Pros: After doing computer repair for 20 years and point of sale for retail, restaurants, and hotels - I can honestly say that Breadcrumb offers one of the best solutions. Apple Hardware-based, good hard-wired printers, good quality, and solid router/firewall installs with the best equipment out there. I feel like this POS offering is more resilient and reliable than the competitors due to the good hardware and the easy to use APP. Calling into support day or late at night you will speak to a knowledgeable and helpful tech who gets you the info you need to carry on business. They have remote access and can see where the problem is - instead of sending you an overpriced technician from out of state at twice the price because you're mysteriously not up and running (rare). No service is perfect but having a reliable tech on the other end of the phone is worth it's weight in gold.

Cons: I would guess that a con is the high price of hardware but that's unavoidable - if you're using the best hardware available (Apple, StarTSP, Cisco Meraki) then it might carry a higher price tag but the tradeoff is reliability. You wouldn't get Breadcrumb if you're trying to cut corners and save money - this is the real deal iPad based and dependable system. Cost is always on the mind of business owners so this could be an issue for some business owners but if you aren't spending an hour a day working through tech issues aren't you really just saving money in the long run?

Overall: I am an IT tech who has installed and maintained every type of POS out there. This is definitely one of my favorites for restaurants with one station or ten. Great for bars and restaurants with heavy traffic - very reliable.

Comments: I've had Breadcrumb for 3 years now at my restaurant. The first two years it was adequate, easy to use and more or less stable in spite of a few server outages here and there. However, the back-end was pretty cumbersome, full of dead ends and potholes that could easily be fixed with a tiny bit of coding. For instance, if you want to edit a menu item, but while editing you choose to add the item to a new display group, the page changes and does not save your edits to date. Also, you can never delete a menu item. You can archive, but not in batches, so it takes forever. But whatever, overall good enough to not have to go through the hassle of switching to a new pos system. Since Breadcrumb has been acquired by Upserve last year, it's been a gradual downhill slide to stupidity. The first few months it seemed all they cared about was to convert their new Breadcrumb customers to Upserve products -- things we just do not need -- instead of focusing hard and quick on improving the new system they were in charge of. Since then, it has gotten worse. There have been server outages on busy Saturday nights, mandatory software updates -- on busy Saturday nights ... you get the picture. Uber frustrating. And frankly, there has been next to nothing done to improve the software use, or extend features. It seems as if Upserve is not capable of handling the new transition, and I am done complaining to them about functionality. The support team is nice and sympathetic, but they have no power to make the changes we need. We will be moving on to TouchBistro in the coming month. I would not get involved with this POS, it seems to be on a downward slope to obsolescence.

Cons: Bad server uptime Inconsiderate management of maintenance schedules such as software upgrades Limited front end and back end features

Pros: Very friendly interface for any level user, even the back office is pretty easy to deal with.

There is a 24/7 support that you can contact direct from your terminal.

Good rate when compared to other competitors.

The team that works for Breadcrumb is always willing to help.

Cons: User security is not the best deal, any employee can clock in/out without supervisor approval.

There should be more detailed security levels, for example, I do not want my manager to change roles, but if they can manage users they can manage roles as well.

Split Checks should be easier to deal with. Additionally to that you cannot use the same table until the previous check is closed.

Overall: We are using the POS system in our 4 corporate restaurants and will be migrating the last one in 2 months. We use it for the employees to clock in/out, open checks for the guests, close checks, and receive payments.

It addresses better control for our restaurant operation, in fact, we have some concern about the security related to users, but I love Breadcrumb because their team is always up to improve the system according to our needs.

For any restaurant business, this is a very good system.

Pros: The tech support provided by Breadcrumb is what I wish all our technology partners (wifi support, social media support, computer tech, customer reservation software) used here at Boulder Creek Lodge could emulate. My experience has been that the tech support is fast, polite, talented knowledgeable of the Breadcrumb software to provide quick and effective tech support.

Cons: Often our resort hosts corporate guests that stay with us over more than just one day. The guest has a desire to "run a tab" over perhaps a month. Right now from what we are told we need to close out every night. It would help us avoid recording restaurant purchases in a note pad and adding then creating a ticket the last day of their stay.

