Supply Team Agent Consumer Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Super simple, smooth software that aides in motivating employees" August 5, 2019 5.0 Kudos has assisted with providing a means of self motivation for the current employees. Once they see the prize they want, they are then motivation to go above and beyond at work with the hopes of receiving kudos. Employees often continue to give 110% until they get the item that they want. With the prizes being updated every so often it provides a means to continuously keep that 110% effort going. For example, an apple watch is quite an expensive piece, but through hard work and using kudos, you can obtain the expensive piece without having to come out of pocket. When employees are learning a new program or software that can be frustrating, using the kudos system keeps everyone going. This has overall been very beneficial for the employees. Pros I find that this software is an excellent way to provide feedback to other team members. It allows for company wide praises and gives users the chance to accumulate enough points (kudos) to get awesome prizes. This is definitely a great software that I would recommend to just about any business looking for a way to motivate their employees. Cons I wouldn't say that there is anything I actually dislike about this software, but some recommendations would be to add more customization to the interface of the software. Customization and personalizing is very important in today's era of technology. Allowing users to change the color of the background, text, borders etc., include GIFs (example: firework GIFs) and a variety of stickers that can be used to personalize the message being sent. The technological era we are in, already makes most interactions extremely impersonal. If you can customize the message being sent it makes it slightly more personal interaction. Customer Service Adviser Telecommunications Used the software for: 2+ years ### "KUDOS FOR KUDOS" May 8, 2019 5.0 Being a user of Kudos, the experience has generally been positive and exciting, kudos has totally changed the way people in my organization say thank you, appreciating you using kudos feels more different and feels more rewarding than when somebody just tells you thank you verbally, i feel like every month comes with a gift in form of kudos points. One negative thing i would love to note is that kudos is loosing meaning because now for someone to send you kudos, you must equally be willing to send the same amount of kudos points to the back to the person who sent you their Kudos points, that makes it feel like its a batter trade not an appreciation. for example, one comes to you and tells you i have 50 Kudos points, if you also have 50 kudos points, lets exchange, To me that ceases to be an on spot appreciation or a way of saying thank you but it becomes a batter trade where you exchange something for something. Pros The software helps you recognize and appreciate a colleges good work on spot in a more rewarding way. The Software equally acts as a chatting platform i.e after sending a college Kudos, someone has a provision of where to leave a comment thus creating a chatting platform where two or more people can leave or exchange congratulatory messages. The software also has privacy features that is to say one can choose to send kudos but make the message private. you could be sending kudos to your girlfriend with the same company so the privacy feature helps make your conversation private. The notification messages like the birthday notifications, how long you have been working in the company etc are also one feature i love. Cons 1) Few rewards to redeem, sometimes you have the points but no rewards to redeem that is to say there are limited options of rewards to redeem 2)Some rewards don't make you feel the value of your hardly earned kudos points. 3)The colours on the site are a little too bright to a naked eye. Patient Account Representative Hospital & Health Care Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Helps employees of orgs feel appreciated" February 1, 2023 5.0 Pros It's easy to use and a great way for employees to feel appreciated and recognized in their organization with both tangible rewards and incentives and with messages of appreciation and recognition - both feel good to receive.The option to select qualities to include and tracking them on your profile are a fun and interesting touch.You can a sort of "scoreboard" of the top senders and receivers of recognition in your organization, just to look at or maybe see which managers show the most gratitude if you wanted to know for whatever reason :)There's a huge variety of gift cards and donations to choose from, AND the option to redeem for a prepaid visa card if you can't find a certain store or gift card offered Cons In your rewards history, there doesn't seem to be any information about how many Kudos points you received and from who. Just the history of the rewards you redeemed for Kudos points in the past. I think including this feature would be a great help for employees to make sure they have received rewards they are expecting to receive.Having the option to post a general message instead of a recognition one feels a bit redundant.Who the message is from is on the bottom when you see the posts and so it looks a bit confusing at first.There seems to be no explanation of what different levels of recognition (Thank you, Good job, Impressive, Exceptional) mean exactly (or if there is, it's not in an easy to find place in my opinion) Review Source IF Izzy F. Rating employee satisfaction is often as important as customer feedback - Kudos knows this, so their entire ecosystem has been built on that principle. We have seen a tremendous improvement in our workplace, with far fewer complaints being lodged, and far more compliments being shared. Competition in the workplace has also been maintained without neglecting performance. Pros Overviewing employee satisfaction AND performance in one dashboard is an absolute gift, both for myself and my contemporaries in C-suite as well as HR. We have not deployed Kudos on a managerial level, and feel it performs more than adequately within upper management and HR. From my experience, there is no solution currently on the market that facilitates such positivity in the work environment without compromising it's use as a KPI-tracking and HR intermediary. Cons Kudos could use more thorough integration with other KPI and HR solutions, but offers a competent standalone environment to make up for the lack of integration. Review Source Raymond K. August 16, 2019 5.0 Use of Kudos has increased our Employee Net Performance scores. Staff moral is increased when you take the time to individually recognize the great work your staff does. Pros What I most like about the software is that I can keep current on the excellent work that is being performed the employees in the company and I can partake in celebrating their successes by adding my comments. We sometimes get busy in our day to day work lives that we forget to thank our staff for the wonderful work they perform each and everyday. It is so easy to send a Kudos and the beautiful thing about it is what you get back in return is invaluable. Believe me there is nothing more gratifying then to open your Kudos and see that a manager or peer has told the entire company that you have done a great job. Another wonderful thing I stumbled upon today was that they have linked out IT Work Order completion reviews to Kudos. It is one click to send a good job Kudos. I have make it a habit to look at Kudos everyday. Cons There is nothing in particular that I don't like about the software. Pros What I like the most is how the software is easy and comfortable to use, you can open it in mobile or laptop. This gives us a chance to say thank you in a fun way to a colleague and letting them know that their effort and help is not wasted and being recognized. The dashboard is very easy to understand and tracks my streaks which is motivation to keep using it weekly. Cons Kudos is very easy to use and I have no concerns at this time. I really enjoy that you can add pictures as well and I like being able to shout out the hard work others are doing. June 20, 2022 4.0 There are huge benefits in using this software - it keeps employees on their toes and willing to help others. This formula is beneficial to all, from HR to ground-level employees. Pros This software is easy to use, and takes almost no time to give recognition when it is due; in this day & age where nobody's got time for anything personal it's quite gratifying to be able to give recognition in a few clicks. I feel its very employee / employer motivating! I know from personal experience, getting a kudos, definitely feels good and gives you a boost in the day! I truly love Kudos, fun engaging, motivating, all around a great platform! Cons I honestly have nothing negative to say about Kudos.
