Pros

We have found the product easy to use and extremely useful in communicating with clients and candidates.

Cons

Many times when the systems parses candidate resumes it messes up the names, current title and current employer. Knowing this you just need to check the field and adjust as necessary.

I believe this particular platform lends itself nicely to an agency or temporary staffing.

Cons

I don't believe this platform is best used for corporate recruitment or blended recruitment departments who engage highly skilled contingent workforce along with highly skilled permanent workforce.

Pros

Very flexible, responsive to needs, progressive in the market. Customer service is excellent and clients feel very well supported.

Cons

Could be more in tune with the Canadian Federal Government market and Canadian clients. BBO (although not the same as Bullhorn) cannot pro-rate a per diem.

Pros

I like that Recruiters can make note on a candidates profile and notify the entire hiring team of that update at once without having to send multiple emails.

Cons

Reporting is kind of tricky - and data mining can be tough - most of the reports we have out of Bullhorn have been custom reports

I love unlike our other ATS our company uses, it is web based. It is very easy to use, very intuitive, and they have a great customer support team.

Cons

There are some minor issues my team and I have on a daily basis that we struggle to fix, but overall there really aren't many issues.

Cons

Not clear how to keep up with the changes and new features. Need to ask for them at times. Sort of a self-discovery process.

We would like to go back to the old system

Cons

Everything takes longer to load The whole concept is not user friendly at all. Everything takes longer to do- as with the old system it was you could see all info on one page whereas this new system you have to go to different pages. Absolutely takes up way to much time! You can no longer review a resume while entering notes Resumes are corrupted when downloading them from BH using Safari on Apple devices Scrubbing resumes and adding FDR's letterhead is no longer accessible without the resume becoming corrupted

Pros

I love, love, love the functionality on mobile! Its quick, clean, and effective - I was often in-and-out of meetings and being able to not have to remember to add notes when I got back to my desk was such a huge plus for BH. The email integration was so clean and the simplified UI made accessing all of the candidate information I needed a piece of cake.

Cons

No real negatives - a great product, but you do pay a little more for it than other softwares (having said that, making one placement because of its features more than pays for any discrepancy) - highly encourage the investment!

Pros

Very complete and friendly application, for everything related to the flow of candidate data management and other human resources functions.

Cons

In general terms I do not see any problems with the application, however the learning curve at the beginning is a bit steep and the cost is high for small businesses

Bullhorn reach is by far the best product we have used. We got in when they first started and have a free version with no limits as part of that initial signup. We get a huge number of inbound candidates now and the quality of the candidates is also very good.

Pros

Love the fact that they did not get rid of the "free" plan and force loyal initial users that gave them start to upgrade

Cons

The speed of the site can be a bit improved but it is not bad at all

Pros

The platform is great for managing our process, creating efficiency, and making sure we have complete documentation on all aspects of our business which facilitates our highly collaborative team. The technical support team is awesome, they are always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable and get the issue resolved.

Cons

Like all software, it has it bugs and small issues, but nothing that impedes our ability to run our business.

I'd recommend Bullhorn to anyone in the staffing and recruiting industry. It's a fantastic product.

Pros

Cloud-based, compatible with Windows and MacOS. Compatible with multiple browsers. Highly customizable. They have an awesome support staff, and they respond very quickly.

Cons

It can take a little bit of time for someone who is not technically savvy to learn how the system works, but that is not a major con in my opinion.

Basic Software that is very easy to use and train on. Support is responsive and most reps are very knowledable.

Cons

The reporting could use some work. There are minor issues that come up somewhat regularly but the support knocks most of these out in a few days.

Bullhorn has a highly customizable ATS with all the bells and whistles! Customer service is speedy and the support team is always very helpful. The system takes a bit of work to get it going as it's highly customizable, but once everything is in place it's very user-friendly. Overall, I'm happy with this ATS and would recommend.

Pros

The Support Team is always thorough and available.

Cons

The introductory training was not helpful. Also, the training for the reporting tools is poor. Fortunately, there is a helpful database, however, there is still a huge need for better training for their reporting tools.

Pros

It had some in-depth choices to input information for each of your prospects. The fact that there was an integrated email system was pretty okay, even if it wasn't very powerful.

Cons

Bullhorn was always a bit difficult to get the hang of; the features are not intuitive and having multiple windows open at the same time is unheard of.

Pros

User interface, easy of use, integration with Outlook. Dashboard is very nice. Easy to do marketing campaigns. Best sales tracking and analytics of all the software we demo or used.

Cons

I think the parsing can be worked on. Not very accurate. Also, the search feature is ok. The ranking of the candidates score is not very accurate (sometimes the best candidate has a lower score than normal). I wish the software had a better process and control with closing deals, tracking placements, and also tracking our temps.

I work on the administrative side of things for my company so I work a lot in the back office with onboarding paperwork. I appreciate all of the features in Bullhorn and I think that it is a rather simple system to learn. I do wish that there were more opportunities for the Bullhorn team to engage with me directly and figure out ways to customize the system to my needs and our temporary consultant's needs.

Pros

How interconnected everything is. The customer service team is very responsive.

Cons

I feel like there are quite a few feature requests that have been submitted on my behalf that were never followed up on.