Overall: The software is easy to use, intuitive and designed obviously by several successful, former restaurant owners. Features are bountiful, but all times they are open to improvements or additions.

Pros: This software is great and the analytics are super powerful. It can tell you what sever's are performing best, new vs repeat customers based on credit card data etc. Definitely ahead of the curve technologically. It's efficient and incredibly stable. We are VERY happy customers.

Cons: The only two con's (I have) are that:

1) there's not a "No Sale" report for people opening the cash register without a sale.

2) If you are a bar where more than one person touches a tab, the employee performance analytics are useless as it assigns the sale to the person who opened/closed the tab (not the person adding items to it).

Overall: Awesome analytics, great reporting tools and easily compatible with other third party vendors.

Pros: Very easy to setup.

Very easy to train.

Figuring out solutions without contacting support is straightforward

Cons: Still needs web enabled tweaks to reduce repetitive entry on setup

Inability to set printers based on role (not just iPad location) means lots of thrown away tickets

Doesn't always find new IP based on mac address, sometimes has to be manually set

Tech support not well-versed in the Meraki setup so not very good at troubleshooting (Even Tier 2 clearly doesn't know how to solve lots of problems)

Software updates are tenuous and can require a lot more interaction than I prefer. Often having to turn off the other tablets or rebooting tablets multiple times before it will update.

Overall: Overall it has been a positive as far as usage, reliability, and training. Support has been mostly helpful but even Tier 2 doesn't seem to be well-versed to solve the more complex problems. When it becomes more complex, the ticket often just remains unsolved and gets closed out.

Pros: Having trained lots of people to use it, everyone seems really impressed with how 'easy' it is to learn. I like that there are several ways to do almost anything. Also, on the admin side, the reporting is fantastic. I love being able to edit items and check reports for multiple locations in real time, from anywhere.

Cons: I only have a few real complaints. First it would be very helpful to transfer tabs in bulk. In some locations there is a changeover that occurs everynight which is common going to back to old 'banger' days, where bartenders each had their own drawer. Breadcrumb does not make this very easy as each tab has to be transferred one at a time and approved one at a time, small issue, but a bit of nuisance. Also, it would be helpful if modifiers could have more options, not just up a dollar or two / down a dollar or two, but include multipliers.

Comments: I have been trying for weeks to get breadcrumb to do anything about compensating us for our monetary losses, the hours invested in all of this, and not much has been done. The system is not that expensive overall, so I guess you get what you pay for. They are simply not ready for primetime.

Pros: This is actually a great product, with the platform that is more expensive than any other that I've seen without costing $ and being hardware focused.

Cons: We took on this product in October 2016, and it has gotten progressively worse since then. We trained and showed everyone how to have a system work, and now we are shopping for other options, as this system regularly fails in the middle of service creating mass chaos for all of my staff who have to deal with crash kits and do their best to continue service. The system has offered a serious hit to our staff morale.

Pros: Great Remote access and seamless menu updates especially when added remotely. Items added or changed through our previous point of sale system would have required a two to three minute reboot for the changes to update. The system incorporates comprehensive and useful analytics through breadcrumb hq and upserve. Can see what items are selling/profitable on a customizable timeframe.

Cons: Times of full system updates. time frame. Than that I don't have any major concerns. Some of the hardware does lose its functionality over a short period of time ( ie: having to disconnect the casing to plug in an iPhone cable when the credit card sweeper stops charging the device from an android charger)

Overall: It takes money from people and puts it in my bank.

Pros: The mobile app and reporting make immediate data easily accessible. The reports are presented simply & cleanly.

Cons: It's not very customizable. The software or the software developers, are unable/unwilling to adjust to varied needs of different types of restaurants. While this is likely the case for most POS systems, we've found that other software integrations we use are much more readily willing to adjust and make custom improvements that directly benefit our restaurant.

