Pros: All in one software to go completely paperless and keep track of caregivers so agency never has to worry about lost paperwork or untruthful caregivers. Clients and family have full access to view and pay for there care online. So even if a family member wants to check how a family members care is being handled even from far away they have easy access for updates and care provided. Super affordable so no worries and stress on how to pay for software. If internet doesn't work for a caregiver an easy access clock in and out and ADL's on a convenient phone number. Best customer service I've dealt with in a long long time. They really care!!

Cons: Setting up online applications were a little tricky if your not computer savvy but customer service is is super helpful

Comments: AxisCare is a great software system. I looked at several before choosing AxisCare and I am very happy with the product

Pros: I love the payroll feature where it does all the work for me, all I have to is pull the report. It also allows me to keep up with my employees.

Cons: It is not always easy to reach someone when I am having technical issues. But someone will get back in contact within 24 hours.

Comments: It seems like there isn't a very good way to separate 2 disciplines work, but if you only use this for aides then it's great!

Pros: Has all of the features that I needed. The customer service ladies are awesome. They are there when I call or they call me back in a timely manner.

Cons: I put nursing ADL's in their own category but they still show up on the aide's ADL list.

Comments: Great support staff - very friendly and never seem to mind answering a ton of questions when I need to figure out how to do a task with the software

Pros: Ease of use Great features that keep my employees up to date (removes any excuses of "I didn't know I was supposed to work") Easy to send open shifts and have them respond

Cons: When their app updates it loses the server number that associates it with our office. This can be a pain to get our caregivers to set up again.

Comments: I love that I switched to Axiscare. They have been a great addition to my company. I look forward to working with them for years to come.

Pros: cost web based software easy to use makes badges for caregiver and office staff response time is quick

Cons: calender is a little cluttered there is really not to many things I don't like about this software

Pros: It is is easy to use for scheduling and starting a client. It is a quick storage for follow-up information.

Cons: Calendars can not be seen on schedules if scheduling marketing or meeting visits, Reports for numbers are difficult and unclear

A very good software that completely handles all of our needs!

Comments: would definitely recommend it to any new Home Care business!

Pros: I love the mobile app, it allows my staff to chart at the bedside, POC and the scheduling is tops! Also the schedule lets you do the whole year of repetitive visits.

Cons: That it cannot do invoicing in stand alone mode! Also, as administrator, i cannot log in via the mobile app because it tells me I am not a caregiver, but I only wanted to test it before my staff did.

Great functionality but not intuitive or user friendly.

Comments: I like your software but can't use all the functions. It needs to be mobile friendly. Need GPS clock in/out. It would be good if you have an app for it that is simpler to use. We just need great scheduling, GPS clock in/out, integrate with QuickBooks, and be able to sort out reports. Thanks

Pros: Great functions for administrator. Office functions are great. Scheduling is made simple and easy to fill in gaps within shifts,.

Cons: It's not quite intuitive and requires on going training. Not mobile friendly. Too many bells and whistles. Administrator don't need all those functions.

Comments: I appreciate the consistency in service. When I reach out for assistance, AxisCare replies in a service driven manner. I always feel as it's important to them that my concerns are resolved, rather than I am a bother. The service tone is excellent, the overall experience is probably the best I have witnessed in years.

Pros: It is easy to use and the information I need is right at my fingertips. I really like the home page.

Pros: It's a great way to communicate with employees. Great that we up upload documents then email or text to employees.

Cons: Can't see very important info that is listed on the application once it maps over to the profile page (i.e. work history)

Pros: I spend a great deal of my day with AxisCare and find it is the perfect tool for my specific job as the Assessment & New Client Coordinator for Visiting Angels. It allows me to be 'in the moment' at assessments, offering ease in navigation, and an easy to read format. In the development of the Assessment and Plan of Care, I am assured that I am able to communicate effectively the care needs of the individual to a caregiver. From intake to client management it fulfills the needs we have to professionally and accurately to maintain critical data for in-home care.

Cons: Because AxisCare had been in Beta mode for a while it was a little challenging for me to keep up with the changes. The great news is that the Support staff totally ROCKS. Within a very short period of time they get right back and patiently help with issues.

