### "Would Not Recommend, Not Efficient ATS"

For executive search firms, this system is not great. Seems like this product was not designed by people who were actually recruiters, there are so many more systems out there that are better. Don't waste your time with this one.

Pros

Nice customer support capabilities that can do demos with you and easy to parse resumes, but that's about it.

Cons

Search functionalities are very poor, very slow to load, takes me about 5 minutes just to get into this system. Not a lot that you can do in the system besides log notes and add candidates to the. Not good for CRM functionalities or tracking where candidates are in the pipeline for each job. Not efficient at all!

Easy and functional to use for direct hire and contract recruiting. Excellent features such as tear sheets, simple mass emailing, task lists, etc.

Cons

Tricky searching tool that can be a bit challenging at first, but truly gets easier with use and practice.

Pros

It's simple. I used this ATS/CRM at a previous company, so I stuck with it. You don't have to have a separate software like salesforce for the client mgmt.

Cons

Sometimes you have to login multiple times with your password. I don't have this problem with Wells Fargo or any other online passwords. Just bullhorn. Sometimes the automatic resume parsing icon doesn't work. It can be a little expensive for a basic account. One hundred a month is more then I pay for a premium Linkedin account. Tasks could me more streamlined to include fewer clicks to edit the date/time/etc. I got suckered into another year because of their 60 day cancellation requirement. If you don't notify them 60 days before your contract is up, your contract will automatically renew.

Pros

I've worked for several Recruiting Agencies with various tracking tools, I find Bullhorn quite user friendly - easy to navigate -lots of great options such as Tearsheets.

Cons

Bullhorn has a few bugs from time to time -usually fixed quickly. overall pretty good and our company customizes alot based on our needs

Pros

They are always coming out with new tools and features to help you be able to better manage and utilize your data. They are very transparent and you always know what tools are coming down the pipe.

Cons

Their customer support unless you are at the Enterprise level is not the best. Having customizations built by their professional services can take a long time to turn around. However, they allow those things to be outsourced to third parties.

### "Bullhorn ATS and BBO User"

Both the "Front End" (ATS) and "Back End" (BBO) of Bullhorn are incredibly intuitive.They have taken our recruiting experience to the next level. However, there is so much functionality that our users are not aware of. We may not be making the most of our investment.

Pros

Regarding the Front End / ATS: Speed - Bullhorn is lightning fast! Personalization - The fact that our users can customize their views and tracking is a wonderful and useful feature. Our recruiters can easily identify existing candidates in the database and match them up to the perfect jobs! Accessibility - We can access this software from almost anywhere! Regarding the Back End / BBO: Converting our New Hire documents into "electronic", fillable forms has been such an incredible benefit to our company. We have eliminated at least 75% of hardcopy paperwork.

Cons

There are so many options and uses for Bullhorn and I don't feel our company has been provided with enough training and tools to get the most out of this software. Also, the ability to customize reports is very limited (as to what information can be pulled, etc.). A Con on the BBO portion is that it is often glitchy.

Pros

I like a lot of the efficiencies that have been built in, binocular views for example, being able to do bulk tasks, notes. Anything that helps our producers work more effectively. Support is always great!

Cons

Certain features like not being able to pin multiple windows, not being able to search the same things on the same lists (searching addresses on candidates but not on submissions come to mind). Mobile product is seriously lacking :(

I think it's a good CRM option if you're looking for something other than Salesforce.

Pros

\-Great place to log and track customers company-wide -Saves time -Helps tremendously with organization -Exceptional customer service -User friendly for the most part -There is a "Task List" that is really beneficial for helping you keep track of what you need to do in x amount of time

Cons

\-Not a fan of the app - it's functionality is poor -Not all the tools that we use integrate with Bullhorn -They're constantly making "improvements" but the improvements are not easy to keep up with

Overall I find BH to be a good product on the ATS side of the house. We just went live with the Back office. The one thing that stick out to me is that there are so many things that we want to do that will require a "Customization". I think that it is locked down too tight. An example would be that we can not apply logic....If this ..... then that. The reporting isn't very useful. I am HOPING that we are able to get Canvas. Hoping that will fix those issues! The dashboard is geared way too much on sales and not on recruiting. I know that there is a "My Activity" card that was just released, but there is no way that the recruiting manager and/or the EVP of recruiting can view their teams card on their dashboard. The managers should have the option to view all activity in their department on their dashboard as well. I feel that we should be able to make our own user types and create entitlements as we see fit.

