Key user insights about CentralReach

Data management

Based on 35 reviews
Users find CentralReach helpful for organizing and tracking data, eliminating the need for manual data sheets and calculations. They appreciate the seamless interface for data collection, entry, analysis, and program development, which makes administrative duties more efficient. However, users experience frustration with frequent system crashes, manual data entry requirements, and occasional system unavailability, which can disrupt their workflow and data integrity.

Client data collection

Based on 19 reviews

Reviewers value CentralReach's all-inclusive product for client information, scheduling, data collection, and reporting, which streamlines their business operations. They find it easy to track client goals and appreciate the ability to view client progress through graphs. Nonetheless, users encounter issues with slow software performance, difficulties in data conversion, and challenges when multiple users attempt to collect data on the same client.

Pros

  • They are patient and responsive and ease the frustration of the learning curve to get this up and running. It's a quality product and has been very reliable.

  • Love using timesheets and my favorite is converting sessions. Easy to use, self explanatory and very reliable.

  • I love working on CR, because it is a program that over all I under how to navigate most of it, it’s easy and user friendly.

  • We think Central Reach is a great program but our Customer Success team member, is what makes this program outstanding.

Cons

  • I have to cut off providers who are leaving on a certain day and may miss out on a week of services because I'm being charged for an entire month subscription only being used for a day or two.

  • The main negative is the price. As our company has grown so has our monthly bill limiting the amount of upgrades we can afford to use.

  • On more than one occasion, the program has frozen up or logged me out and I have lost some session notes as a result.

  • There tends to be at most weekly and at least monthly system failures when I cannot access the data portion of my charts. This prolongs the reporting procedures and can effect the accuracy of my data.

"Central Review"

Overall: I would definitely recommend this software for a normal computer usage, not the app

Pros: It optimizes a lot of work. We use it to do clinical assessments and it does a great job

Cons: I believe that there is a lot of improvement areas in the mobil app

Thank you for the positive review Jose! We're very pleased to be able to help you with your day-to-day work needs. As for the app we are actively improving it and have a new version coming out very soon!

"Newer user"

Overall: Our ABA department really loves the program, and for their use it is efficient and compliant.

Pros: The implementation process was very organized, thoroughly communicated, and professionally managed. All inquiries were handled with courtesy and professionalism. Support needs, while very few, are promptly addressed and resolved.

Cons: Program setup seems more intricate than other programs I've used. Multiple levels of user setup, connecting providers to one another and clients, attaching templates to service codes, etc, seems rather cumbersome and, at times, confusing.

Reasons for Choosing CentralReach: Documentation parameters were more industry specific

"High Hopes, Massive Letdown"

Overall: Extremely poor customer service. Extremely expensive for poor follow through.

Pros: The graphing and data collection portion of the software displays in a very clean and clear way. I enjoyed programming with Central Reach because of the thousands of configuration options--it helped me be creative as a practitioner without having to reinvent the wheel multiple times because I could bank goals.

Cons: Customer Service was good when available, but it was extremely difficult to receive the level of help I needed in a timely fashion. I am a small operation. Every single delayed claim impacts my livelihood. Waiting a month for an appointment or email response is taxing--waiting SIX MONTHS for technical issues to even be responded to is not acceptable.

Reasons for Choosing CentralReach: I chose CR initially because I had a positive experience with them at another company.

"CentralReach For ABA Data Collection and Storage"

Overall: I am able to record and store all my clients data easily in one safe place.

Pros: I like how CentralReach systematically prompt fades as the client got closer to acheiving our behavioral targets. It was relatively simple to use and I use it for 7 hours each day so that's a huge help!

Cons: Although I know that it's imperative for the system to log out after a period of pause for HIPPA reasons, however, I wish the system let you stay logged on for a bit longer since I would constantly have to re-log back in during the time I was administering DTTs.

"Central Reach vs Kareo"

Pros: I like how user friendly this software is. I am able to track cancellations, authorizations, and the amount of remaining hours we have left on an auth very easily.

Cons: The meta data does not always pull into a report.
