HR Manager Machinery Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great addition to the company!" March 4, 2022 4.0 Overall we really like Awardco and it has been a good addition to the business! It's nice to have a way to encourage and reward our employees. I also like that people can give recognition even without points/money attached. That is a great option for employees that don't have their own budget to recognize others. We also use it to give service awards, Christmas gifts, etc. which is very convenient! Lastly, our customer service with Awardco is always great. We have account reps we speak with regularly and are always available to help with whatever we need. Pros I love the ease of using the platform! It's very user friendly both as a user and an admin. This is key since employees won't use it if it's too complicated or hard to figure out. I also love the product offerings! Since it's linked to Amazon employees can get just about anything. We also recently added the Swag store and have been loving that too! It's really nice to be able to use Awardco for that and not a third party apparel company. Cons Our reoccurring complaint is we wish there was a way for employees to use a credit card to pay the difference on items they want, instead of having to wait for more points to be awarded. Often our employees hoard points because they are saving for something specific and might only be a few points away. We know enabling gift cards could be a work around, but that comes with tax implications we don't want to deal with. I do also wish the reporting on the admin side was a little more robust - it works for us because we have a smaller organization so it's easy for me to still look at a list of all employee data if I'm looking for information not provided in a report, but that would be more challenging with a bigger company. It is, without a doubt, a HUGE SUCCESS! Pros As our workforce becomes more remote, recognition that knows no time, geographical, or team boundaries is important to us. One of our core tenants is to lift others up around us. Awardco helps us do that in a seamless, incredibly efficient and effective way! Cons I wish we could manage our user database directly in the system without the upload needed with the metadata. It would allow us more immediate additions (for companies like us where HCM integration is not possible at this time). I would also love to have a customer user group so we can share best practices and see how others use Awardco. That type of collaboration would be incredible. Today we can only rely on our account manager - which is a limited source of ideas. Talking to our peer group and how they each implemented it within their environments and use the tool to engage would be more valuable. Reason for choosing Awardco The implementation team, ease of use, willingness to assist us, their patience and their overall attitude towards working with teams who are juggling so much. February 15, 2024 5.0 I haven't experienced anything negative with Awardco. The products are nice, the shipping is fast, the shopping is easy. The only thing I've noticed is if you considered a point per dollar, sometimes the products cost a few more dollars than they would if you just ordered straight from the source. Pros I love receiving my points through here, bc i save the points and feel like it's a savings account that i can use to spend on fun things i wouldn't normally buy. The shipping is really fast and it's super easy to order. May 26, 2023 5.0 Pros What I like most about Awardco is that it is able to tie in with our college values, so our recognitions are more intentional. I also love that the points can be saved up and translate to dollars that can be sent on real things like giftcards, amazon products, etc. Most times when I've seen systems like this, the point to dollar value doesn't add up, but I love that if I 20 points, I can get a $20 gift card! It makes sense and it's so easy to use. Cons I think the hardest part is that I don't really think of using Awardco until a reminder arrives in my inbox. This may be how my institution uses it, but I still appreciate the reminders. It could be nice to have an app that I could use on the go. Review Source HL Heather L. The new system is very quick and easy to use to recognize our company's corporate employees. It takes much less time to utilize the new system than it did to submit recognition under the old platform. You can also submit recognition for multiple employees at the same time for team members collaborating on a project together. The Awardco feed is a dynamic tool to gauge the pulse of our company and its employees. It is a great way for me to keep in touch with what is going on in our organization. I can see who has been recognized for demonstrating our core values and interact with them by offering congratulatory messages and kudos for their outstanding work and contributions. Positive reinforcement increases the likelihood that the desired behavior will continue and be strengthened across our organization. The new system also allows me the opportunity to actively engage with employees who have recent birthdays and work anniversaries in real time. I believe the efficiency and simplicity of our new Awardco system have facilitated a significant increase in employee recognition and engagement. Pros I love the ease of use of the system and how quickly a nomination can occur for employees and supervisors. Pros I love the way this is a tool purely for the use of positivity and building people up. Both Teammates and those in Leadership have the opportunity to recognize Outstanding moments as well as those that are Quietly Consistent. Anytime an AWARDCO Email pops up, you are instantly happy to check it! Cons I only wish that there were more points allowed for team mates to give to others. Maybe instead minimizing the total points we are able to give, we maybe just have limits on how OFTEN we can give points to INDIVIDUALS. For example: Currently if I wanted to thank about 8 people on my team with the 5point gift option, I would not be able to because I don't have enough points. But Ideally, I could thank each one of them with the 5point option but would have to wait an allotted amount of time before any of them were eligible to be thanked with that option again. We are able to recognize our employees quickly and effortlessly, and we love it! Pros The Award options are unlimited and it's the only system that partners with Amazon. Hundreds of other options for our employees to choose from. Everyone...and I mean everyone who have used our system, love it much better than our previous 'catalog' options for anniversaries. And used as an employee recognition platform, Awardco goes above and beyond! Awardco is easy to use for both the end user and administrators. The staff at Awardco are so helpful and open to feedback and suggestions on how to make the system even better. Cons What's great about Awardco is that they listen to their clients. I've seen where improvements can be made and not only to they meet with me to understand the ask and issue, they have actively put new features in and improvements. They are always working to make the system better. There are always new things I want or think the system should have/do, but I know they are working on my suggestions or rolling out even better improvements I didn't even think of. November 24, 2022 5.0 I initially started looking for a new partner after hitting wall after wall where we were. We wanted to connect our swag store on Spotify to our loyalty platform so our sales reps could use their loyalty currency to purchase merch and AwardCo. made it happen when seemingly no one else could! They also helped to modernize our program, our reps love the ability to shout each other out on the Feed! Pros Working with AwardCo has been incredible for Day 1. I sourced them out after running into issue after issue with our previous loyalty platform provider and it has been the best decision! They helped us break through walls in our program we had been up against for years! Cons I know it's a good process to specialize in sales, onboarding and then Account Management, but it's never a simple transition between company contacts. That being said, we often get sold on a product only to discover the follow through isn't there. That's not the case with AwardCo., every contact we've worked with there has been incredible! January 29, 2022 5.0 I use Awardco on a weekly basis to easily provide recognition for team members that have gone above and beyond. Team members are always excited when they are recognized and they send an email of thanks. It is so easy to be timely with recognition because it is easy to navigate and recognize. I would recommend product to any company that is looking to add a recognition platform. The fact that you can spend points on Amazon items, hotels, gifts cards......absolutely incredible! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Pros Awardco is easy to use to give recognition and to spend points. Even the most challenged computer user, can easily navigate this site. I don't have to mess around with a card they have given me to where I have to scan something in. It's all right there, just a few simple clicks of a button and i'm done. Delivery time is usually pretty fast as well on anything I order. Pros I love how easy this platform to use. It is so much easier to use that the old system that we had in place. The range of items you are able to chose from is awesome and super appreciated. Also love being able to see recognitions that my peers receive as well as being able to go back and look at ones that I have received.
