Hyrell helps the applicant eliminate themselves if they are not truly interested in the position and our company though a series of scored questions. When the applicant scores in the nineties we know we have someone worth interviewing!

Pros

Saves a great deal of time by eliminating people who are not qualified or willing to go the extra mile to do a good job. Helps get a preview of the applicants attitude.

Cons

Applicants that have cache and cookies on their computer may run into technical problems.

As a growing business, not only have we consistently used KeldairHR for hiring services, but internally we have been able to alter positions and roles within our company based on discussions and hiring strategies. At one point, we as a company thought we were looking for a certain position, but soon after altered the position once re-aligning the goals of the position. This was something not many recruiting systems would have pursued with us and made the value of the software and team that much more.

Pros

The practicality and ease of having a recruiter has saved me an infinite amount of time. The service is 100% reliable, user-friendly, and I truly appreciate the ability to give constructive feedback and feel catered to. I thoroughly enjoy having a system that's geared towards my personal and business preferences. Such great value in this product and service!

Cons

There were some features in the beginning that took some getting used to/ features that were more geared to the recruiter's needs than a customer, however, there have been so many revised items since my beginning of using the product and a bunch of that has been changed and altered for customer use.

Reason for choosing KeldairHR

The personal aspect of feeling that someone was standing by our company and desired goals was priceless to me. We stay in constant communication not only revising and monitoring positions, but expanding on the internal growth of a company. This is beyond value and has saved me so much time on so many outlets.

Pros

I like all the info I get. It saves me time in the interview process. I love getting an email every time I have a new applicant. The email feature is my favorite. I also like that people get feedback when I review it.

Cons

Too many steps. It needs to be simpler. I don't like the pre-made emails. I don't like that it saves the people's info once I reject. I usually always have an opening that I am hiring for.

Your product allowed me to take down all of the plastic mail buckets with paper requisition forms from our walls and use technology for our recruitment. I have also found that candidates respond much quicker to the on-line invitation requests than missed and return phone calls!

Pros

Customer service is a 10! The Virtual Interview Tool allows us to customize our questions by position and filter our candidate pool effectively We love he flexibility to have applicants upload work samples and provide links to project portfolios for our Professional positions and keep the application simple for entry-level positions!

Cons

The interview schedule allows for 1 Manager to receive the invitation to an on-site interview, so we have a work-around to schedule interview with the candidates thru Hyrell and use our google calendar for HR/Multiple manager invitations to the same interviews.

Hyrell has been one of the smartest and most useful decisions made by our HR department. We moved from a completely paper process to an all-online process overnight. The software is very good and the team behind the product makes this a 5 star application. Hyrell is the most responsive company I've had the pleasure to work with for any type of HR software. They have provided great solutions to our specific company needs I see upgrades and feature expansions roll out all the time based on user requests from myself and others. They delight in listening to their customer base and working to make their product better. Applicants report a much improved experience and appreciate the increased communication. We send out updates every two weeks or so for all current applicants. The software makes it easy to stay in touch.

We have had a significant increase in the number and quality of applicants for most of our openings. Our managers continue to praise the HR team for excellent interview selections. We love how we can customize each job posting, responses and other fields. Wish we had more time to utilize all the options available on Hyrell as it would make us even more efficient. Customer service is outstanding - quickly address any issues and keep you posted with the status of your concern. There are some areas in Hyrell that could be better but what they have far outweighs anything we have ever used previously. Highly recommend Hyrell!

The Hyrell system is very easy to learn and use. The company offers online training and webinars to help those who are new to it. The system also saves me so much time. I don't know what I did without it before. I love that they are constantly improving and adding new things to the system. They listen to what their customers want and implement it into their system. The system allows me to customize the application, standard messages, postings, etc to make my life easier. The customer service is great. I can't see myself or my organization using any other applicant / hiring system.

The cost doesn't even compare to other software that is comparable to Hyrell that I have seen. Emily Russen our account executive and Jessica Palmeri Hyrell' s community manager along with the implementation/training team exemplify the meaning of Fantastic Customer Service. They truly listen to what we the clients want and need to work quickly all while receiving efficiently and qualified candidates for our positions.

We started with Hyrell about a year ago and we feel like our ability to better understand our applicant process, combined with the genuine desire of the Hyrell team to reach out for ways to improve their value makes this system well worth the expenditure. In addition, Hyrell offers additional webinars and other training to add value to the process. Best bang for buck compared to other systems we reviewed.

Pros

The program allows posting jobs to multiple sites in one step and allows candidates to see full job descriptions and pre-interview questions, which discourages applications from truly unqualified candidates. We are able to collect sufficient information through the very customizable program to collect consistent information from all candidates, which helps us determine if a candidate who has completed the application process is someone we want to consider further. The vendor is very open to suggestion, prompt in responding to questions and resolving issues.

Cons

I generally am comfortable with most software applications. I find some of the functionality to be counterintuitive to my way of thinking.

Pros

The ability to have our applicants' hard and soft skill responses scored automatically is a big win for us. We use the hard skills questions for our "must have" questions. Then, we use the soft skill questions for our "nice to have" questions. The resulting score tells us quickly whether the applicant meets the minimum requirements for the job and, if he/she does, how many of the desired or preferred qualities does he/she have. Of course, we also enjoy having the ability to create robust job postings that include not only the requirements but also the benefits of each job. And we also appreciate having these jobs posted to top job boards like Indeed.com. The customer service is terrific also.

