Pros: Most of it's easy to use, nice to be able to use it as mobile. Nice Dashboard to see what's going on when you log in to use it.

Cons: Kind of complicated for more advanced things. Some basic features that would make storage management run smoother are missing or they have yet to implement them. An example: A tenant with 2 accounts and 2 different units needing to be combined as 1 tenant with both units must be completely moved out of one unit and moved into it under whichever account you want to use, this also changes the history line on payments etc. (Having 2 accounts for the same person in the first place is your own clerical error)

Also would like more flexibility on late fees etc.

Pros: Pretty idiot-proof for most users. Makes automation easy, especially when working off-site. It's easy to print or send reports.

Cons: No calendar integrations for mobile users. I sometimes have to look up how to accomplish small tasks. Reports could be improved.

I really like the ease of use with this product.

Pros: The product is easy to navigate, screens are easy to read. Payment processing is very simple and easy to follow. Renting units is a breeze.

Cons: The help window can be a bit difficult to use. Some questions are never answered. Sometimes you get incorrect information if you do not list your catagorie specifically.

Overall: As a connected company, the software makes it easy to make sure that all facilities are on the same page. Reports are easy to read.

Good, on the way to great storage software.

Pros: I LOVE the ability to send SMS messages to tenants, confirm that tenants have read & opened our e-mails, and record phone calls for quality assurance and general information. The software is great about taking the long-hand math and guesswork out of pro-rating tenants, figuring out transfers, etc. The promos feature is great and allows for the user to set up a variety of rental promotions that you can use at time of move-in or even for existing customers. Finally, the auction sales interface is awesome!

Cons: I would hope in the future the ability to e-mail a tenant directly from the software will be implemented. I also look forward to improved print-batching functionality. If a tenant does not have an alternate contact ( which CA requires that IF a tenant has an alternate a legal notice must be sent to them as well. ) then a letter for the non-existent alternate contact should not be generated.

Overall: Enhanced communication abilities with tenants in the form of SMS messaging, enhanced auction-sales experience for both buyers and the facility manager. Enhanced lead tracking and rental promotion options.

Storedge has been user-friendly and very helpful to the management of our storage units.

Pros: I like the ability to look up units by tenant name or by unit name, as well as the ability to upload tenant documents.

Cons: The home interface could be more user-friendly; in addition, it is hard to find the contact information of the storage unit business itself.

Essentially the software does exactly what they advertise that it does.

Pros: VERY easy and simplified interface. the software flows and makes it easy to figure out how to do something even if you're brand new to the program.

Cons: It needs a few more functions to make it perfect. for example, if you could link a work email to the storEDGE program instaed our microsoft outlook, Also a way to attach paperwork or notifications to group or mass emails from the storEDGE software, additionally, if it automatically auto filled out names and dates and prices to personalize t letter for each customer.

Pros: having online access makes it easy to view our data from anywhere. it was very easy to train others to use as well.

Cons: Missing a few features that would be helpful, like being able to customize more reports and add and edit more forms more easily.

Was hard to get use to at first, navigation can be confusing!

Pros: Software looks very professional, I like the easy switches from store locations, and I also like that it gives us "tasks", helps me stay on track & organized!

Cons: Not being able to change the price on just a certain unit is frustrating! And the "writeoff" feature should be easier!

Pros: Easy to use. Plain language that is understandable. Not a lot of unfamiliar jargon. I use the reports and they're all in one place.

Overall: Much easier to use that prior software. Simple and to the point. Has never crashed.

Storedge is very easy to use and the customer service is wonderful.

Pros: The task list bar is what I like the most about this software. It's my own to do list and it makes my job easier.

Cons: What I like least about the software is not being able to give someone an estimated total of what they would be paying per month without actually going through the move in process.

Pros: auto billing is very handy the auto posting is a nice feature and the late charged automatically done is wonderful

Cons: trying to correct a mistake with a credit card can be a night mare you have to call to correct an error

Overall: It has made management of the storage easier

StorEDGE has been very easy to use and their customer service is great, very quick to respond.

