I have tried other services, but none have provided the value of Rushtera. The less expensive services turned out to be terrible in terms of transfer speed, options, security and poor customer service. The more expensive services provide either worse or comparable transfer speeds at much higher prices and without the added features. Pros Rushtera is the best way I have found for securely sending and sharing large files. It is especially designed for video. It has been a great alternative to Aspera and Signiant at a fraction of the cost. It offers streaming functionality and customization that the competitors don't have which makes it easier for clients to use. It's new version has many upgrades and improvements over the older version and the customer service is amazing. If you have any questions they respond very quickly and if think of a feature to make Rushtera better, let them know and there's a good chance they'll incorporate it quickly. Cons The biggest con is the current lack of an iOS app, which would be very useful for client streaming. BUT I believe they are working on that now so hopefully it will be available very soon. I experienced some streaming hickups with the older version, but as far as I can tell all of those bugs have been fixed and the interface has been much improved as well. So if you tried Rushtera in the past, you definitely should try the new version. Reasons for choosing RushTera Of the others, the worst by far was Hightail. Terrible customer service and a product that doesn't deliver. I find that Aspera often doesn't work well transferring to Europe. Signiant actually works very well sending and receiving from Europe so I have no complaints with Signiant for file delivery except for price. The products that do work well are Rushtera, Signiant and Frame.io. But they are all different and for different uses. If you send large files and do remote client reviews, I would recommend getting a Rushtera subscription and a Frame.io subscription. With those two, you'll be covered .
