### "15 Five - Best platform to set goals and get motivated"

15Five is a very good platform to express our self with Team Leader/manager/VP. We can think about how previous week went , what are the challenges faced, about Achievements (may be small or big). These thinks really makes us relax. We can get good advises from the team, manager or VP, which really makes us motivated. Its really very easy to communicate with our team members, managers, or VP. The favorite part is High Five, I just loved it!..It really encourages to achieve more, as well it will recognizes our efforts. The main advantage of High Five is we can stay connected with whole organization:-)

Pros

There are so many new things I learnt being at 15 Five. Very good platform to think what happened whole week, which really makes me relax and motivates to do better for coming weeks. Will get advise/solutions if I am facing any challenges. When we mention problems and get solution for it, we can also help others when they faces same challenges. By High Five, Learnt how to appreciate efforts as well as Achievements (may be small or big). Thank you 15 Five.

Cons

To be honest, I didn't find any cons. Keep up the good work!

### "Really Intuitive Recognition Tool - Fun And Easy To Use!"

We love 15Five! We use our 15Five metrics to support many discussions around the org., good or bad. It's a practical way for us to see a glance of our culture, recognize our employees and also keep our projects moving.

Pros

"How are you feeling?" feature does a great job keeping track of the pulse on our culture and overall employee satisfaction as a company. High Fives are a brilliant way to keep our team motivated! In fact, we use this feature to fuel who chooses lunch for us on Fridays! Really love that I get to keep track of my objectives in the tool as well. Good way to keep me honest about my progress. The weekly reminders and reports that are emailed are super helpful!

Cons

None at this moment. Keep doing what you're doing!

As a manager, I love the weekly 15:Fives I get from my employees, and the company cohesion that comes from controlled questions and talking points. My direct reports and I love feeling like our struggles, victories, thoughts, and ideas are all communicated, heard, and documented.

Cons

Some menus seem to be too many clicks... structuring the "anatomy" of the UI into dropdowns like an "outline" might make the organization of the program's features easier to understand.

For the average manager, this is an irreplaceable tool to streamline your 1:1's.

Pros

15Five affords the average manager the ability to clearly convey and collect information about daily progress from her reports. Especially as more teams are more remote than ever, clearly communicating during 1 on 1's is incredibly important. This is the tool to do so with ease.

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve and adoption effort needed to train new reps in the methodology and use.

My overall opinion of 15Five is that it makes companies and upper management consider the mental health and well-being of their employees. It also makes me stop and think about how I am feeling and gives me a tool to be able to articulate and communicate my own thoughts and feelings. My experience with 15Five has been positive and resulted in improving my workplace relationships.

Pros

It's simple and easy to use. It only takes a few minuets to complete the survey. It prompts me to consider any concerns or challenges I find in the workplace and offers me the opportunity to share that with my manager. It also gives me to ability to thank the people who have had a positive impact on my week.

Cons

I'm not sure if I like the questions about my life outside of work. Sometimes it's difficult to share personal challenges with your manager.

Most of the prevailing performance appraisal methods are designed for the earlier way of working, non existing jobs, and most importantly not for the Millennials. So what else we can do? This is a question many forward looking companies must be asking and the answer is 15 Five. When somebody is not performing, we need not wait for a quarter or a half year or a year to find that the employee is not performing and to arrive at a conclusion that he/she require improvement. Real time feedback is what we require to improve the performance of any employee. 15 Five is really helpful to solve this problem and recommend for any organisation with a will to keep their people happy, productive, stay relevant in their business.

Pros

Easy to use No training is required to begin using Simple on-boarding Effective reminders Once again overall UX is great

Cons

Nothing much, May be pricing would be a concern for some emerging economies like India Other language support also can be a concern

We are a startup with a small team working remotely from several countries. For us it's a challenge to align the team and keep everybody focused on what matters. 15Five is the solution we found! We started organizing our team around OKRs, which can be easily defined and monitored in 15Five. And we also use 15Five to submit weekly reports, which is also a great feature from 15Five!

Pros

What I like the most about 15Five is that it makes it easy to put into practice important managerial concepts and methods that have robust scientific foundations. I decided to use 15Five after reading John Doerr's book "Measure what matters", about OKRs and Continuous Performance Management, which are corroborated by organizational/system theories and behavioral economics. And 15Five is a tool to put all that into practice in an easy way.

Cons

I think that an important improvement could be to add "initiatives" as part of the Key Results. This way it could get easier to organize the effort to achieve the Key Results.

