Comments: Bullhorn provides a complete servicing platform for all stages of candidate recruiting. We are able to manage our client and candidate contact lists, our jobs, payroll, onboarding, and more. Aside from minor window control and UI quirks, Bullhorn has few flaws. With recent mergers, our company has experienced exponential growth during 2016. With that growth comes the challenge of integrating client and sales data, as well as candidate data. With Bullhorn, the integration was seamless. All of the data was easily uploaded into our established Bullhorn database and we experienced no downtime. As a Staffing Agency, our entire organization uses Bullhorn CRM. Bullhorn is our main recruiting tool allowing us to easily manage sales leads, candidate leads, and all levels of the staffing process. It effectively addresses the time issue; this tool saves us a great deal of time by organizing each of our processes in a general tab format.

Pros: Organization - The layout of the Bullhorn interface is simple. This makes training new users easy and makes working in bullhorn stress-free. Detail - Bullhorn allows us to enter and retrieve a great amount of detail within records. This allows for accurate reporting and follow-up. Customization - Bullhorn is very customizable. We can easily add components and fields to the interface within each function of the CRM.

Cons: User Interface - Though highly customizable, the windows and popups can be quirky. The sizes of windows for example can sometimes be to small for the data contained and require a great deal of scrolling to navigate through. Email Capability - Bullhorn would be better with a full service email suite which included all of the functions of MS Outlook for example. Data speed - We all want to work faster. Bullhorn can sometimes be a bit sluggish with the transmission of data.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would suggest making sure that the CRM software you select is highly customizable. We have realized a clear, positive benefit from Bullhorn's ability to integrate with other software. We have our background check vendor integrated within our CRM platform and by doing so have saved a great deal of time and money as a result.

Pros: Bullhorn is the best ATS I have ever used. It is very user-friendly. It only took me a day to know my way around bullhorn. It allows you to edit fields while you are looking at the list. This is very helpful as you do not need to click on a specific link to have it edited. Also, I love that it is integrated with MS Exchange as email conversations are recorded and can be seen by all internal employees. In addition, it is very easy to track the progress of each requisition. Bullhorn also allows you to set up reminders which are very helpful for busy recruiters like me. I love that text messages are also recorded in the system. Lastly, they have an awesome technical support team! Way to go!

Cons: For me, Bullhorn can still improve on tearsheets. Recruiters should be able to edit fields without them having to click a specific link/candidate. It would be very beneficial if they would add this feature as most job postings are really fast-moving. Another thing that I have noticed is with duplicate candidates. Sometimes I add a specific candidate and it shows me, 50 plus duplicate candidates. When I try to click one, it's nowhere similar to the resume that I uploaded. I hope they can do something about this.

Overall: Overall, I can still say that Bullhorn is the best recruiting software. I would highly recommend this tool to other staffing firms.

Pros: - A truly simplistic layout

- Seamless integration of all data from different sources to one complete Bullhorn database.

- Efficient tasklist and search

- Managing client and talent leads has become much easier

- A real time saver

- Contact list is searchable and easy to navigate

An extremely useful service for integrating databases (e.g. client and sales, recruiting data etc). Bullhorn is one of the best CRM's I have worked with. Simple, clean visuals, intuitive functions, good integration features. Allows synchronization with other programs and tools.

- Customizable, with lots of functions

- Compatible with tons of other software

Cons: - Some problems with user interface, like popups

- Refreshing posts is sometimes delayed, especially if they are close in time

- Small window sizes, requires lots of scrolling action

- Speed - data transmission could be much faster

- Needs a lot of updating and administration (which is honestly the problem of all CRM sofrware)

- Keeps old data which you have to delete manually, or it will interfere with current priorities

Overall: This platform turned out to be really handy for candidate recruiting. Users should pay special attention to the report functions, as they are really helpful in recruiting. For people who like everything individually organized and neat, it's a lifesaver.

Pros: Bullhorn is one of those software's out there that are pretty straightforward in terms of use. Great specially for those starting out in the recruiting world. What makes bullhorn great is that its not only a good end to end application tracking system but it also serves as a candidate pool of all the candidates that all the users within the company has ever entered in. Not only do you get a CRM but you also get a Job board. For recruiters like me another Job board to source on is another mine of gold. Its also great that you can link Monster.com to it. Makes parsing candidates form Monster a lot easier and saves time.

