It has the functionality to allow users to access it remotely via VPN and mobile phone applications. Cons It seems to take much manipulation on the back side to be able to generate necessary data in the way we want to see it. While powerful, it is not user-friendly and is not easily customizable. From what I understand, it is extremely expensive to purchase and implement, so firms likely make a huge financial investment, get stuck with the product, and live with it as is because they can't afford to move to another platform. I am only able to access from my desktop computer and laptop. Used the software for: ### "CRM Needs Improvement" April 11, 2017 3.0 I find Deltek's CRM module to be lacking. Many of us who are Office 365, are already on the 2016 version. Deltek's MS Outlook compatibility only works with version 2013. Also, your crm is not compatible with Windows Phone. Consequently I manage all of my contacts and clients via Outlook. Entry into Deltek's CRM is cumbersome, and required the right data be entered in the right sequence, with very little flexibility. Consequently, we cannot just drag and drop from Outlook, nor can we export from a photo program designed to capture business cards and export to Outlook. Because of this, and the fact that I am on the road a good portion of time, so need rapid, input and access, I don't use your CRM module, and just use Outlook. Granted, the Windows Phone is a dying platform, but even on the Android, the process for entry does not mirror outlook and requires more steps. In conclusion, if you could make your CRM completely compatible with the latest versions of Outlook, with drag and drop, or at least export/import capabilities...especially in bulk, that would make Deltek the go to for all things CRM. Comptroller Architecture & Planning Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Vision Story" November 14, 2016 4.0 After using Bill Quick for two years at the A/E firm where I was newly employed, I researched other software for A/E firms (I was in a role where I could make this decision to upgrade) and was drawn to Deltek. I felt they had the best product in the marketplace and pushed hard for the implementation of Vision despite the cost. After months of anticipation, I finally got approval to move forward with my decision and in 2010 we rolled out Vision for our accounting and H/R functions and have been quite pleased with it. After 6 years of Vision the firm has grown and we are now looking into adding the Project Planning module. My experience with Deltek Vision has been very good overall, however, I would like to request they keep their cost more competitive. Deltek is continuously looking for feedback and ways to improve their software to better serve their customer. Very robust from the proposal stage to invoicing and financial reporting. A complete ERP system. Cons It's robust since it covers all the departments in your organization. This makes it complex and hard to learn without time spent in training. Pros Great for a small company we used this at my company prior to Montrose. We had about 40 employees and used it for accounting and payroll. Cons Seems a bit outdated and limited.
