain on the eyes in a dashboard NOC

Reason for choosing Load Balancer Enterprise ADC

We actually purchased the Kemp after the LoadBalancer.org since vendor recommended it but it is not intuitive as LoadBalancer.org

### "Functional, Cost Effective, Easy and Reliable "

October 31, 2019

Overall Experiance = Very Good

Pros

Functional, Cost Effective Implimentation took half the time compared to other more popular appliances Easy to support and maintain Excellent Documentation and Suport from loadbalancer.org via email and phone

Cons

The Interface is simple and intuitive but can be at times clunky. Have found it works better in Chrome. Would like to see facelift on the interface. MIBs are available for monitoring the appliance but could do with adverting these and making them easier to download

### "We use this solution to blance the connection load to our customer website on our six web servers."

April 17, 2018

5.0

it's easy to setup and use, it's really nice to communicate with their custumers service who is quick and qualified.

Pros

Loabalancer.org solutions are esay to setup and administrate. They can balance differents protocols with the same applicance. We really like the Direct Routing method to get a really good reponse time for our custumors even if this method requier some adjustements on web servers to work properly.

Cons

In the past i have got a issue with the serial cable that use for making a cluster work. I think they can improve this part to automaticaly setup the cluster when a specific cable is connected on two appliance for exemple.

### "good product, great value for money, with excellent support"

April 13, 2018

5.0

full load balancing for exchange, without the pricetag of much more expensive hardware. No "expiring" hardware (As we got the vm) and it was even supported in hyper-v environment...

Pros

very good, stable, and understandable product. I cant pinpoint anything for the use it is running on, to the contrary I can feel system is overall a winner. Support is very good, and know their stuff, and that's what puts everything together.

Cons

well, nothing much really - we forget that its actually there, the only problem is the boss thinks you are not working hard enough...

April 11, 2018

They simply do what they were bought for.

Pros

The load balancers are running very stable, provide a good performance and after a while you do not even know you are using them because they are inconspicuous.

Cons

There is nothing to complain about, no performance or stability issues, no need to reboot. Rare software updates because there isn't much you can make better when the product is perfect. :-)

### "Great Value, Exceptional Support"

July 22, 2025

5.0

We've had a positive experience with Load Balancer Enterprise ADC, which has served as the backbone of our production infrastructure for several years. The product has consistently demonstrated reliability, performance, and scalability, enabling us to maintain smooth operations with minimal disruption.

Pros

Their support team is outstanding. Few vendors we’ve worked with offer the same level of responsiveness, technical expertise, and commitment to resolving issues. In an industry where many products offer similar core functionality, it’s the quality of support that truly sets Load Balancer Enterprise ADC apart. Whether facing a complex configuration question or troubleshooting a critical issue, their support staff consistently delivers timely, knowledgeable assistance that makes a significant difference in our operational confidence.

Cons

Over the past few years, we’ve encountered a handful of bugs across different versions that led to brief outages in our production environment. While these incidents were disruptive, they were not frequent and were typically resolved quickly. Fortunately, the vendor’s support team was responsive and effective, helping us identify and implement fixes in a timely manner. Still, more rigorous regression testing prior to new releases would improve confidence in long-term stability.