Cons: Nothing really , I just wished they had like a night mode or a livelier color scheme.

Overall: Cost wise you only pay for a CRM solution but you also get a job board something that is gold for recruiters, an extra job board is always welcome. It does also save time, something that most of us fail to realize it takes a couple of minutes to parse a candidate to any crm system with all the information in a resume, Bullhorn solves this by automatically parsing candidates to its system, specially if Monster.com is linked. You can save precious time and get more time to reach candidates vs parsing them.

Comments: Bullhorn is helpful and I love being able to access it from anywhere - the pricing is high but again this is the easiest of ATS/CRM that ia available to consumers - which is a good thing!

Pros: Bullhorn is a super user friendly CRm compared to other ATS or CRM software available. We are able to easily integrate job boards and this list of available integrations seems to be growing by the month! My favorite feature is the texting! A lot of people respond to text and the convenience of having it on BH is easier than trying to find other sources (even though integrations are available)

Cons: Bullhorn offers a matching feature and several filtering systems to help identify candidates. I find these to be lacking with room for improvement. You can go to filter out candidates for a warehouse role but could end up with a variety of admin and blank resumes. It is hit and miss but that could even reflect how our data is parsed into the system. I personally have not had much success using this feature.

Comments: Easy to get your teams up to date and configure.

Pros: If you are already using Bullhorn as the ATS, it is easy to get your users up to speed on the CRM as it is the same look and feel. The users are familiar with the features and easily able to navigate through the Leads and Opportunity process. The email tracking is great as it allows others to have the same information on the lead without having to speak to the lead owner. The opportunities component allows to track longer term prospects and projects that could come to fruition in the future. It is an easy way to track and keep up to date on task and activities that need to be done a future date and time.

Cons: It would be great if you could take a lead and convert into a Job instead of creating an opportunity and converting to a job. This is if you use within the staffing industry.

Pros: Bullhorn is a well designed platform. The User Interface was my favorite aspect of the design. The functions are easily located and navigable. Everything has a clean, organized appearance with intuitive design.

Cons: Bullhorn lacks some of the functionality of other CRM platforms. For smaller companies, it should be adequate but as our company grew, we found the need for functions such as integrated email and forms building which Bullhorn couldn't offer at a reasonable rate.

Overall: Bullhorn is definitely one of the better CRM softwares available on the market. It has a clean, well-designed interface with plently of features for the average user. The support team a Bullhorn is great; we always had a very good experience with them. As your company grows, this CRM can grow with you but it can get expensive.

Pros: Bullhorn is a recruiter's best friend. It can handle everything from the Job Post, the applicant tracking, candidate communication / scheduling as well as on-boarding. For a large team working on the same position, it allows us to all be on the same page and keep the process moving forward. The customer service is awesome!

Cons: Some of the reporting features aren't as robust as other platforms and Bullhorn isn't one stop for HR, we use other software for benefits, performance evals, etc. With that said I'd rather have the best ATS and work with industry leaders in other areas, a la carte HR!

Overall: Bullhorn has really helped us reduce our time to fill and post time to interview ratios.

Comments: Bullhorn has been great to work with. The CRM is a CRM for people who want to develop, maintain, and manage relationships with clients and candidates. The Bullhorn staff is always coming up with new and innovative ideas. The company does not sit still. They are attempting to do more, integrate more, and combine the interesting reality of automation and personal relationships.

Pros: The features of Bullhorn are excellent. The fields that can be customized and arranged per the user, the way work flow is presented and managed. The search tools are great. The task list and tearsheets are helpful.

Cons: The only con I can think of is the mass email function. When recipients get an email from a mass email, it might have "bullhorn" in the "from" portion of the email. Not too big of a deal, especially if you don't send mass messages

Recommendations to other buyers: Evaluate it. Check it out. I believe you will find it exciting and find the company great to work with.

Pros: The ATS piece of Bullhorn is the best in the business. The way candidates are managed and organized there is nothing better. The tool has a great way to track candidates from the applications to the placement stage and is very user-friendly. The tool also integrations very well with tools such as Broadbean and Daxtra which makes searching for candidates even better.

Cons: There is not much ability to customize the platform. IF you can keep you business to as close to 'out of box' as possible, you will be thankful.

