### "Bullhorn"

I have been using Bullhorn for many years and my experience always have been wonderful. There has been a few times it went down but we fixed quickly. There are a lot of functions to know and learn but it does everything and can do anything you need to be successful.

Pros

I like Bullhorn for many reasons. The ease in using it; the amount of different thing you can use it for; the technical support is great and retrieving reports are easy to get.

Cons

The least thing I like about BH is when it goes down; it does get fixed quickly tho. There is not much else I can say as it does the job very well for me.

### "Too many glitches and too many steps."

Pros

Honestly, their customer service is the best feature. They are always available, try to fix things with one call and always follow up.

Cons

There are so many clicks and steps to follow for simple tasks. Ever since they rolled out the Novo version, too many things changed, there are a lot of duplication when entering information.

Pros

Bullhorn has done a lot of updated in the last several months. they have made their software easier to use and more visually appealing

Cons

There are still some issues with tracking. I will add dates in a contact and they won't show up on a client. Also, there is a 50/50 chance meetings show up correctly during reporting

Pros

Bullhorn is a one stop shop for all our recruiting activities from sourcing to closing deals. It also allow comprehensive reporting and many features that saves time.

Cons

I use Bullhorn in the Montreal office and some of my recruiters are more proficient in French and they would have like the ability to use BH in French.

It is one of the better CRM systems I have used but we do need to use third party plugins and applications to get the most out of it

Pros

It's an easy to use CRM with customisable workflows and menus

Cons

The data analysis and reporting tools are complicated and often unclear in how they are using/presenting the data

Ease of use is great. Functionality for our users is customizable and straight forward. Administration of the tool is easy and PS allows to create when in need. Overall very nice application.

Cons

Wish there was a way to separate web responses from the submission list to gain more insights into activity down stream.

Pros

Some of the features are really helpful, but they are not always consistent. Particularly, the email blasts and the way they integrate with Outlook.

Cons

If the features advertised were consistent and worked with the benefits to us, it would have been a dynamic addition. However, this was not always the case.

Pros

Bullhorn is easy to use, easy to navigate. The customization is a great feature, and it is easy to enter candidate information.

Cons

The search is terrible. Boolean never works properly, and the system times out repeatedly - sometimes taking close to two minutes to load.

Pros

A lot of good functionality. Provides nearly all the services and reporting that is needed in one system. Customer support is also very good. had a query recently and actually got a call from the support team to help me through which I was both surprised and delighted about as much easier to have someone on the phone than emailing back and forth

Cons

System automatically sends out an email when an interview is loaded on the system. I prefer to send out emails regarding interviews on an individual basis. If this functionality is turned off the system doesn't appear to track the interviews for reporting purposes which is a bit of a problem. There is a lot to the system so can take a good while to get comfortable with. Training is provided at a cost which I wasn't too happy about. If purchasing system believe training should be given free

Used for staffing.

Pros

Easily customizable for fields, processes used internally. Website loads fast and did a ton of training in the beginning. Does integrate with Background checks and job boards including Monster.

Cons

No back office function to do payroll. Have to use with another software and that can cause a lot of hiccups. Reporting is a little difficult. Doesn't always pull the correct locations if they roll up to a corporate location. It seems to get confused.

I would like to have the search function be more consistent and it would be great if the status would change back to active once a candidate's placement record has been closed out. We have to do that manually right now.

Pros

I love the import function from the applicants through Broadbean and ability to drop in a resume to populate the files. I love that it automatically documents the files to the candidates through linking the emails.

Cons

The search function is not consistent. If I do a search - "Project Manager" AND "Agile" ...it will give me anyone with these words in their files anywhere. Not both of them which is what I need but could be either or. Sometimes it just pulls up miscellaneous candidates that don't match at all.

I like the fact it is continually improving, the fact that you can get involved in beta testing and provide feedback to aid in product development..

Cons

Restrictive integrations options sometimes with iframe constraints.

From the front office experience, it has an ease of usage and training for our teams. It helps create consistency for all of our office on the workflow and operations aspect.

Cons

Mid and Back office are a challenge with billing/invoicing. We are having to write our own program to handle this issue.

Pros

The best quality is that you can adjust everything to your preferences. I have 5-7 favorite searches under each of my categories that is completely adjustable to my needs. You can do anything necessary to fit your individual needs.

Cons

The hardest part of the software is the updates. It takes a while to be fully 100% functional after each one. Particularly the search bar will not work until it is fully updated.

We switched over to Bullhorn from Maxhire in 2014. Bullhorn helps us have a clean database of candidates. Like that it has a Chrome app although, we never use it. Support is amazing, I never hesitate to call if I have a question.

Pros

Great platform, great support

Cons

Resource center doesn't prove to be too helpful.

Cons

Customization options can be confusing/ difficult to achieve. Reporting is basic an could be better. We currently use insightsquared to supplement this.

Backoffice is not reliable when it comes to invoicing our clients. Because it is not a part of Bullhorn, some items aren't always updated correctly. The Commission function is useless to us, as the system is not able to calculate commissions based off our struction.

Worst supplier service ever. Shocking.

Pros

Software was paid for but unused as key features didnt work.

Cons

Terrible company with awful service, poor values, who put more effort in selling their product than delivering it. They promise features which dont work and when the issues are raised, they fail to respond or make any attempt to resolve the matter. They then continue to expect payments to be made to them and will make contact regularly to make demands, while completely ignoring and refusing to act on the unresolved issues.

Pros

The system is very intuitive and easy to understand -- it is logical. Also, the customer service provided by Bullhorn is outstanding; they are always helpful, polite, and get the question answered in a short amount of time. I mostly 'chat' support and I find it very effective.

Cons

I feel like there are some functions that are presently non-existent with Bullhorn. I am in the process of cleaning up our database after the transition from Sendouts and I have to manually delete files that were duplicated during the transition one at a time. The process is draining, annoying and time-consuming.

### "Horrendous Customer Service"

Its been problematic and terrible since the beginning. We will be switching in short order.

Pros

None, there are quite a few cheaper options with the same functionality

Cons

The customer service is horrendouse. They shut our service off during the Covid-19 Pandemic, because we didn't pay their invoice early, and their billing process is unorganized at best, the interactions when you call are with people who know little to nothing, you cannot mass export from the software, and its not intuitive at all.

\- Can be slow at times but overall is pretty quick. Not much in the way of cons but there are a lot of simple things I hope they integrate.

Cons

I don't like that there are many ways to navigate in and out of a page, it takes a long time to ramp up and get accustomed to this tool