We also found that the on boarding process lacked a bit of personalization. Had our contacts taken more time to discuss with us our needs and understand how we operate, it would have saved us a lot of time and effort in having to redo the way things were initially setup - especially in regards to the menu databases.

Lastly, while this wont be an issue longterm, in our first year using Breadcrumb, it's frustrating that there's no way to import our previous years' data. Rather than being able to compare numbers year-over-year, we can only see week-over-week and are forced to fall back on our old tracking methods such as a separate spreadsheet in order to measure the bigger picture. What seems like it should be a simple data pull that would help us run much more efficiently was shut down by the support team who told us it was not doable.

Pros: Ease of Use. Classic POS setup, but best for a smaller operation. Modifying / Open Food Items / Adding menu items / updating menus can be quite tedious. A daily checkout report and the ability for my accountant to have direct access to the POS system is nice.

Cons: Business practices. Take it or leave it attitude. Practices that practically force you to use their credit card processing. Works out to a month extra hidden fees to use your own credit card processor. The outrageous monthly expense to add Grubhub/Seamless. The outrageous monthly expense for them to hold your data after you leave them. It's almost better for them to not have a customer and just collect fees a month.

Pros: The program is easy to use and functional. Being able to open search for items on the menu is very nice. Easy to teach and it is nice being able to put recipes directly into the menu.

Cons: Creating menu items is a hassle if you're making multiple changes. It would be nice if you added some filter options for creating and editing the menus, employees, and labor options. Separating large checks and collecting payments needs work it is definitely one of the worst point of sale systems in that regard.

Overall: Overall the customer service is usually stellar/top-notch. The program is easy to use and to teach.

Pros: Reports are easy to run and understand.

Data can be exported to Excel for additional sorting/reporting.

Works very well for tracking deposits and applying them later (we use for events).

Cons: Client has had issues with dropped data on busy days - possible system overload?

I've caught a few transactions that didn't total correctly (throws off my numbers) but I'm not sure if this is a user error or system glitch.

Overall: I use Breadcrumb to gather manual data for entry to QuickBooks. It's easy to operate and run reports, accurate, flexible and my client's business has grown, Breadcrumb has met their needs. I handle an average of 7-10 breweries per month and this is one of my favorite POS systems.

Pros: The software is definitely user friendly when using the back end. Unlike other programs that are difficult to access and to navigate. We are able to easily add categories when need be without any issues.

Cons: The only issue is when editing an employee's time it automatically makes its own changes while I am making mine. For instance- If an employee forgets to clock out the time will look like so: Clock in: 4:00 pm Clock out : 5:00 am - since it automatically clocks the employee out at 5:00 am the next day when I go to change it it changes the clock in time to whatever it thinks I am going to change it to when in actuality I am not changing the clock in time at all ONLY the clock out. It is difficult to explain without a visual. It just a quirky little glitch that happens.

Pros: My favorite feature on Breadcrumb POS is open tab pre-authorizations. Removing the aspect of responsibility for a customer's credit card is a very underrated aspect of running a bar. Customers appreciate it and it just makes keeping tabs open a more favorable option for us as well as the customer.

Cons: Syncing across devices can be spotty at times, especially if the device is sleeping.

Pros: We really like how intuitive the system is. Staff training is really simple and menu set up is great.

Cons: The software updates typically happen at not-so-convenient times (like on a Friday at 4:00 in the middle of our happy hour rush).

Overall: We really enjoy all of the features Breadcrumb offers. When we first got the system, we were only using it to ring items in and take payment. We have configured it to now accurately give us our sales reports as well as clocking in our employees.

Pros: What I like about Breadcrumb is that it is very user friendly. I found that I was able to figure most things out on my own, without having to get support. However, when you do need support, the ability to chat with someone online is very useful!

Cons: I have no real complaints thus far. If I had to choose something, it would be that for a tasting menu we have not yet found the best way to set up the ringing in of the menu and being able to fire each course. We will be contacting support about this to see what can be done.

Pros: I love the ease of pulling up reports, checks, editing the menus, staff, etc. It is very user friendly!

Everything is so quick to update too.

