Admin Sports Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Give our money back! " August 9, 2026 1.0 Our biggest concern with Appy Pie is the handling of our refund request. We subscribed for a full year with the expectation that the automation would work as promised. Unfortunately, after months of troubleshooting, testing, meetings, and follow-ups, we were unable to get the solution consistently working for our business. We ultimately decided to stop using the service and cancel the subscription. We did not maximise or use the remaining months of the annual subscription, so we believe it is only fair and reasonable to receive a refund for the unused portion of the subscription, or at minimum a prorated refund. What has been particularly disappointing is that, despite the service no longer being used and our repeated requests, Appy Pie has refused to refund the unused period. I understand that Appy Pie believes the implementation was completed according to the agreed scope. However, from a customer's perspective, the outcome matters. We paid for a full year of service, were unable to achieve the expected result, and are no longer using the service. Why should a customer be required to pay for months of a service they are no longer using? I would strongly encourage Appy Pie to reconsider its approach to situations like this. A fair prorated refund for the unused months would have been a much more reasonable and customer-focused resolution. Promises are important, but execution, accountability, and fair treatment of customers are what ultimately matter. Pros Nothing, While the team was available to communicate with us, unfortunately, we did not experience any significant benefits from the service that would make us recommend it. Our main objective was never successfully achieved. Cons Worst Customer Service The biggest issue was the poor customer service and lack of follow-through. We spent months troubleshooting and following up, yet the automation never consistently worked as expected. We also found the refusal to provide a prorated refund for the unused months extremely disappointing and unfair. Review Source TS Theuns S. They continued billing after we have confirmed cancellation and received agreement from them that no further billing will occur. No communication since. I would never use this business again. Pros Their self-promotion is excellent. On 'paper' this service should assist in most of the common and even uncommon needs a business have when searching for an automation partner. Cons Inability to deliver on agreed to deliverables - it took more than 12 months, multiple meetings and continuously pointing out issues that remained unfixed or undelivered before we cancelled the additional year agreement. Even after cancellation and receiving confirmation that the cancellation was received in time and that no further billing would occur, they continued to take payment. Pros I like the concept of making a drag and drop app without using coding and the app process creating it was a little challenging but not too hard and I like the features that you were able to put into your app. Cons When it was finally time to get the app onto the app store it was a hassle because they test everything there and I had a app in the Google console for 22 days with no testing being done. A lot of the tutorials are dated and are not up to current versions especially when using the messaging part of it and having to use another source other than apple pie. Do not try to if you have an older phone! Pros Appy Pie gives users the opportunity to build a mobile app without deep coding experience, but that experience leaves a lot to be desired. It was a drag and drop builder pre-vibe coding, a relic now and it should have remained a fossile. Cons The menus are confusing and poorly executed, and many locked behind paywalls with better features. They talk about their free trial, but actual execution or publication almost isn't possible without becoming a paying customer. Even the paying customer apps, however, have a cookie cutter feeling to them - and that is not a pretty cookie. You've seen these apps before - and once you realize it, you won't unsee them. This helps me in many ways and sometimes enables me to close extra sales from the same client.For me, there is nothing more exciting and enthusiastic than being able to develop and design an app without having to write long lines of weird codes ( its soaks) and Appy Pie makes it 100% possible. Pros Appy Pie is my best no-code app design environment. It's simple and supports the drag & drop feature which is very responsive. Designing an app with Appy Pie is the same as creating a website, however, the difference is that with Appy Pie, there's almost no need for CSS or HTML codes. The UI is very responsive and frankly, this app is worth 10/10 Cons I enjoy the quality of templates Appy Pie offers but don't really appreciate the quality of stock images available.