Pros: It is simple to use, you can change it to work for your particular business. The customer service is always knowledgeable and easy to reach.

Cons: The storage unit map is not super user friendly. You always have to zoom out and it never shows the complete property at one time.

Pros: The late fees are easier to process. I like very much that we can text the tenants now. I like the close of day now. It is a lot easier to do the deposits and I'm secure that they are correct.

Cons: The glitches. Lots of glitches. It is very hard to fix mistakes made. We have to doctor the closings because sometimes its the only way to fix it.

Still getting use to the software, customer support has been great!

Pros: The dashboard & reports are easy to read & informative at quick glance. Questions, concerns or problems are generally resolved in 24 hrs or less.

Cons: No prorate rates published prior to move in screen, it would be ideal to add to the "filtered units by group report"

Overall: Texting our customers!

Great team that has built a great program, but still has some bugs to work out.

Pros: The software is very easy to use, I like the ease of moving customers in and out as well as transferring customers. the reports are great and easy to use, and I like that we are able to do everything completely paperless.

Cons: The few bugs that haven't been worked out such as the ability to give refunds via credit cards doesn't work and it doesn't let me delete refund requests

Overall: The ability to go completely paperless. It saves time due to the ease of use.

Pros: I love how easy the system is to use. Not only that, but it is aesthetically pleasing as well. It's clearly on trend and looks up to date. I like how simple it is to navigate through the tasks bar and to find tenant information. On top of all of that, customer service is ALWAYS AMAZING. They are knowledgeable and if they do not know that answer right away, they are quick to find someone who does. I have never had a poor experience with customer service. They are kinda, respectful, patient, and overall wonderful people I enjoy asking for help whenever I need it. They made the transition into my current position as smooth as possible. I simply cannot rave about the customer service enough.

Cons: I know they are working on it right now, but the biggest lacking I can find is not having the ability to email our tenants mass custom emails. We have to create an email list ( which the system allows us to do) but then use a third party website to send mass emails to update tentants. I hope this features comes soon.

Customer support at Storedge is amazing they are always so patient and kind.

Pros: It's all web-based making it easy to log in from anywhere and since I can upload customer documents i don't have paper files to maintain.

Cons: I feel that a demo with storedge over certain features would be helpful in the training process. I know there is a help section that has a lot of information however I still have a hard time with implementing certain features.

Pros: Ease of mobility between screens is nice. Close of day is very easy which is also nice. So far I like just about everything with the new software.

Cons: So far only thing has been during switch over it did not import any second numbers names or drivers license any of that info. So having to add all the info to every account is a pain but once done should be a breeze!

The transition to StorEdge has been great

Pros: Great integrated capabilities: Price management, pay on line, mail house and excellent document management. It is extremely simple to manage the day to day operations and the reports are excellent.

Cons: The on-line help could be better. There is a ton of on-line documentation but it doesn't always address all the issues. However the telephone phone support is excellent.

Overall: Tremendous cost and time savings related to everything from managing the customer experience to the operating metrics.

Great to keep track of the different Profit Centers and post them into Quick Books.

Comments: Overall I have been very satisfied with the customer service and the product. I recommend it.

Pros: I have an RV Park with Self Storage. Essentially two different business. I needed a program that could separate the revenue by profit center. This program has worked without any hassle at all.

Pros: The support team was incredibly helpful for the switch over! We love the ability to text customer and that emails are saved right in each account. The ability to upload documents to the account is very handy.

Cons: Some parts of the software are set up logically but not from the stand point of a property manager. For a multi location company the reporting is very time consuming as you have to switch from location to location then go through the entire process of pulling each report. For all business summaries there is no way of totaling all locations.

Pros: the simplicity of the overall program, moving in a new tenant is super easy, checking on a tenant, adding new information, it's all pretty quick and easy once you learn how it's done!

