### "Great CRM for Staffing Companies!"

Overall, Bullhorn is user friendly and easy to use.

Pros

I like that Bullhorn is easy to use. Adding candidates information and resumes is very easy. I like that each candidate profile has a spot for references.

Cons

I dislike that the CRM deletes your pinned candidates if you get logged out. I don't like that if you forget to pin someone their profile goes away.

Pros

Bullhorn has been one of the simplest ATS systems I have ever used! It's very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons

There have been continued issues with the internal reporting not reporting data accurately. The customer support team has yet to find a solution over months which requires cross checking reports and is tough to keep record of.

Pros

Fairly easy to use. I like that the list views are all the same. It's nice that there is always more than one way to do something in Bullhorn, that way is one way is not working there is almost always a workaround.

Cons

Price. the overall cost of Bullhorn is already high, but if you want to add any new feature it all separate and pricey! I also just heard that they are launching (have Launched ) Bullhorn Novo that seemed to have some really neat features but if you are on S then you would have to pay more to switch. and all the learning for BH if geared to Novo not S

Not suitable for small business

Pros

Good customer service support. Quick to respond Good looking interface Well marketed product (price of the product maybe attributed more to their marketing than innovations in the product itself)

Cons

Barely any significant innovations to the system over the last two years. Not worth price Most of the innovation happens through 3rd party integrations which cost a bomb and you are already paying an arm and leg for Bullhorn itself The billing team is incompetent. Billed me several times for the wrong Poor branded candidate report function (seems like they have not invested in innovating this for years) Don't sign a contract that doesn't give you the option to cancel yearly or anytime. They will make sure they get every penny out of you. No empathy to customers, no flexibility in the contracts. Also they will withhold your final backup data if the contractual obligations are not met.

Bullhorn is incredibly user friendly. The ability to click and drag files to upload keeps the process simple and parsing functions transfer key pieces of information into open fields.

Cons

When login information times out, it is possible to lose all pinned candidates in the active sidebar. This can be a bit of an inconvenience at times

When we go to send out a mass email to the industry it would be easier to attach a job description then copy paste in body.

Pros

I liked most the tagging feature within bullhorn that allowed me to tag my colleagues within note updates within candidate profiles, job orders, or client documentation notes. These came through in real time to our outlook emails so nothing was lost. It really helped keep people in the loop, including my management on my activity

I had used bullhorn before it's most recent upgrade to Novo. I didn't like how you couldn't search Keywords in just the notes section as it would bring up resume keywords too but I understand Novo has fixed this enhancement

### "Not intended for staffing agencies..."

Bullhorn, while great in concept, is lackluster in delivery. The Dashboard isn't customizable, the reports aren't customizable, and the search functionality is subpar at best. Correction, when I say these options aren't customizable, I mean they're not customizable for free. Bullhorn will be more than happy to charge you a ridiculous rate to create a customized option that doesn't exactly fit what you're asking for. Also, Bullhorn doesn't allow bulk uploads of resumes like many competitors do, the reporting on recruiting and sales activity isn't accurate or doesn't give you the information you're looking for. None of the data is the same throughout the system. On the submitted to AM page it will give you one number but if you run a report on submittals it will be different. Same with interviews, hires, etc. Bullhorn has apparently spent much of their subscription fees on the UI and completely ignored the functionality of the system. Also, if you're not listed as an account admin, their customer service won't talk to you without charging you a fee.

Pros

They have a pretty great annual party in Boston.

Cons

Just about everything else.

Pros

I liked Bullhorn database because it's super easy to use and user interface is awesome! I dont remember any dislikes about the function of this software. easy to track candidates and email blast option is great as well

Cons

probably the delay sometimes. and sometimes the system wont accept candidate's resume if you are parsing it from different job boards. or maybe that's only for selected candidates 1 out 10 maybe.

Pros

Very fast searches. Easy to use pathways to information. Good volume of information that can be stored and saved on each entry.

Cons

We had to change our company terminology to fit the software.

I'd like more out-of-the-box operational reports. It'd also help to streamline the data structure for notes and emails - we've struggled to create effective reports to monitor candidates falling out of contact because correspondence history lives in two places (notes and emails).

### "Everything works pretty well except the texting"

Pros

I like the layout and design of this platform. It works quickly and aside from the texting, has no real issues with the functionality. It offers an excellent advanced search. We run a small temporary staffing agency so radius search is very helpful for us.

Cons

The texting system opts candidates out constantly. If they accidentally send an image or blank text, it opts them out without them knowing. Sometime it will just opt them out when they respond to us for no apparent reason. We have to call them and explain the situation and ask them to turn it back on. We have reached out to support many times now and they insist that it will be fixed but we've been dealing with this for almost a year now.