Cons

It would be beneficial to set default views within the Talent screen (i.e.-each time you open the screen, it is sorted and filtered in the way you chose).

The pro's are the ease of use, the wide exposure it gives our company, and the reasonable cost. I like the virtual interview piece and I love the community library feature. It makes it so quick and easy to develop a template for a job posting. The hard and soft skills piece is very helpful in qualifying candidates at a glance and the virtual interview is great for getting a quick look at the candidates. I like the ability to communicate with the hiring managers and candidates through the system. When I do need help, I like the on-line FAQ's and quicklinks. When I need more help, I know I will get a quick response from our rep, Emily. Even when I haven't asked for help, Emily is proactive in contacting me just to make sure everying is going well. I also like the periodic webinars that are offered. The only con I have experienced is that if I don't catch a typo or a needed change before I post a job, then I have to unpost it to make the correction or change.

Pros

This product combines a strong feature set with a great UI. Those of you familiar with bootstrap interfaces will be instantly familiar with the UI. In addition, the feature set is strong. It includes all of the basic functionality of an ATS, with some intriguing additions. In particular, our business adheres to DOT and FMCSA regulations, and Hyrell makes that easy by offering a DOT module that allows applicants to be asked all of the required questions. On the back end, this portal allows HR users to store documents and tests as required by the FMCSA.

Cons

Sometimes the UI flow patterns are a little different from the way that our users expect them to be, but nothing mission critical. Just something to get used to.

Pros

I like the contact and "face" of the various members of Hyrell. I feel like I have a background and relationship with the team, not just a tech support person somewhere in the world. In regards to bugs or issues, I appreciate the update emails I get letting me know things are being done to work on the problems. It makes you feel heard, and unlike a lot of companies, you don't feel like your concern gets sent into the world wide web never to be acknowledged again.

Cons

It has taken some time for the interview calendar bug to get fixed and the background check feature does not use sources we are legally allowed to use. Were still having to outsource our background checks.

With just a few clicks our prospective candidates can go to our website and see all the career opportunities . The jobs listed are easy to read and apply for. The custom pre-built templates are thorough with everything I need to recruit great candidate's. Hyrell has made tracking, onboarding and hiring qualified applicants easy in every aspect. We have really big goals to continue to grow and I see Hyrell being a part of that growth for many years. With growth like ours it is hard to find vendors that make things so easy and Emily and Hyrell did just that for our H/R department and Northwest Motorsport Inc.

Hyrell has been tremendously helpful in drawing in potential candidates. Our volume of interest rose well over 300%. Hyrell has definitely increased our visibility as a potential work place. Everything about the system is easy to navigate after some initial training and exploring the system. I feel at times the system is sluggish in loading information, but I am aware that they are working on that. Customer service has been above and beyond my expectations. Phone calls and emails are responded to in a timely manner. Additionally, they offer periodic discussions on topics relevant to hiring and best business practices. Hyrell has certainly made my job as a recruiter much, much easier.

Pros

Compared to other recruiting site, I feel like I receive a higher quality of applicants because of the screening tool I can set. As opposed to having a million applicants that do not meet employment criteria or only met the lowest level. I like that the functionality of the site moves through the hiring process with the reviewer for documentation purposes.

Cons

The system does not auto-reject based on screening tool scores. I wish that the site dealt with major vendors to generate a larger candidate pool.

We are a smaller non-profit, but based in fourteen different locations. Each location has a hiring manager and we needed a system that could help us easily communicate across the board. Hyrell did just that. Our account manager was A-mazing. Anytime we had an issue, she was available and helped us out. We did run into a few snags in the very beginning (some bugs, some issues just translating our processes into a new system) and she patiently got us through every one. We highly recommend Hyrell to anyone that's needing to simplify their hiring systems, especially any organization that has offices that communicate remotely.

We did an evaluation of Applicant Tracking Systems and Hyrell came out on top. They have all the major features you would want out of an ATS including integration with major job boards, tracking of applicant communications, and full tracking of applicants throughout their process. Their customer service is very personalized and we're able to get answers to questions almost immediately. They really helped us through implementation to ensure that we were providing applicants with the best experience to explore careers at our organization. Their pricing model allows for affordability for any size organization.

I like the hard/soft skills beacause at a glance I can eliminate applicants based on their score. The virtual interview in my favorite part. In this section I understand the applicant, I can judge their writting skilss (applicable per position) Kind of like getting to know the applicant. Sometimes the resumes that are uploaded are not in right format so I dont get to see everything. The breakdown of the employee history tabs clears everything up for me. The interview scheduling can be a little overwhelming. I dont utilize the Hire or Intiate offer tabs. The reject button is awsome and convenient.

We have been using this program now for quite some time and could not be any more pleased with it. It is user friendly and by far has been our number one tool when looking to hiring new staff members. Being able to communicate with the applicant through Hyrell allows us to find out what we need to know about the person before even bringing them in house for hiring purposes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone as it has been more than what we could have asked for. Thank you Hyrell.

Pros

I don't believe they have left a stone unturned. The entire hiring process has been though over completely. I love how I can do everything from receiving to schedule interviews and even hiring!

Cons

I have some concerns that we may be missing some applicants due to the length of the application process. I love all the information, but it may deter some.