Cons: really do not have any as i'm just learning it, so far everything, once i was shown how to do it comes very easy.

Overall: how quick it is customers are in and out and that is what they want and we are here to make our customers happy!

storEDGE has been a breeze using. I highly recommend this software.

Pros: The ease of being able to see and find all that I need on the "dash" and the developers are always available to listen to our ideas, as it is us managers who use the software daily.

Cons: I can't think of any con's to tell you the truth. Using this software has been a pleasure. Like I said, if we think of any new feature, just tell a developer and it won't be too long until it is rolled out.

Transitions can be exciting and stressful, but the StorEdge experience has left me without concern!

Pros: It's honestly a composition of little features that make the job easier. I LOVE that StorEdge allows you to see if a tenant has opened/read an email notification that has been sent; much like a read receipt. Additionally, the online payment and account management feature has been a fantastic new option that both myself and my customers enjoy. The online payment feature has allowed tenants to update and manage their auto pay settings as well. This is a wonderful amenity for customers because they're not forced to take the time out of their busy schedules to make it by during office hours, they can manage and update their payment preferences at their convenience. It's also fantastic how automated many tasks are such as emails, SMS notifications, auto pay withdrawals and most late fees. None of those even require the click of a button to execute the task, which enables the management staff to focus on other business necessities. The StorEdge program allows you to customize and tailor the features to your business! Not having to remember to post date payments after a bank deposit is amazing! StorEdge will automatically take any payments made after your "close of day" bank deposit report and add them to the next deposit cycle. Last but not least, if you're ever feeling lost, StorEdge support staff is always quick to respond and happy to help find a solution to your inquiry.

Cons: Please note that the following statements are more like suggestions than complaints: It would be great to add a very obvious way to "flag" an account. For example "don't accept checks", do not rent to", etc. There already is a place to note it, but a more conspicuous notification would be quite helpful since there are multiple staff members operating the software in one office. The only other suggestion I have is in regards to the sale/auction process. It would be great if there was a way to type in the description of items being sold rather than hand writing it on the notice of sale. The second observation is by no means an issue, I just feel it would look cleaner if the items listed for sale came out printed on the document.

Overall: There are a lot of great little features that really make an impact. Many of the rent courtesy notices, late reminders, auto pay withdrawals and even most late fees are automated which frees up a lot of time enabling management staff to focus on other business necessities. I think the best aspect is that StorEdge offers so many great amenities that can be tailored to each individual business based on their needs so you're not forced to use a default setting.

Pros: We really enjoy the online access for customers that allows them to make payments without having to call or come in, the printable facility maps have been helpful as well.

Pros: Ease of use getting new tenants in. Taking payments is fast. Printing reports makes easy to spot errors and correct them quickly

Pros: Easy move ins and outs. Notes are easy to read for each tenant. I like how you can take a payment for each individual unit.

Cons: Would like tenants name to auto populate on the payment screen. The tutorials are a little fast so had to watch several times.

Comments: Need help with web page user friendliness. Other storage franchise software is leading in the customer user friendliness in my assessment.

Pros: Great service. Quick updates. Lots of features. Nice management summaries and other reports. Would love if it could include some transaction links to bank accounts to replace quick books completely.

Cons: Needs a little more flexibility to help trailor web pages to the uses. Falling a little bit behind in rental customer user friendliness. E.g. Grouping of units. Would like indoor, outdoor, climate. But groupings seem to float by size. E.g. The map feature doesn't allow text orientation adjustments. I. Fact it defaults to cross unit/cell short-wise so can't read unit numbers until fully zoomed.

Pros: Being able to see a tenants entire history and everything that goes along with a particular tenant. Payment history, tenant notes.

Cons: I wish for the ability to add a note to the tenants account from the past due page. I can view notes but would love to be able to add new note.

Overall: I have been using storEDGE since June of 2016. The ease of locating the reports is wonderful. Moving tenants in and seeing their account and the entire history is all put together very nicely. The one thing that I also am enjoying is their customer service, and the fact that they listen to our ideas.

