For this purpose, it is great. Super user-friendly and simple to set up and maintain. Cons You are unable to edit a past 1:1. This comes in to play when it was "automatically" closed, you can't go in and edit the date. But, you can delete it, and create another manual one. Just a minor inconvenience. Review Source BD Bo D. This philosophy was new to us, but we have experienced great participation and are able to give team leaders direct information in an anonymous way. Cons The product itself is very user friendly and intuitive. We use it to set weekly priorities, form the basis for our Managerial 1:1s and our quarterly Objective and Key Results (OKRs). It has been the single best investment for team and manager engagement. Peer-given 15Fives punctuate our culture and is great as we expand past HQ to more remote offices. I highly (and consistently) recommend this tool. Cons There is nothing I like least about this software. I also really like the public high five section. You can see who others in the company have given kudos to. Pros This is very easy to use and is great to keep a pulse on your employees! I have learned that often times employees are more likely to bring to your attention issues or ideas in this type of setting, and not during an in person 1:1. And this is a wonderful platform for that! Cons I can't really think of much that I don't like about the software. I am a lower level user, and not an admin. Cons That there is nothing for us to do performance management and reviews on. I would like to see that integrated this year. The objectives and the child objectives lay out can be a bit cumbersome. I would like to be able to switch out and customize my own questions in a more simplified manner. Pros 15five has a lot of what we are looking for in creating a high morale workforce. Custom integrations with an API is a big bonus for me. The 360 self review is critical to understanding employee sentiment, goals, etc. All around very impressed with what I see. Cons The software seems to be better tailored for medium to large companies, especially with the pricing model. Pros Usually you or your supervisor you don't have time to share what do you think exactly about the work, about the decisions taken during the work. Here you can go to 15Five and leave your idea and hopefully the message will be taken seriously. Cons It's a good way to communicate with your supervisor or your lead team and also it's helping you to thank any other colleague who either helped to resole an issue or simply make your day more easy. My direct manager is not always present in the office, and this allows me to have somewhat of a discussion each week. He doesn't need to be constantly looking over me to understand my frustrations each week. Pros Being able to express any concerns or thoughts I have during the week. It's nice to be able to have another channel of communication with upper management. It helps improve communication between departments. Cons No real cons of this software. It's a great tool, especially because it gives you a lot of flexibility in how you want to use it (you can choose what questions will be asked, etc.). Especially in a start ups, when management isn't centralized or standardized across the company and things change quickly, 15Five is a good and adaptable tool. The high-five system is a great way to give shout outs. Cons 15Five's time sequencing often is confusing. If you miss one of your 15Fives or 1-on-1s it automatically opens next week's and you often end up mistakenly filling out the wrong report. Review Source Volodymyr L.
