We have used Activity Hero for more than 6 years and will continue using. AH is very helpful and provide immediate support whenever I have a question Cons Everything has been good, no cons. The only thing I could think of may be, there are some other features I am not familiar with using. August 30, 2022 5.0 Overall, I think working with Activity Hero has been a great experience. They are incredibly responsive and quick to help with any concerns or problems that arise. Ultimately for me, the issues have been few and far between - and anything that might've been a bigger problem for us was solved by the incredible support rep we have (shout out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] !). Pros Activity Hero is fairly easy to use and understand once you start with it - but I want to emphasize just how helpful the customer service aspect has been with Activity Hero. We have our own individually assigned representative who we can reach out to whenever we have questions or concerns. Our rep has been fantastic. She is quick to respond, goes above and beyond to offer help, and is so wonderful to interact with. I know that if I ever have any issues I can reach out to our Rep and she is on it. I am so grateful for the personalized care and attention that we receive! Cons One of my old cons would have been not having any sort of check-in feature - but AH has taken this in stride and recently created this as part of their software. I think one issue I have found a few times is that the parent who registers their child for camp or program is sometimes erased from that camper's profile - and the secondary parent is the only one who appears. I think it would also be neat if there was an option to print ONLY the approved pick-up list names. I like how easy it is to view registrations and gather enrollment information. Pros It’s easy to use and beginner friendly. It’s fairly easy to publish camps and classes using this sales platform. Cons The percentage it takes from sales is a bit high but similar to other platforms. I think there is a tiny bit of the publishing process that could be improved. Review Source LO Laura O. They believed in me when I was just an entrepreneur with a wild business idea, and they worked to help me focus my vision. Their tech support has been consistent and timely, and they have proactively contacted me to provide resources. They partnered with me for the last eight years, to grow my business dream into a lucrative reality. Pros This software has many features, and I have not explored them all. The ones I use include Registration, Session Management and Payment Reports. Registration is a good feature, with automatic inclusion of Waivers for photo permission and risk acknowledgement. Cons In Registration, there is too much redundant information, such as the entire location, each and every day with times listed, ages accepted, etc. This creates much text for each participant, and can clutter the screen. Also, naming sessions is a bit clunky. It's a bit unclear what will appear under which heading, and I often have to "publish" and then edit, as I have not figured out how to view before publishing. You would see the session information repeated if the report is generated for more than one session, but if you filter down to one session/week, it will eliminate that column from the report. Pros ActivityHero was developed from the ground up by a team with exceptional familiarity with day camp operations. We had worked with ActivityHero ten years ago when their product was purely a camp listing service, and were among their launch clients for implementation of online enrollment functionality. We selected ActivityHero from three competing platforms primarily due to the seamless functionality of the platform. Other solutions we looked at were originally developed for activities other than day camp registration and enrollment management, and it showed. The ActivityHero team has always been responsive to our requests for changes, and over the years has faded into the background in the best possible way as it simply exists as an integral part of our day camp operation through every part of the season. Cons Implementing tracking codes to enable online promotional campaigns to follow prospects through to the point of registration has been a bit of a process in the past. I’m really blown away by such quality commitment and want to say thank you for having the best possible customer service team and registration service. We’re amazed by how much new business comes from ActivityHero's marketing efforts. This has become a one stop shop for me since I started using this software. It takes care of sales and marketing, email campaigns, parent communications, payment engine, enrollment platform, reporting and analytics and great customer support. The adoption of this tool help me focus on my core business operations. The customer support is super helpful and prompt.