Cons: not so mobile friendly. transition to the software was not seamless.

Overall: Storedge makes it really simple to see where my facility at any given time. I can see all my delinquents, my percentage occupied, who has been contacted, etc., all from the front page. What makes it even better is that I can see all of that information from any device that has access to the internet. Since the entire platform is web based, I can even charge payments remotely and update gate codes, if necessary. The only hiccup was during the transition, where payments were going to my old software. I do not know if anyone out there has a great checklist or process for transitioning software platforms, but there always seems to be SOMETHING that goes wrong. Storedge is easy to get a hold of and the software is straight forward to use. I particularly like that all communication is easily monitored between management and tenants using the software and that you can mark units as needing to be cleaned or repaired. All in all, it was a good switch.

Recommendations to other buyers: talk to as many people as possible about creating a checklist for transitioning software.

Comments: Very good system. Very fool proof. Good reports. Professional appearance. Very responsive customer service. Friendly knowledgeable customer service from headquarters. Not overseas.

Pros: Ease of use and fully integrated operation.

Cons: The specific gate hardware required and no way to shut off code entry by customers if you don't have a compatible solution. Big oversight.

Comments: The majority of my experiences with this software have been really good.

Pros: I like how easy it is to use, I also really like the fact that they record and store any phone calls that were made. It's nice to have a history of that to go back to when needed.

Cons: I don't like that you can't enter a date when entering a payment. Sometimes we receive payments on time, but they do not get entered until another day due to certain circumstances. Overall: When we first started, we were running Storage Commander for our 2 facilities. There were a lot of hang-ups we were having, so when we bought a third site, we new we needed a change. We tried StorEdge out for the new site and quickly realized that it was everything we wanted. With the promise of a facility map and other changes (which have been made and they are sweet!) We switched over a total of 3 sites and 700+ units to StorEdge with hardly any snags. We are very pleased with the software and the developers who are constantly looking for new ways to improve and make the interface more all-inclusive and user friendly. Thank you for always listening, looking for solutions to any problem that comes up, and having a kick-butt team!

Pros: We like that it is web based, and that we can usually access it from anywhere. This software is really easy to use, and it looks really nice. We also really like the setup for giving refunds when they move out. It makes it really easy becuase the software prorated it for us, and we can either credit back to their credit card, or send a check. We also like that you are continually working on it to make it better.

Cons: There have been times when the software has shut down for a few hours during the day. It makes it hard because when it is web based like that and the website is down, we have no way to help our customers when they come in. Also there have been some glitches were it will randomly change a customer's rate up or down, it confuses both us, and our customers.

Overall: We have had some problems along the way, but the customer support is usually good to work with. Lidia has been a huge help when ever we have called. The software is fairly easy to use. There are times where the software is down for a few hours during the day, and it creates an inconvenience for us, but overall we are fairly satisfied.

Comments: We opened for business in May of 2016 and are already approaching capacity. storeEDGE did an amazing job building a website that has quickly generated organic SEO driving customers to our business. The integration of the phone calls to storeEDGE makes it seamless for us to add leads and track them through our sales funnel. Overall: I am not a computer savvy person; I wasn't raised with computers, so I tend to struggle or move slowly on them. I have found that StorEdge has been very helpful and easy to learn. Once you figure out how to get to various things it is pretty easy move around through windows. It looks good and it does its job. I am just an employee, so I don't deal with Customer Service often, but my Manager says they are great and I am not sure how much it costs, but from what I can tell it is very encompassing. The only reason I reduce a star on the ease of use is because if you have a window open and you click outside of it (which being horrible at computers I do often) it closes the window and you have to start all over. I am getting better at not clicking outside the windows, but I am slow at typing, so it can be frustrating to have to redo work. I would recommend this program for anyone who is rough around the edges with computers like me!