Pros

CV parsing is good, but customer service is awful. there is no working relationship with Bullhorn. They will hold you to their mistakes.

Cons

slugging, level of customer service, hard to delete vacancies, very slow use on mobile and crashes often. Changed to Vincere, far superior and better value for money.

### "Most Robust ATS"

We utilize not only the CRM and ATS functions of Bullhorn but also, the time sheets and on-boarding tools in BH back office. Our previous ATS tool was very outdated and did not allow for any customization.

Pros

\- Utilizing all of the BH tools in one system allows for a seamless process flow between our departments. - You are able to customize the tool to match your process and terminology. - The tool is very user friendly and intuitive.

Cons

Bullhorn takes the feedback from their customers very seriously. Most of the updates and enhancements that they make to the tool come from suggestions from their customer base. I can't say that there is really any cons because typically when there is a pain point it is so quickly resolved.

Best CRM currently available for staffing. Keeps track of sales and candidates and consultants, which salesforce doesn't do without a lot of customization.

Cons

No robust reporting and several bugs per a month. The reporting is either canned or hard to do through canva.

Not only happy, but impressed, with this ATS.

Pros

Customer service has proved to be one of the main reasons I continue to be so happy with the Bullhorn product. I've spoken with numerous individuals for tech support and, while never having talked with the same person twice, have always enjoyed really great support - and even received ideas on thinking outside the box on how to utilize the ATS to best suit my specific needs. I'm also a big fan of the marketplace. Bullhorn, in my opinion, is teamed with some great partners which just strengthens its ease of access. I also like the periodic updates and videos that highlight changes to the interface or new features. There's a great ease of use that comes with this ATS and the customization is unlike any I've seen before.

Cons

Price wise it's more on the expensive side, but I'm happy to pay the amount given what I receive in return.

I like how easy it is to utilize the software. I use it daily to keep track of my candidates, including their journey through the life cycle from beginning to end. I like the functionality of the notes, the reports to see how I'm doing, and how easy it is to see everything in one place.

Cons

I wish it was more streamlined and easier to utilize tasks and tearsheets. I have trouble with looking at everything and staying organized with those functions.

### "Bullhorn Delivers on Agency Recruiting and CRM"

I reviewed a total of 6 systems before deciding on Bullhorn. All of them needed to be able to support CRM functionality since we are a small IT recruiting agency. A selected a total of 3 programs after going through demos. I received trial accounts on all 3 systems and Bullhorn was definitely the best equipped to handle our needs for both an ATS and CRM with many options to customize.

Pros

Love that it is fully customizable. You can edit field names, edit candidate workflows and disposition status, just about anything you need. I built an industry list and more, custom-tailored to our unique needs. Also, their \*customer support\* is available through many avenues and are VERY responsive.

Cons

Some of the things about the workflows are difficult to understand and take more time than they should (in my opinion). For example, In order to reject a candidate, you first need to Submit them to the job, EVEN THOUGH they already applied for that job. This seems counter-intuitive since they should already be associated with the job. However, submitting them to the job is different than submitting them to the client. When a candidate applies to a job, it is marked as a Web Response only. Still, doesn't make sense to me, but oh well. Also, to create a Job, you first need to create a Company record and a Contact record for that company. However, the information from those screens does auto-populate the subsequent screens, which helps save a bit of time.

Pros

I used this software for posting my jobs online. This helps make my requirements reach to maximum number of people who are online and makes my work easy. Can get some quick responses to the postings we do on Bullhorn.

Cons

This would be a great app if this has a feature of filtering the candidates with regards to the job posting. It allows all the candidates that are not relevant to the job to apply for the job.

Overall great product that gets the job done. In fairness I don’t have much experience with other CRMs but I don’t see a reason to ever switch.

Pros

The ease of use and ability to pick up the basics very quickly. Functionality and design across the platform allows users to benefit from the database from day one, which is very important during onboarding.

Cons

Sometimes the lack of customization was baffling but improved with the rollout of BH Novo. Also customer service isn’t the best, I felt like I knew more about BH, always very nice though.

Overall, I think that the software was effective and easy to use. The software had up-to date features that made the experience of using the software pleasant. There were no major functionality issues or downsides.

Pros

I used this software primarily for entering and submitting my time cards weekly--for this purpose, the software was great. It is simple to use and easy to understand how the different features function. I enjoyed the reminder emails that would automatically be sent every week to remind me to enter and submit my time. It was also great to be able to see all previous weeks' hours and history.

Cons

I honestly do not have anything that I do not like about the software. Sine I only used it for time keeping it worked well and there were never any functionality issues.
