Pros

Easy to use very functional for my bar/Tavern. Menu set up was a little confusing but once we got it all went smooth. Good customer service when I have called with a question or a problem since.

Cons

Training needs to be free. I bought your product the least you can do is teach me how to use it fully.- Until I am confident I know how to use it. I got 2 hours and had to "buy" an additional hour doing it all over the phone and setting it up by myself. Not cool!!! You might want to consider that. HOWEVER. Customer rep who trained me was excellent and caring. So on a personal level that was excellent.

The monthly subscription fee covers the software; which includes upgrades, bug fixes and new feature launches. ### "Touch Bistro makes my restaurant run right!"

Pros

Touch Bistro is a great and effective POS system for my restaurant. Featuring mobility, ease of use, flexibility and supreme functionality. Each server has a mini iPad and takes orders at the table, eliminating errors and speeding up the service process. Its flexible and functional making it easy for the Admin to make changes "on the fly" and create accurate, custom reports. The staff enjoys how user friendly the interface is for them to use and that they can customize the appearance of screens for quicker item reference. TB makes my business run!

Cons

No issues, runs well. TB has been great, consistently upgrading & updating versions.

I like using TouchBistro because is easy to use and has a lot of helpful tools. The customer service is great and every time I have a technical issue is resolved quickly.

Pros

It's easy to use and has many useful tools; it's reliable.

Cons

The cloud can be slow and sometimes gives inaccurate information

I am not very tech savvy, this program made me feel like I know what I am doing.

Pros

It is very user friendly and everything is thought of from a restaurant stand point. It is very thorough and visually easy.

Cons

It is a little slower than I would like because of so many thorough steps. The touch screen itself could be a little more sensitive. The wifi changes networks randomly in the middle of service.

It's terrible and I would urge any new brewery or restaurant to go in another direction because as soon as you get the product they don't care.

Pros

Nothing, everything about the product didn't work the way we were told and we had lines out the door.

Cons

Everything. The hardware and software didn't function like we were told it would and we had to switch to Toast in less than 2 weeks and TouchBistro wouldn't take the equipment back.

Pros

Layout is great for fast use at the tables. It sis also nice to be able and run credit cards in front of the guests.

Cons

Need to update the options more often. Admin for employees is a little frustrating. Too many options attached. It would be nice to be able to turn one thing off and not have it effect several options.

Running tracking reports, hourly stats and convent employee changes.

Pros

I like the ease in printing reports, changing the menu and adjusting charges quickly. It makes running reports and tracking sales convenient. The changing of menu items is easy and a plus.

Cons

The inconvenience of not being able to turn on/off remote printers and retrieving closed checks from a previous sales period.

Great app! Very easy to use and customise and I really like the cloud and being able to monitor sales in real time. The number of reports that can be generated is also really impressive - makes managing a restaurant so much easier.

I absolutely love the design and layout of the app. It is so easy to function and navigate, whether it be the set up of the lounge area or the overall function we use the most which is "starting tabs", and checking out. It's easy to add product/remove product and extremely clear on doing so. The functionality is superb and the flexibility of creating you're own personal layout makes it easy for visual learners. I would reccomend this app to any small business owner, big or small restaurant, or any Cafe. The only negative downside to this app, sometimes the app will freeze on the iPad - which I believe might be due to our server or the connection between our printer and the iPad . Other than that I think it's great! Pros

We like that it is easy to input, change and delete. They covered everything! The setup was easy and they are very quick to help with any issues that arise.

Cons

we would like to see more custom features for the icons and it would be nice to change the size of the borders on the graphics. We have not yet found any real cons!

So far over the first year of our use it's gone pretty smoothly. We had some issues with gift cards not being accept due to an update required for the TB software - that took a long time resolving but other than that it's been pretty good.

I got all the features i required for my use. Setup was easy due to the team helping me.

Pros

Ease of use, simple reports and the interface is just to love. Implementation was helped along by Touch Bistros's team and they were very helpful for the entire deployment.

Cons

More icons should be included, also multiple kitchen printers are a little bit hard to setup. But overall very easy to use software.

Great pos system using ipads. Simple and easy setup. local server based network for speed and security. Customer service is top notch - they were able to help me work through setting my menu and very complicated list of item modifiers

I like that touch bistro is easy to use both for servers and managers. Items can be modified quickly when needed. The only problem we've had is that sometimes things are not communicated to the correct printer.

Good for small restaurants only. For large restaurants. This system is not ideal. Too laggy and slow. The kitchen display systems fail daily that we don't even rely on it anymore.

I was quite happy with TB system when we first opened the shop but not anymore. It kicks us out from the system all the time. It is really annoying and risky as it mainly kicks us out from the system when our customers process their credit/debit cards or we send out the order to the kitchen or bar, which means lots of confusion with poor customer service. I talked & spent time with tech service but there seems to be no solution at all except me buying new version of iPads, which is again absurd, as we just opened about a year ago. Tech service or customer service of TB were lazy enough not to recommend me to get the most recent version of iPad and told me to get the oldest one back then. I will definitely switch to some other system whenever I have a chance, also with my second location. I cannot stand it anymore!

pros: It ha all we need to successfully run our POS needs, it is getting even better with the integration policy taking place now. cons: The staff privilege needs some improving as to allow manager to customize them. The take out and catering notifications needs also some improvement , it would be great to have a audible alert , instead of an screen message. Even better if it could alert cell phones. The paper usage on credit card transaction , printing two receipt . would be great if it can be optional, this feature is not of so much use for some venues.

Easy intuitive, easy to train, simple interface that makes it accessible for first time users and experts alike.

Cons

Not compatible with android systems. Not a fan of Apple products. If this system could be moved to different iOS it would be implemented in more establishments

### "Customer care not efficient"

Keeping track of all the numbers seems to be working well

Pros

Very easy to use and to figure out most of the basic issues

Cons

Their customer care is open 24/7 and thats great BUT be warned if you are stuck and neem immediate help it has taken anywhere from 30 min to 3 hours to get customer support when we really need it.