Cons: Reporting - There is not enough customization in reporting. Customer invoicing and statements are a bit confusing when prorating is being done (the daily, prorated rate does not show up, only the regular monthly amount, followed by the prorated TOTAL. It does not show the customer how we came up with that total).

Overall: After extensive searching for a software to help automate and organize our storage facility, I finally choose StoreEdge. Our facility is a bit non conventional in that we have a warehouse and storage vaults, and some customers may have multiple Vaults (units), so adapting the software to our specific needs was a little challenging, but the tech support was great! They helped me through the whole process, showing me ways to adapt the software to meet our needs. I still have issues with the software that are very annoying, but this is directly related to the way we do business and not the software itself. They are constantly doing updates and bug fixes and I have already seen changes and additions to the software that were suggested when we first signed on. The reporting features are good but would like to see more customization in reporting. Overall, I feel we get a great value for the money.

Overall: As an employee of The Storage Mall, we use Yardi as our software as we switched directly before the new software management came out. Once my father and I bought our own facility, I decided to try out the facility management software with StorEDGE because I liked the idea of a built in rental center. Now that I am using both Yardi and StorEDGE on a consistent basis for both companies, there is easily no comparison: StorEDGE blows the other providers out of the water. I am extremely happy that we made the switch and I am hoping to someday switch the other company over. I love the ease of connecting from online and not having to worry about downloading an application. The ability to pull up tenant information right from my phone is awesome., especially when I am not in the office. Also, the fact that we can E-sign from an iPad or through email has made our life extremely easy. There are definitely some small glitches here or there with this software being so new, but it is corrected in a timely manner that has never been a problem. Overall, very happy.

Overall: My favorite thing about storedge is that I am able to see right when I open it, how my facility is doing. The fact that while it is tied to a specific computer (for gate purposes), the software can be accessed from any computer via the web. The look and feel of storedge is very easy to navigate and use. While I have had some issues with the conversion process from my previous software, the storedge customer support was there to help.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you get all the information necessary from your previous software. Namely, know when your auto draft payments are run every month. Notes have to be copied manually.

Comments: I am using your software at least 40 hours a week. I like your software, it's easy to use, but it is very black and white. I know what it is I need to do, but do don't have the ability to do so. I have to go in setting and change things around to get my payments apply the correct way. If the invoice is wrong I have to email your company to get it fixed. That make's no sense, when I'm capable of doing the correction myself. Then I have to wait a day for the corrections, which put my work on hold. Your software is based on what people should do, but they don't. Going in and our of screens when a customer is waiting it a pain for them. For the most I think your software is excellent, except for the minor things that I can't do. It would be really great if it had an accounting side like quickbooks, that I could print deposit slips.

Comments: We are very happy we chose StorEdge for our software needs. It made our first experience running a storage facility go very well. We have been a customer for well over a year & have been very pleased with the company's willingness & ability to make changes to the software for the ease of the user. With their willingness to listen to what works for the user, the updates they have put in place have really made it very user friendly. The customer support team members are very knowledgeable & willing to address any problems we encounter. Love the ability our customers have to pay online & keep up with their acct through the portal. Invoicing is made seamless with email & text. Great system to keep up with customer accts!

Pros: Modern interface, and ease of use. Autopay with credit card billing. And with our website integration, their tenant portal is very useful!

Cons: On occasion the storEDGE site may be unavailable for 5-10 minutes, but it's usually fixed very quickly. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often.

Overall: We have been using storEDGE for close to eight months now and it's been great. We were looking for a web-based program having been with the standalone version of sitelink for 8 years and did a lot of comparisons between both sitelink and storEDGE's online offerings. We decided to go with storEDGE and it's been great. The set-up was effortless, and they took care of the whole process.

Once we were up and running, anytime we have a question we can call and their Customer Service reps are more than happy to help us out and take care of whatever issue we're having or walk us through whatever part of the software we're having trouble with. They always answer the phones ready to help and without any attitude!

