They want to signed you when you signed with them do not answer the phone and the ignore you and your business and you cannot do nothing and they tell you a lot of money to cancel with them the service

### "The ease of setup and use is remarkable"

Pros

The ease with which I can manage my content. I also love the Portal and it's ability to get a somewhat realtime snapshot of the business even if I'm not there.

Cons

I'd like to be able to make updates to the content remotely. A way to run the app remotely (and still securely, VPN() would allow me the ability to troubleshoot or just manage things remotely.

Great customer service appreciation with how easy going it is.

Pros

The easyness in job to handle every situational things. Its very easy to use for the employees and as well as for the guests to get good service in time.

Cons

Sometimes it just hangs up and get disconnected from the admin which I am not sure why. But overall there is not any issues about the software.

Pros

how easy to use it is, all the employees find it easy to use and also its easier to train people with this app. how easier manage my business Touch bistro did.

Cons

Just the some time takes time to comunicate the ipad to the printer and this delay a bit the operation.

Pros

Easy to use. Easy to follow. Fast system. Easy to make changes to menu items and make price changes. Easy to add staff.

Cons

Reports are limited. I wish we were able to make more detailed reports. For example, I would like to be able to make a report of daily pax count in one report over period of time but system only allows one day at a time. Same would be for revenue.

### "Don't do it!"

Wasted lots of my time and caused deep frustrations for my staff and customers. Don't do it!

Pros

Nothing! It made everything harder. Don't do it!

Cons

End of Day requirement is completely unacceptable. Like most restaurants my FOH staff typically leave before the BOH staff. So they can’t run end of day before they leave because BOH staff are still clocked in. So not only does the opening manager have to run the end of day he also has to do clock in adjustments after doing EOD because there are BOH staff clocked in before he starts his shift and he has to force clock out those staff, re-clock them in, adjust their start time, and then delete the shift that they were clocked in for prior to the forced clock out. With Aloha EOD happens automatically at 4am. Nobody has to lift a finger Payroll is a nightmare. 7 shifts is not a solution for me. I would also note that the time keeping system allows for overlapping shifts which can be problematic if you do not catch them when auditing staff punches. Overlapping shifts easily occur with the force clock out situation associated with end of day.

Pros

The main desire for us a business is flexibility. With touchbistro change is at our finger tips every day at time, with easy to use management tools.

Cons

Set up was a hassle, and with electronics comes bugs, but even with those things we have found this was the best option for flexibility of business.

Multiple logins, multiple user access, Easy for people to login. Easy to control and user access with good security.

Cons

Dashboard hoped the dashboard has more features, more analytics, more drills down data. I liked the built-in server reports.

### "easy to use, overall well functional"

Our bartenders are happy about the system. Sometimes the system has error when we delete a table, or switch a table, and perhaps more attention to such areas. It's good if there is a key or bottom for tax only - sometimes we have promotion (such as Groupon) where the meals were prepaid, but guests only need to pay tax, and there should be such a key. Thanks

Pros

It's flexibility. Anything we need as a restaurant to run it can do and if it can't they are already working to fix it and release an update where it can.

Cons

The few times there is an error with something the messages that show up are a bit vague and so it can be hard to know exactly what went wrong.

### "Terrible Customer Service"

If you are an IT wizard and do not require much training this may be the system for you. My fear is that when something does go wrong when I go live that getting a hold of customer service will be impossible.

Pros

The system seems much more user friendly than your typical cumbersome POS systems like Aloha or Micros if you can get it setup.

Cons

Customer service is absolutely the worst. They require a 3 week lead time for all training and install appointments, I am building a restaurant from ground up and it is very difficult to know 3 weeks out where construction will be. The only department that responds promptly is sales, no other department puts any priority on follow ups. I asked to speak to someone in executive management and was told they are unavailable. So I reached out to the CEO Alex Barrotti through LinkedIn (seems this is the only way to contact anyone in executive management) and I received some condescending reply about how customer service works comparing install and training appointments to taking reservations for my restaurant. Clearly the poor customer service culture comes from the top.

### "Don’t get "

Pros

Nothing , nothing, nothing, nothing, great stress added to my day. Okay maybe you can do update to menu with some ease but don’t do it while service is going on it will effect credit card processing.

