It seems like certain groups, like the front office and origination, doesn't really use or they don't acknowledge or appreciate the people that help them. Pros I like that this encourages people to take the time and thank others! I also like that it is quick to do and it equates to an actual award...like money for Starbucks or Buffalo Wild Wings!! Cons I would like to add my own characteristics, not use the standard ones like Caring, Demanding, Inclusive, Open, Bold, Safe, Caring. Pros I like that you can just select the reason you're giving the kudos such as Team Work or Knowledge Sharing Cons I wish coworker's reviews counted towards points for rewards, but just getting recognized is nice. Pros The ease and transparency that Kudos provides in allowing us to recognise employees' effort and contribution, fits perfectly within our culture of recognition and reward in a timely manner. Allows all our members of our team to appreciate each other. We have now been using for three years and it hasn't lost its momentum. We use as a tool to send announcements, newsletters, share corporate event photos - which brings our team back to the site which reinvigorates further use. October 13, 2019 5.0 Pros What I love about Kudos the most is that there are so many options to cash in for your gift card. You name a place, and there's a gift card for it on there. I love it. It is fast and friendly! Its a great way for employees to interact with other employees. Money is one of the best incentives a company can give and with Kudos you're able to spend it however you like. When I have my own business I will be sure to use Kudos and nothing else! Cons I don't like how you can't see what everyone says about a person unless you see it scrolling. I enjoy receiving Kudos as well as rewarding hard working coworkers with Kudos points. Recently, there was an issue with my Kudos e-gift card not being sent to me electronically. I reached out to Kudos support team, and the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours. That is 5 star customer service. I would recommend Kudos to every business, company, and friend. Pros I like the software because it is easy to use. The idea behind Kudos is also original and it makes work a little more exciting to be rewarded for hard work. October 9, 2019 5.0 It has been an extremely positive experience. It is easy to use and points do add up quickly if you are doing a good job! Pros Kudos is an amazing system that helps you show your appreciation and respect and thanks to employees within a company. I love that I am able to send and receive points to fellow employees when I think they deserve something to say “thank you for everything you do”. This platform isn’t just for higher ups in a company it is for all employees. This way even if a boss wasn’t aware of what a great job a fellow employee is doing or how they have been helping others, I can take notice and send a special note with points so they know they are valued. Cons I just wish that I could pick the word that goes with the kudos ie: thank you is 5 points while exceptional is 50 points. It's a great way to express appreciation for the people I work with. I also like receiving Kudos, because there is a nice range of gift cards I can redeem! Cons I think it's really easy to use already! My only advice for improvement would be to add 2 features: -One where we can reply to other people's comments on Kudos-Another one where we can "react" to Kudos that someone else has given us. Like how on Facebook you can "love" "like" "care" or "haha" react someone's post. I would like if we could do that here instead of having to choose between not interacting with a post at all or just commenting on it. August 25, 2023 4.0 Pros The site itself is easy to use and I enjoy the fact that even if we give out more than the allotted amount we have for the month, we can still give out more without disappointing anyone. Cons I wish the amount of Kudos points we can send was more for each category. I like the reminders as well, if you haven't given a kudos in a while. Cons I don't always know I have a Kudos. I also sometimes have trouble adding more than one person to a kudos. I do find that when trying to view all the company comments for kudos it is sometimes more difficult to pull up that information. Pros The ease at which you can give kudos. The software is very user friendly. It clearly goes noticed and appreciated without the sometimes, awkward feelings from face to face interactions of the same nature. Pros I like being able to recognize my peers and have that recoginition displayed to all so that everyone can see what I am conveying about that particular employee. Management can see what is being done while they aren't in the environment which will positively affect the employee in reviews and on day-to-day basis. Cons I would like to be able to see more reward points for recognition if a certain level is reached or quantity of recognition is given out instead of just awards offered by management.
