From customizing our programs, to easy notifications for employees and even managers, this system has allowed our employees to recognize each other, for leaders to recognize employees, and allow employees to choose how they redeem "points." Giving employees a choice in rewards is key to the success and our employees love it! Pros Awardco is such an easy way to recognize employees and our employees love to be able to redeem their points easily for so many different things. Cons The only things we would want on our wishlist is an easier way to have a recognition feed embedded in our intranet and also a way for our external clients to be able to recognize our employees easily. They are happy to purchase different cards from points as needed. Also, they get digital visibility across the full company. I think there's some areas where we could improve or change, but overall--it does it's job and certainly serves its purpose of helping encourage the habit of a positive shout out of other coworkers. As it is now, I would recommended it to others if I felt the platform would be relevant. Pros Awardco is a great tool to encourage the team to give praise to others and helps to make it a routine habit of positive shouting out of other coworkers. While we aren't given many credits, I do feel that it's till a good value for the money. The low amount does prevent you feeling like you have to struggle to use all of your credits up. Cons Customer service response time. I had an issue during the holidays and tried to reach out, but was not able to get a quick response back. There wasn't any posted holiday hours listed I could find. They did get back to me and handle the issue after the holiday however. On top of that, the recognition can be made public to the company. While some people are not about the recognition, it is still nice when someone notices success and shares the value of that team member. Cons Personally, the only cons I see is how an employer would set the system up. Company branded apparel can be a little overpriced. For my company, the monetary rewards are taxed so that is a bit of con, but who doesn't want to make a little more money for doing what you normally do. However, other than that I cannot find any other problems or issues. Cons When purchasing directly from Amazon, items can be a little more expense (in points) then in dollars. However, when that happens, I grab a gift card and that evens things up! Neat options to choose from. Pros It offered a variety of options and things I actually wanted not just some random thing that I would probably not end up using. It sends me reminders when my rewards are about to expire so I make sure I don't lose them. Navigation is pretty straight forward on the site; I never had any issues. When I had a question about my order, I called customer service once and got the information needed the first time I called and received my package by the time I was told I would. Cons Limitation on amount of money I can use for gift cards. I believe the most I could spend was $185 I probably would have used all my reward money on digital Mastercard gift card. The site is easy to navigate and I like that there are 2 different uses of the platform - for recognizing employees and another for using points for items. Pros I like the ability to recognize employees and use different imagery/themes to do so. I have also used the Memory Milestone Book to celebrate a colleague's work anniversary and that was really simple to use as well. Additionally, I like that I can use my points to purchase Paramount swag OR Amazon. I appreciate the flexibility and the variety of options. Cons Only staff employees are included in the list of people that you can recognize within the system. With contract employees excluded, it leaves out a portion of our department's workforce. This is sometimes the only sort of acknowledgment they may ever get in a work environment. Pros It is very straightforward to use. The information you might need is easy to find (recipient emails, points available, etc) and the flow makes sense. Cons Honestly, there was very little to dislike. Easy to use and quick. The website and app are both very easy to navigate, and the process of claiming an award and getting the digital gift card is almost instant. It’s a really motivating system because the rewards feel tangible and useful. It makes celebrating milestones like birthdays or winning a sales contest at work feel a lot more rewarding. Pros The variety of redemption options is excellent. I’ve received awards for several work contests and my birthday, and I love that I can use the points for practical things like Uber, DoorDash, and Visa gift cards. It’s much better than receiving random physical items because I can actually use the rewards for my daily expenses or a night out Cons The platform is very solid, but I’d like to see even more local vendor options added to the gift card section in the future. I ordered through Amazon and didn't have to pay anything for shipping. Some items I have received the next day. This one took two days. Very fast shipping! Cons There wasn't anything I didn't like.
