January 12, 2018 4.0 Pros I have worked for other companies that require I submit a weekly report to my supervisor and this is by far the quickest and easiest. I like that I am notified when my supervisor has reviewed them. It saves time by not having to have a physical meeting each week. I like that I get reminder emails when they are due. Cons The layout of the questions and where to answer can be confusing. It would be nice to have a place to put an explanation next to a task that was not completed the week before to give an update on why it is not complete. Review Source MR Marsha R. It's easy to use and I truly appreciate how it gets us to be consistent because we are able to address issues on a day to day. Cons I just thought that the weekly use of 15five was replacing year end reviews or it would be more inclusive. That part seems to be a bit more convoluted to work from the VPs objectives all the way down to ours. Cons It is not easy to print a full report on a region or grouping as have to print views individually. I think this provides an easy way to share a concise report to my manager and other leadership. Pros It's easy to use! Our team uses this to provide weekly updates to our direct reports. The optional questions and prompts keep me on track--and just a quick response is all that's needed. I appreciate the option to make additional comments private (if preferred) for only my manager to see. Also, helpful reminders in my inbox include a convenient link that takes me directly to the page where I need to be. An email (with the link) also notifies me when my manager has reviewed my submission. Cons I'm a little confused about where the High Fives are collected and who can see them. I believe it is an excellent tool to use versus the normal quarterly/annually professional conversations that get lost with word vomiting and "I did x,y and z". It provides amazing depth and context about each individual who uses it and helps develop soft/hard skills for those not familiar in using software such as this. Pros It's extremely easy to navigate and use. I really appreciate the reminders to complete my weekly analysis. The tips that guide you in the software are a nice touch. Cons I feel like the aesthetic is pretty juvenile. Not big on the fonts and color selection. It takes 5 mins to go through this with you Line manager ahead of your 1x1 and keeps you focused. You can also maintain contact with people outside your team and recognise their efforts towards the completion of and organisational objective through the use of high fives. Cons The High five wall. It turned the High Five into a "brownie point" scheme and people would scramble to get as many as possible to be in top position making the High Five unauthentic. Review Source CH Colin H. I also love the 'High Five' feature as it allows everyone to celebrate other's accomplishment in such a casual way. It gives me the ability to listen to my employees on topics they may not feel comfortable opening up about in person. Cons I have some trouble navigating how to change the individual questions for my employees. Cons The reporting does not allow the level of control necessary to run detailed reports. I would like to see a way to adjust the exact dates that you are running the report or asking a question. It gives you a voice and it makes you prioritise your objectives. Cons my least favourite item on the software is the question about 1 thing to improve role, team performance. Pros Ease of use, good page layout, good customer support! Cons Sometimes fields are required where I don't have anything to report in that category for that week. It never got in the way of my day to day work routine. It also helped keep communication open between employees and management. Pros The feedback feature has a clean and simple UI. 15Five makes the whole process seamless and I never felt that it got in my way during office hours. Cons I only ever had one instance where there was a glitch while submitting feedback. Needless to say that day I lost quite a bit of information.