I love that it operates offline too when necessary

Cons: I can't do certain functions

Most recently:

Transfer a check after the next trading day

Doesn't link to quickbooks online directly - need to go through a 3rd party

Can't pull up a particular employee's check out report from a previous day; can only pull up master check out

Overall: I am very satisfied. There are the little things here and there, but definitely the pros outweigh the cons.

Pros: Very user friendly when adding or changing menu items for management use. Easy for servers to ring in orders and make notes on dishes to communicate with the kitchen.

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything I don't like. It is much better than previous software that I have worked with.

Overall: So far my experience has been very good. I really like to be able to search for items if I am unable to find the item I am looking for instead of having to look through multiple tabs. I also had a great experience calling customer service, they were very knowledgeable and friendly while helping talking me through how to solve my problem.

Pros: The front of house interface is incredibly easy to use, and the feedback from my servers has been the same. Back of house setup is also very easy, and reporting is adequate for a small business like mine. The price is also very good for what you get.

Overall: It's come a long way since Upserve acquired them. The customer service used to be really lacking, and there used to be a lot of service outages. There's been a huge improvement there. The new app is much better, but I'd like to see more information available on it.

Pros: It is easy to use and train new empolyees - Very flexible in setting up the system. The support from Upserve is very responsive.

Cons: Reporting has improved, but could get better and isstill not very flexible. An improvement in this area would be beneficial.

Pros: Super simple interface. I love that it is iOS based and items can be changed on the fly from any station. Also great reporting on the back end and I love that it includes a costing function.

Cons: That it apparently is not taking on any additional customers and appears to be going out of business. I was told the whole team had been let go and Groupon, their parent company, was closing up their shop. Also support could have been slightly more helpful and it would be nice to have better note functions. A scheduling function would be nice. Emailed individual daily sales to employees and the ability to account for tips that have been split between multiple employees, i.e. tipping out.

Recommendations to other buyers: Choose a product that can already accommodate all of your needs. Don't choose one based on price and try to jerry-rig it to get it to where you need. POS software should be very flexible and be capable of accommodating all of your changing needs.

Pros: easy to setup and use, portable, can have as many stations as i need, can just add new ones when i need.

Cons: when offline you cannot use giftcards or type in cc #'s, also they do not have a hardwired terminal so if your internet goes it can be a pain in the butt. once you create an item you cannot delete it just have to archive it. when your creating items and you save it it auto puts you back at the beginning instead of the sub folder you were in

Pros: The ease of programming allows you to make changes on the fly.

Cons: It can be inflexible, especially some of the new features. Particularly the Tip Pool

Overall: It has transformed my business. At times, though, customer service lacks. Hard to get a hold of and rarely is there follow up, even when it is promised. The easy of use makes it easy to fix things yourself.

Pros: I like the ability to track individual items and see how certain things are performing. The iPad is really easy to use and train people how to use. Tip pooling also works great.

Cons: Setting up items can be tedious, and menu editing could be better.

Pros: Upserve and all of their employees have been very helpful. From the transition of our credit card processing to walking us through the system and even on the accounting side. They have always been available and always come onsite to help me out instead of just passing me off through emails like other companies. They follow up after every interaction to make sure i got what i needed out of the meeting and to make sure everything is set. I have enjoyed everyone I have worked with through Upserve, and the app is amazing for a person who runs multiple locations like myself. I cant be in two places at once but this app makes me feel like I'm in the know all the time.

Cons: I haven't come across anything about the software that I didn't like. Any issues/questions that have come up have been solved almost immediately by the team.

Comments: The good about Breadcrumb is that they are partners with your business, they will always try to improve the problems we find in the system.

Pros: it works perfect for me , i can check sales , labor , comps/voids from my phone without being at the restaurant, the reports it gives you are great.

Cons: due to the high demand it had crashed nation wide a couple of times in the pastas

Pros: How user friendly it is. It's easy to add in items and delete. You don't need a ton of training to get it up and running. Customer service is always so helpful.

Cons: It's an app so sometimes needs to be refreshed. When your working in a high volume environment that can be a bit of a stumbling block.

