Pros What I appreciate most about Kudos is that on a my daily basis it provides a listing of the individuals in my company that are having birthday and/or work anniversary. I personally like this because it gives me an added layer of insight about my co-workers that is just told me with having to research. I grow-up in the South so it is natural for me to speak and greet my co-workers. I really like the fact that Kudos is an electronic way for me to do that to my co-workers Cons I would like for Kudos give out reminder that you have earned so many points, which is worth this much in reward. August 15, 2019 5.0 I love the ability to recognise people immediately, to be recognised myself and to redeem rewards that apply to me, as and when I need them. Pros Ever since I started using Kudos, I have been recommending it to everyone I know in HR at other companies, for very simple reasons- it makes recognition instant and easy, the value attached to the recognition in terms of rewards offered is employee centric, and it can be used on-the-go if you download the app. I am thoroughly impressed by the overall product and love that I can view not only my recognition, and the recognition I give others, but also the recognition received by others! It's an important tool in identifying those gems within the organization who go above and beyond, and it helps in understanding what the strengths of our people are- if we recognise people by including a category of recognition. We are also allowed to vet the kudo's given by someone to someone else. I love that I can still give recognition to others even if I have not been part of the reason for the recognition, but if I know that the receiver is a person who regularly behaves in the manner being recognised for! Cons In terms of the app- I think it can be made to be a bit more intuitive. I don't have a lot of criticism here as I truly do love the kudo's software- I just think the app could be spruced up a bit. Review Source LH Layla H. Pros its easy to recognize e staff when the department is so big that i cannot get to see everyone face to face Cons I cannot sign in on the App. it wont allow me. i have deleted the App and instealled on my phone and it still doesnt recognize my sign in and password. but i can sign in on my computer just fine with the same user name and password. We at RingCentral have Kudos running on our main reception flat screen that is 20x20 feet! The awareness it drives helps us foster more positive teamwork. Overall, I think the Kudos and how HR has worked with our facilities helps us really showcase Kudos at RingCentral. Pros Very easy to use, it's takes me about less than two minutes to really compose a thoughtful Kudos note. Cons I don't think it's Kudos, but I want to write more notes and I sometimes don't have enough points, so I have to use mostly the "Thank You" versus the "Exceptional." Review Source SP Simon P. You can reward your colleagues in a few seconds, and simply bring happiness to their day. It makes you be more helpful because you can be rewarded for it.The greatest thing is my points value is doubled twice a year and it's fantastic. " July 25, 2023 5.0 Pros Working for a manufacturing company this is a way that the admin, sales, customer service staff can recognise others from different departments that make sure a difference in our day and the way we do our jobs. We may not work closely in the same department or vicinity but we can still acknowledge the efforts of anyone within the business and this is a great way of bringing the departments together. It's truly an amazing program that allows so much interaction which otherwise may not ever happen. Pros This software encourages employee engagement to the next level and does so in the most positive manner. Recognizing peers for accomplishments as well as thanking them for assistance is really neat! Cons I feel like that Kudos could improve with some of the UI. It can be difficult to search for specific people sometimes when giving Kudos. Another thing is when attaching a photo to an award and then changing the amount removes the photograph. April 10, 2019 5.0 Pros I love how Kudos allows you to compliment your colleagues for the tasks and goals they accomplish along with sending some Kudos points which gives a sense of reward. Users are then able to redeem these points for money value which is a great incentive to work harder and gain more Kudos. The software allows for company-wide recognition as well which in turn motivates you and build self confidence. Cons The fact that we have to reach a certain number of points to redeem them sometimes bothers me as the maximum amount of points you can transfer at a time is 50 points and to redeem them you have to reach a minimum of 20,000 points. A more feasible way would be either to reward more points in a single post or decrease the minimum redemption target to 5000 points. Review Source TS Todd S. Being able to offer a little bit of positive support to feedback makes it so much easier to positively manage a team. And the fact that recognition is shared amongst colleagues demonstrates that not only is the team successful but that there is recognition of that success. Pros That its easy to use. Every person in our company, no matter their level of technical skill is able to use the system for what it is intended. The best part about this software is that I never have to think of it as software, it is just a reliable integrated positive piece of our workplace environment. Cons The only real negative is that it would be nice to see the rewards and gift cards redeemable digitally so that we didn't have to wait for an internal process to get us a physical copy. So many of the companies involved have digital gift cards now it would be handy if you could just request the benefit and it was automatically generated, maybe even inside the app itself. Pros Kudos is a great team building opportunity, and it proves to me that I'm being effective in my roll and appreciated in my field. Cons It takes a while to get the feedback from customers. I forget what the call was about by the time I receive the feedback.Some of the options for providing feedback to my team are irrelevant. I have been using kudos for over 2 years now and it's so easy to log in and recognize any coworker of yours that helped you out or when out of their way. Its also a great way for your supervisors to show their appreciation for their employees by saying something nice or giving someone a kudos points that could later be converted to gift cards. I feel like my work has a much bigger impact when I receive Kudos. Cons Kudos, in general, is a very easy to use platform, but I would like to see its user interface become a tad more modern. I've also found it is a quick way to recognize someone in a different department or even on a different campus in another location when I want to let them know how much I appreciated their help. It takes recognition up several notches beyond just a simple email. Thanks! Pros KUDOs software is extremely user-friendly. Just a few clicks to recognize someone, then add your own sentiment or a gif to make it personalized! Cons There are no features I dislike. There are a couple of ways that we can make Kudos more accessible; have you tried the Kudos browser extension? It allows you to send and receive Kudos in your browser without needing to go to your Kudos page. This is great if you spend a lot of time in your browser. Our extension is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. You can grab the extension by visiting https://support.kudosnow.com/hc/en-us/articles/203808586-Using-the-Kudos-Browser-Add-on You could also create a shortcut to your Kudos page on your desktop and place it on your Taskbar.
