This allows a user to be transparent with management and set goals and keep line of communications open with management as far as progress on tasks. Easily able to give and receive feedback without talking face to face with manager. This is especially important when everything is running smoothly as updates can be communicated thru the platform. Cons Not much of anything here not to like about it. Just depends on how the organization makes use of the application but as far as the platform itself it lends itself very user friendly and really effective if all parties of the organization are actively using it. When using this in combination with your regular team touch points, you can preload important questions for the week, gauge morale and frustrations, plus get a sense of where employees find the most reward. The responsiveness of the 15five team in dealing with issues, feedback, or simply a question, is quite high, and always friendly. The web interface is quite fast, smooth and simple to use. Pros \- It gives you the ability to make a weekly Journal of your activity throughout the week in a few minutes a day. - It has a clean simple interface that is easy to use. - You can give anyone a "High Five" for a job well done. - Goals and priorities are easy to set and track progress. - It improves ongoing communication with your manager for one on one meetings, it also takes a lot of stress out of performance review time. You don't have to try remember a years worth of accomplishments at once Cons \- Sometimes the rotating questions can be tough to answer. Pros I really like how all it takes is 15 minutes a weeks to answer questions which are valuable for every level of management. Employees need to feel that they are learning and growing every week - 15Five helps with that in an organized insightful way. I find a lot of issues get brought up using the system that otherwise an employee wouldn't mention. Cons Changing the order of questions for different groups and employees is not user friendly. Also, one of the best side effects for our fast paced organization is this tool allows us to share wins, praise other team members and through recognizing work well done it also allows others with in the group to hear about what others are working on. Pros open lines of communication, hearing ideas/feedback. allows conversations to happen that might not come up naturally in a normal 1:1 meeting. Cons scheduling questions out is a little clunky and i have to mess with it to get the questions cued up for several weeks. Pros It is easy to fill out and does not take much time. It also helps me to organize my thoughts for the week. Cons Sometimes it's tough to fill it out for vacation periods. Having the software set to sleep mode during vacations in a way that does not end one's "streak" or on-time submissions should be an option.