Overall: Compared to its competitors an absolute walk in the park. So self explanatory and easy to customize.

Pros: Quick, easy and simplified. Easy access for small business owners to quickly get the important information they need. Items are easy to add etc.

Cons: When the restaurant grows, the software starts to have downfalls. Reports then are slightly limited as we've grown to have more managers that only need limited access. The printers didn't want to sync to our wireless system so we had to bring them back out to do a wired set up.

Overall: Overall it's been very positive with minor hiccups. I will say that the support is great which is a huge positive. You talk to an English speaking operator 24/7.

Pros: This Point of Sale system is one of the easiest ones I have used, almost zero training. The reporting is great.

Cons: I wish it did better with items. The ability to have sub items and remove from inventory better would be great.

Overall: The best benefits of this system is the amount of training. The vast amount of time that it takes to train both front of the house as well as back of the house is so minimal. Most POS systems require hours of training and errors that can be extremely frustrating. We installed this system and people just started working on it with zero training.

Overall a very good experience. The latest major update from 2 yrs ago fixed the majority of bugs.

Cons: Printing lists under categories I've created are difficult. They aren't in lines in a neat order. Takes too many pages to print. Sometimes I want to review my menu entries by categories so I can update and/or edit.

Pros: User friendly and the ability for tech-support to put their thumb on the problem. Super simple to bounce out to QuickBooks. Easy to set up a menu .

Cons: Offline mode. Other than that there are not really many bad things to say about breadcrumb. I love you and I have it in all the restaurants and bars that we are.

Pros: I like the ability to make changes from anywhere and their ability to constantly update based on customer feedback unlike the archaic and expensive older POS systems.

Cons: The hardware doesn't always last as long as it should, the cc swipers, specifically. They either quit running cards or quit holding a charge.

Pros: Everything from how easy it is to use. The detais which it provides. The fact that anytume there is a problem that can not be solved by myself or one of the users you can call Breadcrumb support and immediately a customer support representative will make sure you can solve any issue that can not be solved by the user of the software. The fact that you can have any analysis needed! Everything!!

Cons: That I had not used it earlier. That sometimes when you want to create new sections it is not that easy to do on my own. That though is easier in time.

Overall: To spend more time with the other functions of running the restaurant.

Pros: Ease of use. Whenever I'm unsure about how to do something my first guess is usually correct as the UI is well designed. The customer service is usually very helpful for solving issues.

Cons: Some of the offline limitations. We have been told that if we go offline not due to Breadcrumb/Upserve that we are out money if a transaction goes missing. This is a SERIOUS issue that we did not know when we signed up and may be a reason for us to leave.

Overall: It allows me to run my bar!

Pros: Changing menu items on the fly, correcting mistakes from a previous trading day.

The search function expedites the ordering process for servers.

The quick serve function is great for to go orders.

Cons: Splitting checks, and splitting items is less than intuitive for some servers. For others, it's just a learning curve. While operating in offline mode is great, some of the problems that arise from it are a bit problematic. Again, this may be just a learning curve.

Not being able to select a default tax rate has resulted in a loss of money, albeit small in the short term.

We are a small restaurant that uses Breadcrumb for our POS. We have two terminals.

Pros: I think it is a great systems. For management, it is easy to program and change items. For staff, the program is as easy as using a smart phone. New hires get it with-in 2 or 3 days.

Cons: Sometime it goes offline and the printers don't work, but the benefit of offline mode makes up for that completely.

I use the Upserve App to have access to live sales information at any time.

Pros: It is live, so I know what is going on at any given moment in my restaurant. It provides information about labor, voids, and discounts, as well as comparisons to previous week or year. Very user friendly, easy viewing, and fast!

Cons: There is nothing that I don't like about the software itself. Sometimes it is difficult to get support on the phone immediately, and our credit card processing fee percentage is on the high side.

Overall: Live access to sales information.

The Customer Support team makes this the best POS I've worked with.