Pros

Export function. I wouldn't be able to run our office without it! It is easy to follow like an iPhone Support staff is great! Webinar/Training on new releases and features

Cons

Too many customizations Dashboard for ATS vs CRM Training on Back Office - VERY LITTLE, NO on-site training and staff was only given an overview 4 months before go live and no training when we went live

The overall UI looked good at first but it is actually not user friendly at all. I've realized that there are no options for a good ATS in the staffing industry.

Pros

The product looks better than other ATSs on the market but that is a very low bar. There are a lot of great features but we don't use any.

Cons

The customer service is horrible - honestly the worst I've ever seen. For most products we use, there is a dedicated point of contact but with bullhorn your questions are just throw in a queue and you will (hopefully) hear back within a couple of days. For the price, this is not ideal.

Pros

I'm so happy with the ease of searching, filtering, sorting, and flipping between screens. And I love that there are some fields I can update without opening the whole file. It really makes it easier and quicker to accomplish my job than with our past system.

Cons

There are some areas that aren't as intuitive as others, but overall it is an easy system to use, so once we've been trained, it's ok.

Not sure if there's any type of API or integration with Linkedin or other software, but might be useful.

Pros

Easy to use single page web app for capturing candidate info. Not a lot of meat to it though

Cons

After having used Greenhouse ATS, Bullhorn pales in nearly everything when it comes to features and functionality, albeit having everything easy and readily available on one screen

I like the way it allows me to track all aspects of both candidate and client relationships. The lists, and mass email functions allow me to contact relevant candidates with ease, and they always think it is a personalized email from me, even when sending 1000+ messages.

Cons

The resume passing and saving feature is not good on the base version. I cannot drag and drop resumes to a candidate file without first saving it to my pc,

Bullhorn is a product that if you purchase ALL the additional functions/add-ons can be a great tool for Sales/Recruitment professionals. However, the cost once you have factored in the add-ons can work out to be much more expensive than others in the market these days. Be aware of their user licence cost, it can cost you more in the long run depending on the highest number of active licences as this cost will continue throughout your contract, but will not decrease. So, cost always goes up. It isn't scalable to your business needs.

Pros

Good level of customisation

Cons

Core product gives you a taste of what it could be, but to get the most of Bullhorn you have to increase your monthly cost per licence.

A couple of times the app go off. the price is high when you look into similar softwares, for some new consumer that's maybe will be meaningful. Its not the right app for a non expertictise company

For what we were coming from (Excel spreadsheets for tracking) Bullhorn was a HUGE improvement. It can be customized to fit your needs and processes, and tracks typical KPIs that we had been measuring on our own.

Pros

It is very customizable to fit your needs and processes. I really liked the candidate page. I found it very easy to use and to reflect all useful detail at a glance.

Cons

The reporting features definitely left a lot to be desired. They were clunky to run, and a lot of times did not display data my hiring managers thought was useful. My dashboard - supposed to give me tasks to do that day - was also pretty useless.

I like it fairly well just seems it could be less manual at times.

Pros

I like how customizable this platform is. You can easily download reports, each screen to show users different information based on what they want to know. All of the fields can be changed to reflect what your company needs.

Cons

It is not very intuitive. Dates and other information do not automatically update. For instance, If I end a placement or a job on a certain date, my expectation would be for the system to update the dates on all of the attached placements - it does not do that.

Cons

Customer service experience can be confusing, and take some time before getting your ticket in the right hands. Once your there, though, they do work to provide timely resolution to any possible issue.

There is nothing as such I would like to complain about Bullhorn but if they need to improve on anything that would surely be on their User Interface and work on more to look the UI more better.