Also the true CRM piece of bullhorn does not comapre to competetors such as Salesforce

Pros: What I love most about Bullhorn is not only the easy interface but also their partnership with vendors. They have a marketplace that allows you find so many great tools to help your business and they all integrate with Bullhorn!

Cons: They have some things that are hard coded that I wish we could change. Also, they tend to tell customers about new features and give a date that it will be live but it usually takes longer than expected. For example, they said the new version would be rolled out in July and when I spoke to them about when we would be getting it they said it would be closer to December.

Pros: I liked most the tagging feature within bullhorn that allowed me to tag my colleagues within note updates within candidate profiles, job orders, or client documentation notes. These came through in real time to our outlook emails so nothing was lost. It really helped keep people in the loop, including my management on my activity

Cons: I had used bullhorn before it's most recent upgrade to Novo. I didn't like how you couldn't search Keywords in just the notes section as it would bring up resume keywords too but I understand Novo has fixed this enhancement

Pros: The interface is very user friendly, easy to navigate especially for first time users. BullHorn is my bestfriend since I started recruiting and it is a great help, I get a lot of candidates here.

Cons: The only problem I have with BullHorn is sometimes it is slow and it will log you out if you are inactive for around 1 hour.

Overall: Overall I love BullHorn without this I don't know what would my recruiting life would be. I highly recommend this product to all the recruiters out there. A great tool that has everything.

Pros: You can tag everyone and everything. You can text (new feature we got) your candidate and it tracks it in the profile. You can set appointments, tasks, follow ups, copy your whole team. Tearsheets are instrumental in building your pipeline. I

Cons: It takes a little time to be able to fully use the robust application, but it can be the best recruiter if you use it the way you are supposed to. Take the time to learn and you will always be a step ahead of the competition.

Pros: Bullhorn allows us to manage our candidates, back office paperwork flow, and our sales activity all in one place. The system is very flexible, and easily customizable. Bullhorn integrates with all of our 3rd party software that we use, and it also integrates nicely with LinkedIn! The support team is unmatched.

Cons: Bullhorn Back Office has a slightly dated user interface, but that's really it. I'd like to be able to send automatic email notifications to candidates that we mark as Not Qualified for a job.

Comments: Bullhorn is a great CRM system, it's easy to learn and use and it has served us well so far. Our staff have picked it up easily however the odd technical glitch can be quite frustrating.

Pros: I like that the contacts, clients and candidates can all link up so you can keep track of everything and i love how you can track your recruitment process as it's happening.

Cons: We have had a couple of issues with latency in the past which has been time consuming. A lot of this happened when Bullhorn transitioned to the S Release

Pros: 1. Full function for recruiting, keeps all information intact from parsing, screening, endorsment and placement.

2. It is great to use for multi tasking. Can open several jobs at once, can pull up multiple candidates

3. One great feature of this software would be their tear sheet. Can make a list private or public of candidates in certain location, skills or qualities that can be used for future references. You can also use this tear sheet to send multiple emails at once.

4. Bullhorn, gives you flexibility with integration. This also serves as accuracy in documentarion. If all tools are integrated, however you interact with a candidate thru phone, email or text all these will be put in on file automatically.

5. You can also open a job, and see similar jobs at the bottom of the page o look for other opportunities with the same end client

6. It also provides variety of ways to save a candidate. Either drag and drop, copy and paste or download the file. It also offers bullhorn accelerator. Where it can download profile straight from your job boards. If you want to save up with space in your drive.

Cons: 1. Though Bullhorn is a very useful tool, it is never perfect. It has latency every now and then and at some point misses to capture what you have saved.

Cons: Overall the prodcut is great, howevevr greater functionality on a mobile device would make it even better !

Comments: My company is coming from no previous software experience so even having a program to organize candidates and search, email, make notes is huge for us. However, I feel like their introductory process could be tightened up.

Pros: Bullhorn is pretty easy to use once you get all of your information in it. The search function is an excellent resource and the customization per user makes it stand out.

Cons: The on-boarding process was pretty tedious. Once you commit and sign the contract, you have to spend tons of time doing training modules, taking quizzes, and doing scheduled calls before you can even start using it. Once you finish that, you're put on a 3 week time limit to upload any and all resumes. In our case, that wasn't enough time (we're a company that had no previous candidate software so we were dealing with paper resumes, imbedded resumes in emails, etc) for us and we're likely going to have to pay for another bulk upload down the road. Also, I think there are still a few kinks to be worked out in the software and to get ahold of a customer service rep takes a lot of effort-- even just for simple questions.

