December 11, 2019 5.0 Pros I loved being rewarded for my tenure. Awardco's software allowed my organization to schedule awards on anniversaries and I was the proud recipient of such an award. Honestly, even though the awardco award was monetarily less than my quarterly bonus, it was more of a delight to receive! It showed me in some small way that the organization cares about my tenure, which is something I've NEVER felt before in my entire experience here. Keep it up! Cons I didn't like Awardco's search. There is no good way to browse for things you might be interested in. You have to know exactly what you want to search for. I ended up browsing on Amazon directly, then when I found something I wanted, I pasted in an abbreviated product description into awardco to find it. Although your search domain is pretty much anything sold by Amazon.com, it was not obvious at first why the points value was higher than the dollar amount found directly on Amazon. I later learned, that it is that way because it accounts for tax! Who knew? That could have been more transparent from the start. Review Source AM Amy M. It is nice to have a platform where all employees exist, and with the ease to give points and be done with it helps a lot. Another benefit that Awardco produces is that the award/reward can be given instantaneously. While they may not receive the final gift immediately, the points are received immediately. We want to provide a reward as close to the accomplishment as possible to help motivate our employees. Pros What I like best is that it is so convenient and available for use across all employees of our company. It's easy and fast. Cons In our situation specifically, employees like cash rewards immediately, and Awardco doesn't entirely solve that issue for us. A lot of our employees like to just have cash and this way they have the option to use it on whatever they want. The Amazon gift card rewards within Awardco do help a lot with that idea. I have used Awardco points to help buy things I needed like an air fryer, an ergonomic chair for my home office, and a portable power station. Pros When HR gives me a goal and I reach that goal, I am given Awardco points. I can save them up or spend them right away. It was great to have the eCard option since the item I wanted was more than I had points for. So I used the eCard for Amazon on the Amazon website and padded the remainder needed from my own resources. Cons You can't add on your own resources to buy something through Awardco. Cons What I like the least is the time it took to process a refund. I had to return an item to Amazon and days after it had been returned my points weren't credited back to my account. Every time I give or receive a shout-out from my coworkers or manager, it is worth 5 points. It is a nice extra appreciation and I enjoy saving up my points and redeeming for gift cards. It helps put money where your mouth is. Pros Getting rewards from managers is always a plus. I get notified by email, with an easy link to access my rewards and see how much I have. I like the 1 point to 1 dollar ratio which makes it easy to see how valuable a reward is. Cons The online shop could have some better deals to make if more beneficial to shop from. Its very interactive and engaging. Helps team members be vocal about acknowledging great work performance. I enjoyed the entire experience, from being recognized to cashing out. Great software. Pros This program thought of everything. I love that it resembles a social media platform, allowing team members to post, comment and react to fellow team members recognition posts. You can see across the company who is being recognized and congratulate them. Tracking reward points is a great feature. Cashing out is the fun part. There were quite a few things to choose from which made me very excited.