Comments: Overall, AxisCare has been a major value add for our business. We used to maintain paper records, and AxisCare allowed us to replace most of that system. We had reviewed five different CRM options before we decided to go with AxisCare and we have no regrets.

Pros: AxisCare is easy to use, provides great organization and well worth the price. The solutions has a professional appearance, and the layout is very intuitive to navigate. The system combines all aspects of the healthcare business, from marketing and tracking leads to managing client and caregiver information. AxisCare consistently makes updates to the system, making it even better with each release.

Cons: No particular issues with the product. Customer Service is pretty good, however, I have experienced times when follow up could have been more timely.

Pros: AxisCare made the impossible, possible. We are a new company in the Home Care arena and as you can imagine trying to start from the ground floor is a monumental task. AxisCare took one of the worries out of our hands by providing us with their scheduling tool to track client and caregiver schedules. We rely heavily on the reporting tool to ensure all clients and caregivers are scheduled appropriately. Without this tool, we may not have noticed scheduling conflicts or unassigned visits.

Cons: I really haven't found a least favorite option yet and I doubt I will. I am currently testing the mobile app to see if it is something we want to roll out to all of our caregivers.

Pros: easy to access! assist the agency with accurate documentation, bring the agency up to date with latest software and assist agency with tracking

Cons: When sending group message they don't receive them as quickly as needed. new assessments should be easier to document

Comments: Overall, AXIS is a great scheduling system, that has DEFINITELY added ease and efficiency to the job of the scheduler. And I should know, since I am the scheduler!!!

Pros: The alerts that enable you to know when you have double booked a caregiver with more than one client. Also, the layout of the website gives the user easy access to client/caregiver schedules, profiles, and reports that aide in running a home health company.

Cons: There are days when the system does not work correctly or drags slowly. Also, there are a few glitches/kinks that need to be worked out. Examples include, but are not limited to, a caregiver who works with 2 clients clocks in for her morning shift at 8:30am, and the system clocks her in at 8:30am for her evening shift that starts at 4:30pm. Also, when verifying, once verified and a caregiver manually clocked out, caregiver can clock out later and the system recognizes the telephony change/stays verified-It should unverified automatically if this happens. This may cause discrepancies in payroll/invoicing, if not seen by office administration.

Really helpful to organize and have better control of our business in general.

Comments: Been using AxisCare for all our scheduling/management need for over 4 years. We have used two other systems previously. We are very satisfied with our decision to use AxisCare.

Pros: Great functionality, integration, customization ability. Ongoing improvements. Prompt customer support.

Cons: Looking for mobile app for administrators. This has been promised in the future. No other concerns with the software.

Pros: I really like the Outlook page. Also the Caregiver/Client profile pages have great fields. The Calender is a great feature -- that when a caregiver is schedule for 3 different clients, all of their addresses appear on the bottom of the page.

Cons: Few features are not very userfriendly. eg. The Billing information to be inserted can be more pre-set by Axiscare. If we need to bill the VA - Its payer ID, codes to be used should pop up to choose. The field that are required must be highlighted as soon as one chooses VA on the top!

Comments: We love this software and have been using it for going on 3 years now. Axiscare has been a wonderful partner for our small business.

Pros: The functionality of reports, the responsiveness of the customer support staff, and the pricing based on hours billed.

Cons: The only drawback is not being able to toggle between client and employee calendars without going back to the client or employee main list.

Comments: We have used Axis for over 3 years. There have been some good changes made to the system, and some changes I wish would have been made. Overall it is an exceptional value, and I have appreciated the relationship with the company as well as the personalities within Axiscare.

Pros: Affordability; updates to the clock-in methods; Simple to complex report options; Programmers implementing requests into the system (changes)

Cons: The care-note week and the billing week do NOT match (sun-mon; Sat-Sun). Have been asking for this change for a very long time - It creates big issues for insurance billing.

Comments: Axis Care is a very accommodating company. They have worked with us since the beginning and have made many changes to our liking. I believe it could be more fluid, but I believe they are getting there. The staff is excellent and we enjoy working with them very much.