Pros: Covers all features necessary to run a recruitment business and rarely plays up, if at all. I would not look elsewhere at another platform.

Pros: Bullhorn is a Customer Relationship Management tool with a clean-and-simple design and many useful functions. Syncs well with Outlook. It can easily handle as many contacts as you need to manage with good sorting and searching capabilities, facilitating communication between Sales and Recruiting. When searching for a client or recruitment candidate, ALL of the available information is returned--so instead of just contact info, there is also a history of all their activity, including emails. Bullhorn CRM is also great for new hires because the interface is intuitive and doesn't require a lot of training.

Cons: While Bullhorn CRM is an easy to learn and use product, with the exception of the Pulse feature, it's not particularly innovative and doesn't offer any features that stand out as far as I can tell. Reloading pages and refreshing appointments can take longer than it seems like they should. However, they are making consistent improvements to the product so this could change quickly in a future version.

Pros: It is the best staffing tool in the industry. Great, fresh interface. Constant improvements rolling out each month.

Cons: Customer support. It is rare when a member of there customer service team can find the answer to problem other than a password reset or general functionality.

Pros: For 80+% of my work, it does exactly what I need. The core of it is well put together and easy to navigate.

Cons: There could be a lot more around customized features and reporting. We feel like there is a big gap on the reporting side and integration with other tools.

Pros: A great customisable workflow and setup, allowing us the ability to tailor the system to our customers requirements for each type of role we work

Cons: Lack of a mobile app means that currently we are reliant on a mobile browser experience, which can often be clunky to use.

Cons: There have been server issues, forcing Bullhorn to be down for extended periods of time which leads to a negative business impact.

Overall: Bullhorn allows the organization to track opportunities and accounts.

Comments: I think it's a good CRM option if you're looking for something other than Salesforce.

Pros: -Great place to log and track customers company-wide -Saves time -Helps tremendously with organization -Exceptional customer service -User friendly for the most part -There is a "Task List" that is really beneficial for helping you keep track of what you need to do in x amount of time

Cons: -Not a fan of the app - it's functionality is poor -Not all the tools that we use integrate with Bullhorn -They're constantly making "improvements" but the improvements are not easy to keep up with

Comments: Over Bullhorn is the best ATS I have used

Pros: The ATS is easy to use, has great tracking of candidates, and so helpful in following the candidate through the process.

Cons: Sometime the ATS is hard to search and pull back the best folks. We use tearsheets to keep things tracked

Comments: Overall this is the best ATS system out there.

Pros: Allows our team to be more efficient Is has allowed our firm to go paperless We can use it on the go on our mobile devices

Cons: The only con is that the Team Edition we have does not allow us to text candidates through Bullhorn. In a world where texting is a main mode of communication, text capabilities should come standard with all ATS systems.

Pros: Bullhorn is SO user friendly and integrates with some many other applications like LinkedIn, TextUs, etc that I use every day as a Recruiter. I have used other ATS's and none have been as recruiter friendly as Bullhorn. I love some of the functions like tear sheets - that allow us to reach out to candidates about new opportunities in bulk.

Cons: There are certain fields in the software that are not as customized as I would like. We have provided feedback to our representative and customer support.

Pros: I like that the display is very modern and fairly intuitive. The mobile functionality is also very easy to view and edit on the go.

Cons: I wish there were more customization options. It is getting better, but still further to go. I also wish the training sessions were a bit more in depth with more content available to read up on and train as you go.

Clunky, slow, terrible reporting. Does the job, but does so in a very inefficient way.

Pros: Navigation between candidates, companies, and applications

Relatively user-friendly interface

Note sharing and distribution listings easy

Cons: Reporting. Pulling a report with the exact same parameters multiple times produce reports with widely varying results. Even when parameters are set (e.g. exclude a field), parameters are not stuck to leading to inaccurate results. Will not operate correctly if there is too much data in the reports, so it cannot handle creating a single report with multiple months/years of data, meaning smaller reports have to be pulled separately and then pieced together manually.

Customer service - highlighting issues with the platform went nowhere. Identifying problems or issues elicited zero response from Bullhorn.

Performance - so so slow! Opening candidate profiles takes forever!

Overall: Its an ATS - it keeps the data we need, but it just does so really terribly.