Pros: No matter what issue arises, I can call customer support 24/7 and there is always someone courteous, professional and knowledgeable on the other line. Issues are always resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

Cons: The back button on the menu (backend) doesn't take you back to the previous screen but to the start of the menus. I haven't figured out how to track inventory against par values ( also backend) or if it's even possible.

Overall: Effective system, easy to use and terrific customer support.

Pros: If you have staff born after 1990, this software is going to be super simple for them to pick up and use immediately. Its so simple - there are no real "tricks" about the software - its just that easy!

Cons: I don't like that it hasn't been optimized for fast casual service yet - once you close a check, you have to do manual math to "refund" the customer on the same business day. I also wish the downloadable reports were easier to read. CSV documents have no formatting whatsoever, and it becomes hard to read. I've ended up simply printing the reports webpage, rather than downloading individual reports. I also wish I could run reports on specific items and their sell trends.

Overall: This software is super simple to use, and super easy to pick up on the spot. Sometimes support can be a challenge to get in touch with - especially the chat function. The support function on the POS software itself will close every time your screen times out, so be sure to keep touching the screen to keep your chat window alive!

Pros: Easy to use and train FOH staff. Backend is intuitive and easy to use

Cons: Not quite perfectly setup for fine dining, and we don't have great printer control or ability to control how the kitchen chits look or are laid out. I'm still waiting for an promised integration with SevenRooms that hasn't happened.

Overall: Quite good, but better integrations would allow me to get data across the various software pieces that I use. The system is super stable and reliable, so it's honestly hard to complain too much.

Pros: The ease of use, and learning all the bells and whistles couldn't be easier. We are a taproom with no food, but plenty of options (pour size, beer and shot pairings, cocktails, wine, etc), and we had no troubles getting it installed, getting our employees up and running, etc. Running reports (labor, product mix, sales, etc) is a breeze. Easily my favorite after years of Aloha, Lavu, Toast, etc.

Cons: I can't really say I have had any negative experiences. Well, we had a special one day menu and when we implemented it, every single item on the menu had sales tax (previously were tax inclusive). But it could be user error on our part, as the person who made the menu was not too familiar with the program.

Overall: Streamlined reporting, a user-interface that allows us to operate with increased efficiency during peak times, and a customizable back end that we can easily tailor to suit the needs of a new business that needs constant change and evolution.

Pros: The software is intuitive and easy to configure. Changes are easy to make and instantaneous. Reporting is great. Especially automated nightly reporting and live reporting thru the app.

Cons: The software is stable but still has network outages every once in a while. Some could be local network, other could be BC servers. But still very stable overall

Pros: The interface/GUI is easy to use, the back end user interface was easy to update. I'm struggling to come up with any other redeeming qualities of this software platform.

Pros: This is the easiest POS system to use I have ever encountered. It is super intuitive. The reports are very customizable. The refund procedure is super simple.

Cons: The Ipads require updates sometimes in the middle of the shift. It is also hard to keep them charging. We have had to replace multiple cords.

Pros: The offline mode is key feature. We are in an area of the country that doesn't have the best ISP coverage so this feature alone has saved us thousands of dollars.

Cons: Currently none.

Overall: I've been a long time BreadCrumb user and since Upserve has taken over BreadCrumb, the support is significantly better. I can now call a 2:00am on a Saturday and get a live person.

Breadcrumb has been an essential part of making my new restaurant and bar a successful one!

Pros: The ease of use and the amount of data that actually matters is absolutely amazing. Being able to pull reports that helps me connect with my customers and understand my business on a granular level has helped me tremendously

Cons: There are a lot of features and nuances within the system. Because of this, getting the system configured and setup for my particular environment has taken some time. Once the system is in place correctly however, its well worth it.

Pros: Pretty intuitive, and information is organized well. I like that it isn't hard to figure out basic functionality, and when you do have a question the support articles are super helpful.

Cons: Working in offline mode can really put a damper on things, but that is few and far between. I also wish that the 86 function would automatically update and show on all screens, not just the home screen. Also, notifications of 86 items when you log in would be really nice.

