October 25, 2017 4.0 Pros What I love most about Bullhorn is not only the easy interface but also their partnership with vendors. They have a marketplace that allows you find so many great tools to help your business and they all integrate with Bullhorn! Cons They have some things that are hard coded that I wish we could change. Also, they tend to tell customers about new features and give a date that it will be live but it usually takes longer than expected. For example, they said the new version would be rolled out in July and when I spoke to them about when we would be getting it they said it would be closer to December. Review Source Derek R. The CRM is a CRM for people who want to develop, maintain, and manage relationships with clients and candidates. The Bullhorn staff is always coming up with new and innovative ideas. The company does not sit still. They are attempting to do more, integrate more, and combine the interesting reality of automation and personal relationships. Pros The features of Bullhorn are excellent. The fields that can be customized and arranged per the user, the way work flow is presented and managed. The search tools are great. The task list and tearsheets are helpful. Cons The only con I can think of is the mass email function. When recipients get an email from a mass email, it might have "bullhorn" in the "from" portion of the email. Not a very helpful tool when it comes to built-in scheduling but we can still send out emails and communicate. I would use it to maintain a candidate database/inventory. Pros I used Bullhorn for almost 4 years. I love Bullhorn to maintain my talent pool and inventory. This is a great way of saving candidate Data and then accessing it whenever we need it. I can't even explain how much this has made my life easier in terms of searching for talent in the Bullhorn database if I am ever stuck and not able to find a candidate through any of the job boards. with just a could of searches, we can find a candidate we maybe spoke to 3 years ago who might be a good fit for a specific role. A great way to use and maintain data. A very good tool to generate reports as well/ Cons Not a very good ATS system. Doesn't give us the flexibility of scheduling candidates too much. I suggest that each company create an outline of what they want the system to do and what they want out of it, then customize it to get out of it what you need. Pros I really like the to really customize the software for each companies specific weants & needs. Cons I always felt the ability to search out specific candidates was lacking but that may be more of how my company used the system. Pros Bullhorn pulls candidates from job boards for us and allows us to move the candidates to eRecruiter easily. As a staffing company, it is very useful and makes our jobs easier so that we can get in touch with real candidates faster than ever. Pros Bullhorn was the easiest software I've used in Recruiting. I like it's ability to track and log activity and it's ease of reporting. I know what my call count is at all times and the number of calls I need to make to hit my number. The reminders are extremely helpful as well. Cons I have no complaints about the software. In today’s Business-to-Business (B2B), the communication isn’t limited to 1 on 1 conversation, it is now converted from one team to another team. So we are unable to record all the conversation, that’s why a concept had been aroused in form of Bullhorn so that we are able to record all the important information during conversations. It is very easy to use and is very efficient in its working. Variety of functions can be found here, mainly for searching and sorting information and for reporting data as well. The reason why I said it be one of the best it is just because it offers best customer service in the industry as well as get updates in every month. Here, you can post jobs easily and can set reminders. Lots of customization is also available here. Cons Even though it is a great software, if it provides more flexibility on a mobile device then it would have been great. Another tremendous problem is that it is very costly i.e. not affordable for everyone even if one wishes. That’s the only thing in which it lags the most!! However, Timeouts in times of active workings is quite cumbersome, so that should also be improved. Moreover, it causes a lot of glitches like will throw you out if parsing or updating of resumes is not done properly. It also has some difficulties and issues regarding tracking multiple branches, reporting due to tracking issues and many more. Review Source Bo K. The customer service was helpful and responsive. Cons Not very customization friendly, some forms that need mandatory fields should be able to managed by users. " June 16, 2018 4.0 I previously worked for a large staffing firm - we had a homegrown system that stinked. it was slow - would always crash and really demotivated you to want to log information. Bullhorn fixes that - the software is easy to work with and it works how it should. Pros How is links LinkedIn profiles to their pages within Bullhorn. And if I come across someone on linkedin - it tells me if they are in Bullhon. Also like that I can see if people have been "prescreened" and then look at those notes. Cons Logging of interviews - I don't like how it wants to send an invite for this. Additionally - I don't like that currently when I log in (my credentials are saved) I have to log in 3 times for them to actually take. Review Source Bre P. The ATS requires little to no training because it is so simple to use, but still has complex and detailed features. I am able to integrate Bullhorn with email, ring central, our video interview platform and various job boards so all work can be done on the system. Cons The Jobs / Opportunities part can be a little repetitive and complex. But just something to get used to! Bullhorn even allows for the ease of Resource Management with the ability to keep track of when projects are scheduled to end. The User Interface is very user friendly and intuitive. Configuring Bullhorn for the look and feel I want is also very simple. The functionality to be able to track emails to and from both candidates and hiring managers is a fantastic tool which helps in looking at history, both for future hires from hiring managers as well as to see interactions with candidates and employees in the past. Pros Excellent user interface with the ability to have various tabs on candidates so that different parts of the organization can see what they need. Tracking of emails with both Candidates/Employees as well as Hiring Managers/Client Contacts History is kept of progress through each job Candidates can be in the process for several jobs at once Search is very easy to find candidates in the database that match the job. This software is very OC in tracking candidates progress from pre-screen stage to placement. It is very detailed oriented in terms of documentation. You can send sms and emails inside bullhorn. You can manage tearsheets - allows you to sort candidates of the same profile in a group. It stores resumes of candidates and allows you to do sourcing as well plus there is a built in job board that allows you to access careerbuilder and monster. I have been used as a customer reference many times at Bullhorn. Pros Bullhorn is the most comprehensive, full-featured, PaaS for recruiting, especially if you're a Recruiting Agency like our firm. Our job board, Cloud VoIP and a host of other integrations make Bullhorn indispensable. User since 2008. Cons Bullhorn has only recently got the message that product support and customer success are as important as features and functionality. They have upped their game (albeit from a low base) and the results show it. They have only recently added an excellent Inbound Marketing integration (with SalesFusion) but the pricing is contact-based (like Mail Service Providers or other CRMs) so it's out of reach for most agencies, especially us with 465K contacts!