Pros: The OS is pretty simple They are willing to change the site to accommodate our needs Price Reports Phone App

Cons: It isn't as fluid as it could be, pages could work together more Care Note week and Billing week does not match and is a major annoyance (needs to be sun-sat and should have a bi-weekly option) Does not sync/update Home Care Pulse when cases end, even though the information is updated from our system Website is very hard to navigate on a phone when making changes

Comments: Easy to learn and use. There are still a few kinks, like the accepted visits in the bulletin still do not remove themselves once accepted and filled. We have to hide these daily, but otherwise the system is easy to use and the mobile app is a great feature.

Cons: Would prefer the client and caregiver calendars to be viewed by date range. It would also be nice to be able to set the alerts for certifications/evaluations go lower than 15 day notice.

My life revolves around AxisCare!

Comments: I've been using their services for my healthcare agency since 2014. I would say they are very personable and quick to respond. They have evolved and stayed on top of the healthcare management info trends and I believe they will continue to do greater things. After I decided to close my agency, they were able to accommodate a lower affordable rate to keep my client files in their system. Comments: I have used this software for 2.5 years and I was able to learn it in only a couple days which is very handy in my line of work. Axiscare routinely updates their look and features to keep running more efficiently. I have referred Axiscare to many companies and will continue to do so.

Pros: Very user friendly. Compatible with different payroll companies so importing payroll is a breeze.

Comments: Axiscare has come so far since I started using the product 2 years ago, and it has made our daily business interactions almost seamless. The "copy visit" feature has been extremely useful, and I have benefited greatly from several of the reports I am able to create during billing. I would recommend this product without hesitation to other home healthcare business owners.

Cons: Mileage feature in Recommend caregiver is incorrect Need a "no availability" block for caregivers that are unavailable for months at a time that will remove them from "recommend caregiver" Feature that shows how many hours the caregivers are currently scheduled for on the main caregiver list page

Comments: I love how user friendly Axis Care is to learn and use on a daily basis!

Pros: The notes section makes it real easy for me to leave detailed notes that my scheduler can use as a reference when determining what caregiver would suit each client

Cons: In the marketing tab there is tool to plan routes. I wish this tool was also in the clients tab so I could simply plug in client addresses and plan the best route when doing multiple follow up visits

Comments: The software is really good for scheduling and keeping track of your clients. It is intuitive and relatively easy to navigate. The company is committed to pushing out improvements and does so by listening to their customers. It provides the efficacy needed to manage staff and clients as well as each case.

Pros: Intuitive, easy to navigate, relatively robust client management capabilities.

Cons: Needs to be some kinks worked out with the telephony. In brief, the times noted respectively to a client isn't always accurate if a caregiver goes over the allotted time of one client and then tries to call in for another client in the same day. If the time the caregiver went over with client A is overlapped with the next client, client B, then telephony does not recognize the correct client. One other needed improvement is the application. Very archaic and needs to be customizable and not static. Too sterile.

Comments: After using a few other software systems we stumbled across AxisCare. It is very user friendly. It took me less than an hour to be independent with the software. We use AxisCare for our "in home PAS business" and for our "Assisted Living Business" The customer support ladies are wonderful, friendly and always eager to help. They listen to our issues and try to adapt the software to meet our needs. Payroll and invoicing is so easy with AxisCare. I can't think of any upgrades that are needed at this moment.

Comments: We got this a couple months ago and it is just what we were looking for. As soon as we got access to the software all of the possibilities that this bring to the for the front of your mind. Imagine having a software that lets your caregivers essentially pick their own schedules. That leads to a lower turnover with your caregivers. Also the clock-in methods are perfect for the tech savvy younger aides that love to use their smartphones (AxisCare App) and then you have your older caregivers that are not too tech savvy you have the telephony system where they can use any phone to clock-in. The customer support team is awesome. I called the number not knowing they were closed and someone actually picked up the phone after hours excited to talk to me and answer a simple question for me. The trainers are some of the best. If you do not know something they will stay on the phone with you and break it down into small pieces for your understanding. And the price is the best that I have ran across by far. If your looking for more bang for your buck then AxisCare is it!!!

Pros: The whole software it self.

Cons: I serious dont have any cons at the moment.

Comments: I helped implement AxisCare with my former employer. Its user friendly interface and robust data reporting impressed me. After getting all our clients and caregivers into the system I just can't imagine ever using anything different for scheduling! Comments: Using Axis Care software has been a great help for our agency. It allows us to focus on our clients and caregivers instead of focusing in the office management. Since Axis Care takes care of schedules, payroll, billing, we have more time to attend people rather than process.

