I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about the product. I find it really easy to use and makes submitting mileage a fast process.

Daily expenses are made quick and easy, especially as it links in directly with my HR app. Having the mileage calculator built in, and it being linked up with my HR app makes this a great, all-in-one feeling solution that doesn't add clutter to my work flow.

Pros

The granular breakdown of expenses is really easy - just from a single expense I can very easily see buttons to split payments and tag-in collogues. It takes what would feel like more complex expense reports, and makes it stress-free. I don't need to write in lots of context as the forms allow me to feel confident in what I'm filling out due to the options. Built-in mileage calculator is really handy, and most importantly I trust that when I've submitted my expenses, it's all sorted and correct. I couldn't say the same for PeopleHR's expenses thing we used to use - that couldn't keep the attachments linked to my expenses.

Cons

I think the User Interface is a little outdated, but I wouldn't say this takes away from any of the functionality. It's a tad cluttered I'd say.

I'm not sure why my company switched. But my personal experience was that PoepleHR expenses kept removing my attached receipts - meaning it looked fine when I would submit them, but my manager wouldn't be able to see. They would need to decline my expenses and I'd have to start over with the attachements.

Not a good one, I find the laptop screen quite confusing. The phone app is ok when it works but difficult to set up.

Pros

When the phone app works it is really straight forward to follow and handy as you can enter the details immediately. I also like the colours for sections on the laptop version.

Cons

It seems overly complicated to use and also when I have tried to pair it with my work phone it just gives a spinning blue circle. I realise that it can be sorted but it takes time to do this which is difficult when you have work to do. The receipt side of things is not easy either. The screen on the laptop version is confusing as well.

It is a good platform if the admin team is always available and if they set the platform up correctly

Pros

Managers in my current company use this platform to submit expenses for transports in London and for expenses made abroad that vary from travels, food and anything extra related to work. It is very efficient platform.

Cons

What I don’t like about the platform is that is not that easy to use. Many clicks required to arrive at the end of the process. And also, as for every expense there is a reason to select, if the admin team did not set the reason that you need, you have to contact them and ask if they can update it for you. A bit of a long process.

The experience is pleasing easy to learn and satisfying as you are able to change or fix any mistakes even if you submitted the claim.

Pros

The fact that the process is straightforward and is very intuitive, which makes the process less stressful than other similar tools.

Cons

What i liked least is the fact that I cant see easily recognisable elements found all-over the industry such as a HOME Button.

Not very good, especially when claiming per-diem- But it could be because of the way my Company needs me to submit the per diem.

Pros

Not much really. I have to say that the menu is clear but it is not so easy to find what I am looking for.

I find this system way more complex than similar ones I use in the past for claiming travel expenses

Initially it was good but we were receiving so many email notifications. This issue was first reported in September 2023 and despite several reminders this issue is still unresolved! In summary, software is good but unfortunately, customer service doe not care to resolve any issue.

Pros

Webexpenses software is very easy to use.

Cons

1) Mobile version needs lots of improvement. More than often there is issue with submitting expenses on mobile app. 2) Notification emails cannot be stopped and therefore there are hundreds of emails which is annoying.

Everything is exactly where you expect it to be, making the entire process straightforward and frustration-free. Overall, Webexpenses has removed the headache associated with expense management. It is a seamless and highly effective solution that genuinely delivers a smooth user experience.

Pros

The platform is incredibly easy to use. The mobile app lets you snap a photo of a receipt, and the system intelligently extracts the data instantly. It truly simplifies what used to be a tedious manual task. The straightforward UI deserves high praise. The design is clean, intuitive, and requires almost no training. Submitting claims and getting them approved is a quick, logical process from start to finish. What really stands out is the transparency of the process. You always know exactly where your claim stands in the approval workflow. There are no more black holes or guessing games; visibility is immediate for both employees and approvers.

Cons

While we are highly satisfied overall, a couple of minor pain points prevent a perfect score: Receipt Organisation: While uploading individual receipts is a breeze, the process of organizing those receipts into a larger claim can sometimes be a bit fiddly, requiring a few extra clicks to group items exactly how you want them. Occasional Login Glitches: We’ve experienced a handful of instances where logging in fails temporarily. It seems to resolve itself quickly and points to an occasional server-side hiccup rather than a user error, but it can be frustrating when you need quick access.

My overall experience is positive. As previously stated its easy to follow and manageable to keep on top of.

Pros

Web expenses is easy to follow which impeccable when submitting claims. In addition the system saves postcodes which is helpful and saves a lot of time.

Cons

Not that I don't like this, but it may be useful to save routes. The system often saves postcodes however not specific routes. This would save further admin time going forward.

I find it easy to add my expenses and upload the receipts. it is easy to go back and alter things if need to

Easy to navigate and follow the instructions. It is easy to upload your receipts as you get them so they dont get lost.

Cons

Nothing I don't like - I think if I had to suggest something it would be to make the arrows on the selection tabs easier to pull down as sometimes they jump back to the beginning

Not too hard to learn and once you use it is easy to continue to use every time. There are a few minor issues, but nothing major.

Pros

Ease of adding receipts and linking with Invoices. Approvals workflow works well with email sent and links provided.

Cons

Maps in New Zealand do not know well known places like Google Maps does. Receipts that have been added sometimes go missing and then reappear days later.

Cons

While the platform is generally easy to use, I’ve had frequent issues with the app not working properly. On several occasions, I’ve had to switch to the website just to log in and complete my expense submissions. It would be much more convenient if the app were more reliable, as the upload and navigation features are helpful when they work.

Easy platform to book my mileage and expenses and easy to plan my route. Takes no time at all to log my daily travel

If you are traveling in London, trying to remember your route is near on impossible so you can only log the distance.

Overall experience very positive, just discovered you can copy full claims so that is quite useful too. The layout and design make it easy to use.

Pros

Webexpenses is clear and easy to use, it has lots of features and can be used in multiple ways. For someone who isn't very techy I've really enjoyed using this.

Cons

There is a copy feature within your claim but it would be helpful if there was a way to remember journeys when doing mileage claims. Like as a feature and name them so you can just click that rather than having to input each one.

Pros

The process of submitting claims and attaching receipts is logical and intuitive. It provides a user-friendly method to organise claims and presents information clearly.

Cons

While it is logical and user friendly, it takes me a few minutes every time I use it to re-familiarise myself with the software. This is to be expected though so generally, no complaints.

I have only recently been using it in the last couple of weeks but I have found it straight forward so far and haven't come across anything that you can't figure out and even has a tour of where to go to find information.

Pros

Easiest expenses system I have used, easy to keep updated and update personal information, attaching documents and the copying tool really helps with efficiency

Cons

There isn't anything I have come across yet that I would describe as a con with using the webexpenses.

During my short time using Webexpenses I have found it extremely easy to use, both as a drafter of expenses for submission and as a reviewer of expense claims and would recommend it to other businesses looking for expense software.

Pros

Webexpenses has a user friendly interface and it is easy to create and submit expenses for review. It also integrates very well with our existing accounting software (Sage).

Cons

I have only been using it for a short time so have not encountered many cons to webexpenses. The only issue I have faced is updating my personal details, which can be not intuitive.

the receipt bit means duplicating it sometimes and was confusing to start with. it confuses me sometimes as i have to put my expenses through to be changed to euros