Cons

So many steps to do anything. Any Davy server can steal money with out any one finding out unless you make settings with more steps which also slows down service. Takes forever to get help support. I was told under 2 minutes but usually takes on average 30 min

We moved to TouchBistro last year during our summer operation. After reviewing many options we believed TouchBistro provided the best product for the cost and for our fine dining establishment, and we were correct. The transition was extremely smooth and the support was great. Our TouchBistro system performed well through our busy summer season. We are happy to be part of the TouchBistro family and look forward to even better things to come.

Most of everything is a pro, especially how easy it is to split tables and bills

Cons

The biggest thing missing is the ability to view aggregated reporting on the cloud, followed closely by not being able to look at immediate on-hand inventory on the cloud

### "Amazing system, even for a small business"

TouchBistro was the perfect solution for our small take-out/pizzeria. From install to training, everything was straightforward and simple. The support staff are great. We have lowered order mistakes, better control on add-ons and special orders and better efficiency at the counter. The sales statistics are very helpful and have helped us improve our bottom line. I highly recommend the software for even the smallest business.

My only complaint is the customer service is very sluggish! Otherwise the system works fine enough. I do not like that I can only use it on one IPad per license but I get it.

Pros

I compared 10+ tablet POS systems before purchasing TouchBistro. It is very user friendly, affordable and easy to customize.

Cons

My least favorite thing is the way it handles credit card voids. Instead of being able to void a charge, you have to create a new negative ticket and run the card again. It is clunky and not at all intuitive.

Love how efficient it for everything. Splitting bills, payroll, taxes, and mobile for large parties! Easy to navigate and very user friendly.

Cons

That you can't tell the difference between modifications done by the servers and the actually substitution on the kitchen chit.

Pros

Touch B - is reallllllllly easy to use....well..there's a bit of a learning curve, and some gettin used to on tha back end to setup everything....but once u dour golden...and it's easy....tha updates are reallly also helpful in ironing out tha bugs etc. We serve our customers faster now with less mistakes than before...with ordering as well as doing up tha tabs etc....we can also do specials and pricing on tha fly.....it's awesome....

Cons

To get tech support has beena friggin nightmare and the most frustrating so for us. I've mentioned this to our rep already...Not being able to speak to someone immediatley makes mme wanna pull my hair out, and then i have to leave a message and wait for a call back, also drives me insane.....because ive goten called back 4 hours AFTER leaving tha message...lunch service was done already, worst yet when i have problems DURiNG service and ther's no help. We've also had problems with printing....and sometimes the orders do no go thru..and we've found this after updataing tha last software..soo not sure about that.

Ease of use and training time is minimal. The fact that we can run reports, download .csvs and conduct our own analysis is especially helpful.

Cons

Cloud reporting capabilities are a bit underwhelming, but they are actively working towards improvement. In addition, the lack of bulk import/export .csv functionality for menu changes creates a cumbersome implementation during startup

Cons

Software could have better way to compare sales week over week, month over month, year over year. Cloud has connectivity problems.

Easy system to navigate; reporting is very simple; great customer service which is hard to find in this industry

Cons

Would like to be able to access some of the reports and editing features from the website if I'm not at the Taproom to access the iPad

### "Too expensive for what you get"

Functional and streamline but i think its pricey for what you get. As a small business owner in a small community it's a useful tool but it's an expensive overhead costs. Thousands of dollars to set up and hundreds a month is a bit much. I purchased an extra piece of equipment and returned it for my money back but it got lost on their end and I ended up being out several hundred dollars and no follow up after many attempts. Have had several disappointments with customer service but the app itself is decent.

Pros

Easy straight forward to use and program and keep track of daily sales.

Cons

Customer service is NOT up to par

### "Seasonal Business - but difficult in the off season"

The TouchBistro System worked great for our golf course. Our only issue came during the off season when we wanted to look at our reports. Since we had suspended our licence - which is a great option for a seasonal business to save money - we weren't able to access our reports. We were able to get a temporary release of our license so we could access the reports but this just took time and was tricky to co-ordinate. All the staff was friendly and excellent to work with.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to set-up.

Cons

Strictly the inability to access business information if your license isn't in operation.

The best feature of this software is the ease of use and simplified menu system. The learning curve for new staff is minutes not days.

Cons

If I had to pick holes I would say the graphic for setting up the restaurant layout could be improved with a little more flexibility.