Pros: I Loved the sales guy at first, he made me so many promises.....but then...when it came down to performing....they fell apart....if you like being lied to, and loosing money and worst of all customers.....use this company

Cons: No drawer reconciliation, Cant handle same day refunds doesn't print out receipts for customers stating they are getting refunds...you cant differentiate terminals, meaning cooks cant tell if your drive thru window sent an order or if your walk up window did! Refunding takes over 5 steps.....if you have a fast paced environment.....Good Luck! This isnt for you!!

Overall: Dealing with customer service is by far the worst experience ever...you get bounced around told different things by each employee and it's all lies, then they try to steal your money for services never completed or rendered!!! Complete fraud

Pros: Very cheap subscription fees, incredibly competitive processing fees. Excellent UI and reporting interface.

Cons: Repeated connectivity issues lasting for about 30 seconds, makes us unable to send in orders and occasionally drops payments. Lacking some essential customization features that would suit my restaurant.

Overall: Better efficiencies in my restaurant, drastically reduced pricing all around.

Pros: I like the daily and monthly reports that you can draw up as well as he fact that we feel like a chain restaurant because of its capabilities. As a small business this is what sets ups apart from others in our vicinity.

Cons: Ideally the only thing I don't like about the software is the many updates. Sometimes the system forces an update which hinders the workflow.

Pros: I've been in restaurants for 15 years and have always thought the POS is the most dreaded and difficult part of serving but I hopped and Breadcrumps with zero training and was able to figure it all out with ease.

Cons: The iPad systems can be very sensitive to the touch. I have to double check to make sure things weren't selected more than once.

Pros: I love the detailed break down of all the analytics available right from my phone.

Cons: I don't personally feel there is any real issues with the software. If I had to pick one thing I would say try and consolidate everything to one app instead of having upsever hq, breadcrumb hq, simple order. A one stop shop would be awesome

Overall: This software lets me keep a closer eye on my employees, and my gross sales while breaking down what items work better for my bar. This is going to help cut inventory costs and become more profitable .

Pros: Software is super easy to use. You should be able to set it up and train a server in 20 minutes or less.

Cons: The only thing I don't like so far are the tabs. I know I can change them to have less but then it's harder to find items in each category. It might be better to have one page with a bunch of categories that brings you to the item list instead of scrolling through a bunch of small tabs.

Pros: I like analytics. I like being able to see sales from my phone. I like being able to track payroll hours.

Cons: It doesn't seem built for a fast paced bar environment. Transferring of tabs is terrible - it doesn't give a total of what you are transferring and the process of transferring is tedious and takes a long time. Comp buttons are a multi step process and the features of comps are frankly clunky. There are other issues as well that take too many steps to complete. Visually you can't put in pictures so some bartenders find it difficult to find stuff as so they use the search button for everything.

Overall this is a great program to use.

Pros: Most features are intuitive for our staff to use. Prepopulating check names from a credit card swipe is huge since it makes them all uniform and saves bar staff significant time both having to enter them and then searching for however whomever put them in put them in

Cons: Some features and categories are overly complicated. Would prefer different packages streamlined for different business types. For example, we do not serve food nor do online ordering so all those options are just another opportunity for someone to enter information incorrectly

Cons: Breadcrumb software is not very user friendly compared to other POS systems we have used. There are limitations with reporting and keeping logistics simple seems to be a challenge with layers of unnecessary toggles.

Pros: The software is easy to navigate around and the software is easy to teach my staff. Everything is accessible for myself as a manager and I absolutely love it.

Cons: One thing I disliked about the software was nothing.

Overall: My overall experience with breadcrumb has been nothing but exceptional. Even when I did run into issues, I was able to troubleshoot it with their support team who was nothing more than helpful and patient but most importantly did not make me feel like a stupid client.

Pros: Having reports that are easily accessible and can be sent daily to your email. It is also very easy to train other staff that are new to the system, everything is easy to navigate.

Cons: It's really tricky to add items and group them appropriately, most of the time I always call customer service and they end up doing it for me but the more time you dedicate to learning how the software works the better. Upgrades are also very frustrating because they prevent the use of the software if you do not complete the upgrade.
