It has made follow up easy and given me a clear line of sight of the big picture and the capability of drilling down to a task level. Pros The user friendly design and broad variety of tools and features that makes follow up easy and powerful. Cons I have no comments regarding this question. When I'm finally able to return to my workplace, I'm taking Kanbanchi with me. Pros While I am sure to have benefitted from using Kanbanchi previous to the Covid-19 pandemic, I was getting by without it because my normal day-to-day schedule and priorities were largely dictated by my teaching schedule. When I found myself working from home and with much more time to focus on neglected projects and new ideas, Kanbanchi came to the rescue. It has allowed me to easily generate and organize my long term and daily objectives, share them with my project partners, and track my time on each task. Cons As a newer user, I'm not sure I'm even aware of all the features Kanbanchi includes, and at this point don't feel that anything is missing. March 29, 2018 5.0 Pros The integration with Gsuite makes it easy to attach anything stored in drive and put events to my calendar. I love the visual interface. It's so satisfying to drag tasks to the 'done' section! Also, the percentage done feature is great. It's like a mini project plan. Cons I wish there was a little more customization allowed with the integrations. I would like to be able to push notifications to my calendar for a customizable time each day, for example. I have to switch it to 7AM every time so it doesn't block off time on my calendar that people can't schedule with me. Also, I wish you could just add a link (we use box as well as drive) instead of having to attach a file via drive. Review Source MB Megan B. Cons The renewal process. When our subscription was up for renewal, no reminders were sent from Kanbanchi and our entire team immediately lost access to our boards. Even an automated reminder would have saved us the trouble of being without that access for several weeks (because our admin had to get approval to renew, re-verify our non-profit status as well). At the very LEAST you should let users view their boards once renewal is up, if not able to update / use its features. As we were heavily involved with Google Suite, Kanbanchi made the most sense. Pros Kanbanchi is great! It enables our company to be efficient and collaborative with our tasks. People can work together on projects and there is definitely more accountability with the due dates and the visibility. In addition to these, Kanbanchi is integrated with G Suite. You can save the project on Google Drive. Cons There is currently no smartphone version of Kanbanchi, which is a shame because I would love to use this on the go. At the same time, the Gantt Chart which is an essential feature, is only available on the premium version. Review Source MW Mildred W. I love that is integrated with Google! so easy to deploy. All our leadership team can share and we can add files from our Google Drive or other sources. It feels part of Google Suite. Cons The feature I like to see is that when you have sub cards in a board those cards can be hide or show. Right now is only show option is can make the board a little long. It makes task prioritization, time tracking, and project scheduling very easy. The ability to add new tasks via email is one of the features that first caught our attention. Pros Customizable, easy to use for a single person or collaborating with a team. Cons Time reporting is good, but could use more development for quick access of what our executives want to see. A very clear interface and a great support-team. Pros The collaboration with Google Workspace. We were looking for a tool that integrates easy with out Google Workspace environment. Kanbanchi gives us what we need. First olf all, integration with google calendar. If you are using a lot of cards, it will get a bit unclear. But that will be the case with many other kanban tools. The use of subtasks is a great solution that will solve this problem us. Cons The possibility of translating Kanbachi in Dutch. But this is a minor issue. If using this in a classroom in a primary school, thius can be an issue. We set one up from scratch in minutes. Progress/priority and descriptions are very visible and easy to see very quickly. Cons NO APP! Also doesn't work on tablet or smartphone browsers. As a business we are always on the move but also moving quickly with workflows and approvals. Therefore we need to be able to update on the go. If not an App then at least a mobile friendly (responsive) version is needed ASAP You also can't comment or contact i.e. @somone directly. We love that we can collaborate on boards, especially since it's so seamlessly connected to Google Apps. However, it's hard to discuss things within Kanbanchi. Perhaps inline messaging within comments, or a notification system for new messages within cards a user follows. - more granular permissions to allow certain users (in this case, students) to be limited in functionalities (assigning or un-assigning others to cards, deleting cards or columns, changing tags, changing wallpapers and other UI elements, etc.) Review Source BB Ben B. Managed our business through kanbanchi for 2 years now. we have developed a lot of processes through this software. everyone likes it and that makes it easy to train people. We have got out ISO certification using this software and planning to develop it further in the years to come. Pros It's easy to learn, easy to use, quite fast in comparison to most other Softwares. Works on all browsers with no issues and its interface is very adaptable to different sectors of business. Cons The software mobile version is a bit clunky. It needs a mobile app. that is all. We serve clients and having the ability to put priority tags on a project help to translate to all employees within our company where to focus their attention. We also greatly utilize the commenting tool as a way to communicate to each other about who is handling the various projects. Cons It would be great if checklists pinned automatically so that you can see them on the card preview.