Reason for choosing 15Five

Better usability and design, and reasonable price.

Pros

I like the reminders about my 1-on-1s and the detailed performance review. The performance review really made me dig deeper into my time at the company and encompassing all of my progress in one place. It was slightly challenging to compose my progress into one place but totally worth it!

Cons

The "to do" reminders are a little anxiety inducing but that's just because we report this information through ClickUp and it is just another place to put this information at. Although, that is an organization based issue.

Pros

As an IC at my company, I love the tool for keeping my manager informed on my progress, as a guideline for 1-on-1s, and as a peer review and self review/planning tool. Easy to use, great UI, and dare I say...almost "fun"? The high five feature where you can recognize your coworkers for great work is also awesome.

Cons

I can't think of anything currently. It's been a joy to use and I've experienced no bugs, problems, or issues.

15 five is the best manager for any organization that wants to progress. the main reason being that it is very easy to use since it is not complicated hence anyone can use it. 15 five is majorly focused on promoting teamwork,accountability,efficiency and effectiveness of every member hence promoting team work

Cons

15 five is the best software even though there are a few challenges i have faced when using iy. these are:lack of flexibility ,i just wish there was a way you could automatically upload data to avoid the many human errors associated with manual input,maybe due to forgetting and mixing of information which are common human errors. the other problem is inflexible approvals which i tend to understand is for security purposes ass they must be careful with who they partner with.

Pros

I like the ability to add questions with different answer requirements. Sometimes they are yes/no questions, some are rating scale questions, some are numerical questions, in addition to the classic words-only questions.

Cons

The tool isn't as useful as I was hoping in regards to keeping documentation on what your superior feels about your responses. For example, when I was trying to complete my annual self-assessment, I was hoping to be able to use some of my 15Five responses as guidance but I soon realized that all of the commentary was from me to him.

Pros

1\. Helps me to organize my work better 2. Setting priorities every week means prevent the possibility of missing important stuff undone 3. Helps me to stay on-course and get things done 4. Records are kept for my review and reflection 5. Easy to communicate ideas to my director or my team members instantly without waiting for formal meetings or doing big emails.

Cons

1\. The week comes too quickly and if I was not able to finish what I set for previous week (s), it becomes repetitive 2. It takes time to review and comment on staff submission, and I envisage that to be demanding when a manager has more direct reports

One thing you can consider doing is leaving comments with your priorities to indicate to your manager that you're making progress on tasks, but still have work to do. ### "Great tool, but not a silver bullet"

Pros

It's really easy to use and the app takes care of itself. We only set it up once and the data starts coming in. Employees really seem to share more of their personal thoughts via an app than they do face to face. We got more sincere opinions this way and we got them earlier.

Cons

15five will not change much in your company, if you do not have a plan on how you are going to use it. It's like buying a weight loss book, just buying and reading won't do the trick. You have to have an idea of which information you are looking for and why it will be useful to you. One problematic aspect is that the 15five answers are never deleted, which is not good for company-employee trust. And when selecting 15five questions, it is better to choose concrete, specific questions and to abstain from wide, philosophical questions like "what is your greatest/biggest this or that / what always makes your day".

Pros

I like how simple and easy it is to use and how great it has been for our team dynamics. It has greatly improved our one on one meetings. We can articulate our thoughts with our supervisors and subordinates without the pressure of them being in the room. Then because we already about the issues, we can talk about them without the awkwardness. 15five allows for honest and clear communication which is crucial for a successful organization.

Cons

I like the ability to change up questions and interact with scales, numbering questions and such. there are no cons that I can think of.

The idea behind this software is great. Continual feedback is the new big thing and this software does a great job of delivering a method to encourage ongoing feedback.

Cons

The software is not very flexible. They have their idea of the way things should be done and the questions to be asked and there isn't much wiggle room to deviate from that.

When I am telling friends and family and Uber drivers about where I work one of the first things I mention is that we have an application in place that allows for amazing communication on a weekly basis to upper management. The fact that we use 15Five is one of the most valuable things that our company does in my opinion.

I would have to say the color. I just dont like orange.

Our bussiness problems were that we weren't measuring our goals, not even documenting them, but 15Five got hat for us, I really liked the fact of having the reports and the OKRs at hand, but never really used the recognition part of the app.

Pros

What I loved the most were the status reports, aka 15Fives. Even though I started using de platform only for their OKR options, I turned my attention to the reports.

Cons

I don't know why, but my coworkers didn't got the ability to use the platform. They always forgot where the options where, and they were pretty confused about how to use it.