And lastly, the software itself is very modern and easy to use. Being web-based, we're able to have the program running on both computers at the same time in our office which is great, as well as our office iPad. And one thing I really loved was that the team at storEDGE seems to release updates and tweaks about every couple weeks to keep things running smooth and introduce new features to the software. We chose to have them build our website as well, so our storEDGE management software integrates perfectly with the website they built to allow for even more features!

I really can't say enough great things about storEDGE, it really is a great solution for those looking to move to a web-based software platform.

Recommendations to other buyers: When I was researching which software to go with, I was able to demo the storEDGE software and it really helped being able to play with the features a bit and see how everything worked.

Pros: Professional and easy to work.

Cons: So far if someone wants to rent multiple units it would be easier to do them all at the same time.

Overall: We opened our new storage project on Oct. 21. Before we have owned office, retail and a small amount of storage space. We use Quickbooks. I have also been in the billboard business but sold my inventory two years ago. I have been a small business owner for over 20 years. My son recommended StorEdge and so far it has been a good decision. We are also operating our gate (DoorKing) with StorEdge, but that is only starting later this week.

Comments: Switched from stand alone desktop management system (from the industry leader) when we took over this facility. StorEdge product seemed to be best choice given our plans for the facility. We were looking to run this property remotely a good portion of the time as well as streamline all the office functions. A web based system was a must have in our eyes because of the need to manage remotely. Having the ability to combine the management system, website setup/design and online payment was also important as we wanted to drive occupancy and rates up quickly. StorEdge customer service is always quick to respond to queries and provide resolutions. We may quibble with StorEdge over what change or improvement should be given high priority but overall very pleased with their dedication to maintaining a friendly ecommerce experience for the tenant and operator. Newest upgrade of having customers Esign their move in documents is great for smaller facilities that do not maintain office hours all week. Not quite a paperless system yet but moving closer.

Pros: The ease of use, user friendly and self explainatory. Not a huge learning curve.

Cons: Sometimes it applies late fee's when you don't want it too, but you can waive them.

Comments: Overall, from the beginning storEDGE has been excellent to work with! We're a new facility, and greatly appreciate the guidance and honesty on opinions and helpful tips in making our facility profitable and successful. Pros: It is easier to keep up with customers that are on our wait list as well as moving people in.

Cons: Important Notes do not show as easily as the did with our old system. Even if you hit important note you still have to search in order to find it. I think it should be easier to add units when they first move in if they need more than one unit.

Overall: Over all store edge has not been to bad, there are a few things that could be better and easier to do.

Recommendations to other buyers: Fix it so that we do not get kicked out if it thinks there are to many people on the software.

Overall: Have problems with system freezing because of to may people on line. Other than that theer are not problem. I did have a problem when I reserved a new tent it placed it on another account even though I enter it as a new customer

Overall: Most of the features that we need are there, but there are still other missing or bugs that are quite annoying and get in the way of doing business from time to time. Overall a good modern web app.

Recommendations to other buyers: Adding a feature to show all customers on a map (i.e. Google maps) would be a very helpful feature. Website editing and reporting features need a lot of work.

Cons: It can't babysit my five kids, but I guess I can't really blame them for that.

Overall: Working with the StorEdge team is an absolute pleasure... their platform is already running circles around the competition and the margin is only going to widen from what I have seen.
We use them to run a fully automated self storage platform that utilizes the Janus SecurGuard lock. They are the only ones that can make the whole system actually function correctly!! Beware of other groups claiming the same thing- there is a lot more that goes into it than meets the eye!
Another amazing thing is StorEdge listens to their customers... I feel guilty at times for the onslaught of ideas I throw their way, but to their tremendous credit that have invested in and delivered far more of these ideas than I surely deserve! Do yourself a favor, give them a try..... (And no, they are not paying me to say this stuff! They are one of the few groups I would actually happily write a testimonial for!)

Recommendations to other buyers: If you go visit them, make sure they take you to their favorite barbecue joint... I still think about how good it was!
