Pros

I love how easy it is to get started, setup an interview, and start interviewing people. I love how professional the interview looks (with custom branding, custom video, etc.), and how easy it is to review interviews. I have recommended others at our company and it's increasingly becoming an essential part in my hiring process. And the support team is superb. They respond instantly and solve whatever problem I may have!

Cons

It still has some rough edges, but the support team is very responsive. Candidates reported some issues, some of them had to take the interview through several days. Some candidates' videos get messed up, or we didn't receive them, we had to reach out to support to have these resolved. It's also annoying that upon canceling the premium subscription, you don't get reverted back to the free tier, but everything just kinda stops and you can't experiment with creating jobs.

Pros

I really like the user experience design of this platform. It's so easy to use and set up. The candidate experience is also very pleasant. I tested at least 20 other video interview platforms and this one is by far the best.

Cons

No cons really but for a small business that doesn't interview all the time, it is hard to justify a monthly subscription that we won't be using most of the time. I suggest Sass providers to always have an on-demand purchase option for small businesses.

Pros

Having a pre-recorded interview during the hiring process makes a world of difference for a company! This software is so easy to use, that it should be a no-brainer to add this as part of your process. I love the ability to watch a pre-recorded interview for a potential candidate which allows you to save time and energy by limiting the number of actual interviews the hiring team needs to be involved in.

Cons

No complaints, so thankfully I have nothing to note here.

myInterview enabled us to shortlist a great number of candidates in a smart way, streamlining our workflow, facilitating a holistic assessment of a candidate using a videoCV alongside a paper CV.

Pros

Excellent product, enabling us to shortlist candidates in a smart way. Easy to use, to create email templates, to add our own branding. I rate this product very highly.

Cons

I'd like to see and use the search option from the dashboard.

It's making the early stages of screening much easier by giving us a chance to get to know candidates better. They can complete the interviews at a time that's convenient to them, and our team can review them asynchronously. Getting the more "standard" questions answered in this way means we can have deeper conversations once we get to two-way interviews.

Pros

myInterview's very easy to use, it's priced competitively, and it integrates deeply with our ATS. The team is really great to work with too.

Cons

Previously I'd have said that more integrations would have been helpful, but they recently launched an integration with Zapier that's made a massive difference (for example, we can get Slack notifications for myInterview video responses now).

Pros

The software helped us to get to know the candidates well before our in person interview. Since they were able to record themselves ahead of time, we got more authentic interaction and less stressful. Easy for the candidate to interact. Real time saver at affordable price.

In the busy days, I spend a lot of time interviewing candidates in person/via video calls, and sometimes it can be really challenging to handle all day to day HR tasks and interviews - that's when this great tool plays it's role as my helping hand while I focus on other things at work. I'm able to review interviews at my convenience, any time. The candidates are also able to complete video interviews whenever they are ready for it, which can significantly reduce the amount of stress as they are able to prepare themselves for the interview. My experience is overall positive.

Pros

Easy to use, automatization of the notifications and reminders. It was a real time saver for me in busy periods of hiring!

Cons

So far, I didn't find much that I don't like about it. Maybe more questions available (not just 10) would be good thing to have for some roles, and I sometimes combine two questions to one as I need to ask all important things on that first interview for which I use MyInterview tool.

Reasons for choosing myInterview

I used MyInterview only.. I came across this tool last year, I gave it a try, and since then I wasn't looking for any alternative because so far it fulfill (almost) all thing I need from such tool.

Overall, implementing myInterview has meant that our recruitment strategy is standardised, debiased and competitive. While we are a student organisation, our human capital strategy is comparable to that of industry recruitment processes. We wanted to make it engaging and inclusive for our candidates and I believe we have done so. We will continue to use this service every year.

Pros

The setup is seamless. The UI/UX design is incredibly intuitive and requires little to no effort to understand. As a result, it is really easy to get team members to collaborate. The ability to customise and specialise the platform with our branding and our own videos is awesome. I've received really positive feedback from candidates about the professional and user-friendly experience of the platform. The team at myInterview also graciously reduced the monthly subscription fee to better support us as we are a small student-led non-profit university consultancy. Cannot recommend the software enough.

Cons

The only thing that I think is missing from the platform is the ability to automatically send candidates the video interview invitation after they complete an application form. We use Google forms at the moment and it would be awesome if candidates were sent the video interview after submitting the form. I find that I am spending a lot of time sending out invitations to candidates and automating this step could save us a lot of time.

Reasons for choosing myInterview

The customer service was superb and the competitor offerings did not offer non-profit organisations with discounts.

I am very impressed with the quality of product and service by My Interview. I have already recommended it to others.

Pros

When hiring from a shift working cohort the capacity for the interviewee to complete the interview in their own time has resulted in a far more efficient recruitment process. Using my interview limited the quantity of encounters required to progress the applicants to onboarding stage, but with the video introduction and questions capabilities the interview still had a personable feel about it.

Cons

We had some challenges integrating videos from different third party platforms and standardizing the audio quality between the videos. But the online support from my interview was very helpful in resolving this.

very good product. Very easy to use for candidates (doesn't force them to create an account) and for viewers. Great support team - very responsive and helpful.

Pros

works seamlessly. Creates links to all the videos. Great user experience for both candidates and evaluators. integrates to our database automatically. Great support from the team!

Cons

we would love to have the video speed not just in the app but also in share links. the integration link works great but the support team needs to create it especially for you. I would rather create it in the app interface.