Pros: Reports are great: billing, payroll and royalties. Specially great when you see the same amounts on them. Easy to add clients and caregivers.

Cons: On March 12 the daylight saving time started in the USA. In Mexico it started on April 1st. During those weeks, caregivers could not check in and out correctly because the system had a different time. Very annoying and we didn't know how to fix it. Making changes to the schedule is not that easy. I make a change and click save but it doesn't save nor tells me what am I doing wrong. Spanish translation is terrible. I could help with that if you want I don't understand the fix and hourly rates. It calculates the same way. If you change the default hourly rate, it changes the rates of past events which is bad, because that already happened and should not change.

Comments: Great product for tracking everything related to my senior care business. It keeps track of caregivers, clients, schedules, and even submits info to QuickBooks for Payroll and Billing. Describing how the product can help my clients track their visits and feel confident that the caregiver is on site, has helped me close on deals. Caregivers use AxisCare to check their schedules, get addresses, etc, eliminating the need for them to come to the office unnecessarily. Comments: We have just finished our first full year in the home health care business (whew! what a ride). We looked at three different scheduling software programs and chose Axis Care due to the fact that it appeared to be user friendly and guess what? It is!! Not only is it user friendly, we have found customer service to be top notch; they are right there to answer a phone call and I have not had to "wait" on the line, in queue for the next available operator to help me, nor have I had to listen to an automated recorded message that prompts me to choose 1 for customer service, 2 for sales, etc. REFRESHING!! I am happy with the syncing feature to Quickbooks for both payroll and billing.

Pros: User friendly, syncs with Quickbooks.

Cons: Can't say I have found anything I don't like about it.

Pros: -I liked how the calendar functioned, you are able to adjust a single shift straight on the calendar or the whole schedule via the bulk scheduling. I like how the calendar showed you the past week, current week and 2 future weeks EVERY TIME. -I liked how the open shifts show on your home page, so they are very easy to identify -There is a great space for the marketing team--but it can be cumbersome and hard to use for a team -The app is great!

Pros: So far what I like about the product is that it is very user friendly. The training that I have gotten so far has been wonderful the customer support has done a great job. Any problems questions or concerns I have had she was there to answer immediately.

Cons: So far I can not say anything bad about this product.

Recommendations to other buyers: There is so much to learn and I just jumped right into it and started exploring as much as I could. I am a small company and I am glad that I am starting out with a software that is making my life smoother. Take your time and try to learn as much as you can, shop around and compare software.

Pros: AxisCare is extremely user friendly. It is easy to learn and tech support is so helpful if you have any additional questions. Our agency couldn't function without it. It is essential to the operation our business.

Cons: I wish there was a way to link couples that share a caregiver.

Recommendations to other buyers: Scheduling software is integral to the success of a home care agency. AxisCare is a great choice because they include this and a CRM component as well.

Pros: Their courteous and knowledgeable staff makes it easy to get help when you need one. The ease of use of the software is wonderful. You can practically start using the software without any orientation nor trainings.

Cons: We can't connect to quickbooks online to process accounts and payroll. With desktop version only we are just limited.

Pros: The software allows us to communicate very efficiently with our caregivers and now to monitor them.

Cons: There have been a few instances where the software needed some enhancement, but they were responsive and made the changes quickly.

Pros: The tool is very intuitive and the vendor responds really fast

Cons: The translation to spanish of the site is very poor. No complaints about the vendor

Recommendations to other buyers: With Axis you can manage practically all your operations at the office. Take time to play around with it and you will find it very useful. Try to stay away from paperwork and fill everything in the system, later you will be thankful about doing it.

Pros: After using a competitor's software for our first year in business, I was looking for a better solution to handle the complex scheduling issues we face on a daily basis. AxisCare was up to the task. Not only did we find a better solution for handling the scheduling, but the consistent enhancements to the overall software package displays the dedication this Company has towards staying ahead of the competition. The roll-out of the AxisCare Mobile App has been a huge win for our caregivers, which translates to a huge win in the office. There are less missed clock-ins and the completion of ADL's is much more consistent. The support staff is fantastic. We have experienced a very quick response time anytime there are questions or issues and the staff always treat you in a friendly and professional manner.

