### "Nice Integration"

Pros

I like the integration of the HSA account information and having it next other benefit information and payroll.

Cons

It seems like I can't include the HSA account with my other accounts on sites like Mint. It also doesn't really seem like I have an "account" at a bank.

### "Great Interface for Employees to Access Benefit Information"

As an end user of BenefitSolver, I was happy with BenefitSolver. It was easy to use, easy on the eyes and I never had any issues. The switch to a new TPA has, in my opinion, made the employee experience a little less pleasant from a user interface perspective but I cannot speak to the value added from switching to a partner better adapted to our business for for reporting and integrations. In my experience, those often have a greater impact on employee experience than user interface.

Pros

We've recently made a switch from BenefitSolver to a new TPA but what I miss the most is the interface of the BenefitSolver platform when employees sign in to view their benefit details. It was very easy to view and understand the information being presented and to navigate the site. Our new platform is a little harder for employees, myself included, to locate all of the information they are looking for at a glance.

Cons

Personally, I was very happy with BenefitSolver but I understand we made the switch to improve integrations and reporting capabilities.

This is the least useful benefits software I've encountered. It should be something I only have to set up and deal with occasionally and with an actual person but it's problematic and requires constant attention and resolving their many issues takes literal days.

Pros

Benefitsolver doesn't do anything better than its competitors. I never had complaints around other benefits software because it worked as expected and let you talk to a person who understood what was going on.

Cons

Support is worthless with circular menus, inaccurate information, long wait times, and a terrible attitude. The accounts are all funneled through one card so it's unclear where funds are being pulled from. The notifications are opaque and a pain to get to on top of offering no information other than to reach out to them.

### "Easy enrollment! No extra steps !"

Pros

I like that it was a breeze to enroll on dental medical and vision all in one pace. Cost efficient. Easy to enroll a dependent. No 21 questions. Each plan was laid out and easy to sift through

Cons

After the update, I don't have many complaints. Except the life insurance was confusing. But again that could be my lack of knowledge on terms

Great overall.

Pros

I used Benefitsolver as a user, and I really like the ease of use and the straightforward approach to benefit enrollment, picking up choices, comparing plans and above all showing you at every single step of the way what your cost will be. Very good experience and definitely a nice way to enroll in benefits with your wokrplace.

Cons

It took me w hile to get a hold of a customer service rep the only time I needed this, but otherwise pretty smooth experience

### "Not user friendly and unreasonable denials"

Pros

My company switched about 2 years ago from a product that worked better and had better support.

Cons

Submitting reimbursement claims was a pain. Can't just take a picture with my iPhone of the receipt, so I scan and submit using a computer. Then the claim is denied as ineligible... When it's a receipt from the doctor's office! It was difficult to find what exactly was denied too. I had to go into "Activity" area of my account. The instructions from the notification email did nothing to help me find how to resolve the pending or ineligible claims. Seems like they are really trying to hold on to my money...

Software was good, customer service ruins it for you!

Pros

They are very rude and unprofessional. I spoke to a customer rep about an invoice and she was very rude! I would have put a zero for customer support.

Cons

I've had different companies and this is the worst! You call them up and it feels like they are bothered by your call and want to get you off the phone if they don't like what they hear. They are very unhelpful when you need help.

They took our money but did not send it to the insurance company, thereby causing us to not be able to fill a life-saving prescription for my husband. When we reached someone, they simply said we could pay out of pocket & get reimbursed.This company is a total scam.

Software is ok not as good as Towers or Empyrean

Cons

Currently i would not suggest to use BenefitsSolver as your TPA. They are still working and are behind in the Benefits Industry sector. Need some real upgrade to capture the needs of new clients.