Cons: An area that I wanted some more consistency and flexibility with is the customized forms section. When I brought that up to the support staff, they mentioned that the developers were already working on a complete overhaul of that area. One of the main developers actually reached out to me and spent a significant amount of time trying to understand our business and identifying what features would benefit us the most. I'm extremely confident that this roll-out will be as successful as the Mobile App was.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a list of needs that your business has and make sure your sales person is able to show you how their system can handle them. Once you've identified that they are a good fit, you can rest easy that the support team will be there for you on a daily basis.

Pros: The software is easy to use and suits my needs. I am new to the industry, so this is my only vendor I have used with scheduling software. That said, the staff has always been positive, responsive, and helpful when I need them.

Cons: I like the ability to add documents and send them to caregivers through the software like I have seen on Clearcare.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure it fits your needs. There are many different flavors out there.

Pros: I love the "all-in-one" package. Anything from scheduling to billing and payrolls. The communication to caregivers and the options to send out open visit is very helpful.

Cons: Our caregivers are having lots of problems with clocking in/out. I'm not sure whether it is the clients phone problem or the system.

Recommendations to other buyers: It eases my day! Very easy access to change clients visits, send out open visits. Running reports and verifying each visit for payrolls is a great tool! I find difficult or I need to learn more on how to work with the care plan in the system. It seems to be too complicated.

Pros: AxisCare is easy to learn and does everything we could ask for in a scheduling software. Using the telephony segment we always know if our caregivers are where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. Their tech support is easy to contact and quick to solve any issues we might have.

Cons: I can't think of a thing we don't like about this product.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make a list of what you want from a program and I am sure you will find that AxisCare does it all at a resonable cost.

Pros: The staff is quick in addressing issues and answering questions. The company is flexible in adding customer's requested business requirements. The price is good; cost effective compares to other similar scheduling software available in the market. I appreciate the founder, staff and organization for their willingness to work with their customers. We will be a long time customer! (I have over 10 years of large-scale applications/systems experience.)

Cons: Recent changes made to the system (without client's sign off) set the system back in functionality.

Recommendations to other buyers: Evaluate the ongoing support after the initial sign-up, and the adaptability and "go to market" of new business/system requirements.

Pros: I like that when we have an issue or idea, we can just call the ladies in the office and they will put in a ticket for our request.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a long time to get things changed with AxisCare. There have also been times that we will "put in a ticket" and won't get a return call to let us know if things have been changed or fixed at all.

Recommendations to other buyers: If there is any issue with the program to call immediately because there are times that the problem doesn't get fixed for quite a while. The sooner they get the issue reported, the sooner it can get fixed.

Pros: AxisCare has all my needs on it for scheduling and keeping track of my caregivers and clients. The help staff are always available and helpful.

Cons: I'd like to have a way to see all my CG's schedules at one time rather than only one person at a time.

Recommendations to other buyers: I've only used this program so I have no comparison to any others on the market. But the ease of this one works very well for my needs.

Pros: I like that is is always being updated and customized. The software updates are thought out and you can tell feedback was listened to.

Cons: I dislike the glitches and errors. Very often there is a new error that is very frustrating and it takes time to fix the issue.

Pros: I think the best feature of Axis Care is the transition from Lead to Client, or from Applicant to Caregiver. The transition is seamless and allows me to track Leads and Applicants much easier than a pile of sticky notes on my desk.

Cons: I wish I had more control of functions specific to my company - for example, we have 2 different offices, but all of the 'directions' come from our Head Office. I would like ot be able to control that a bit more. I do have to admit that the Support Team seems very receptive to adaptations, which makes suggestions a lot easier.

Recommendations to other buyers: ALWAYS remember how many times you'll need to use the Support Team and make sure they're helpful, friendly, and efficient. Axis Care's Support Team is AWESOME!!!

Pros: The marketing side is really good, if it is utilized.

Cons: The cumbersomeness of the billing process and the reporting limitations. There are a lot of reports but typically only one way to run them. Had to create a work-around for some reports, in order to get the data we need.

Recommendations to other buyers: Just dive deep into the limitations of the software for your needs. Its a good product and hopefully developers will get bring it to a higher level.
