If you already have a website you can just opt for a scan and your app is ready in min. Pros the platform allows anyone to create a mobile app using drag n drop style. No coding experience needed. if you can operate a Facebook account then you can create a mobile app. on top of all creating is free pay only when you want to publish so it's a 10 from me. Cons with a lot of data, the app can be slow, or connecting to external DB might require more than just drag and drop. A large community of users exists so it's great not to be learning it alone! Cons It's still limited with some functionality. Even though you can read stuff and have faq's there is so much to absorb with your product you can forget small details Pros The features are awesome. The membership card and loyalty system alone is great but now to add it in Augmented Reality and your own store is awesome. Cons I like it all because of the customer support. I have a problem with the member card. I think if you give a user a download button for a member card it should. 1. be easy to find in the phone. 2. be a real member card not just a screen shot of the member page. I think just rearrange the existing info and display Member card image, Qrc code, member name, Member id, Member expiration date, maybe member Profile image if they uploaded it to the app. Also the alarm on my radio section is so not needed and I do not know how to take that feature off. Pros It was mostly easy to use as far as setting up and understanding, mostly inexpensive (for an app development), and they helped us with our problems and in the creation of our application in some places. Pros 1\. Easy to Use. Data can be extracted directly from the company website URL. So its fast to develop a mobile app. 2. Incase of trouble, support is offered in the form video tutorials, FAQs in their blog, Emails, Live Chat and Phone mediums. 3. App Preview is one of the best among their competitors. It automatically shows a list of app markets according to its function and allows us to customize the look on mobiles and tablets irrespective of Google or Ios Platforms. 4. Apps can be distributed in Social Media or Appy Pie's email marketing tool. They integrate the app with Google Analytics, so that we can evaluate the performance of the App and make necessary improvements. 5. Software offers advanced geo targeting tool which allows us to send push notifications for specific users in special areas and for specific periods of time. Cons I wish the social media side of the feature widgets were more enhanced to be more aligned with the look and feel of other social media platforms (user profile, likes, shares, etc.). it's not really intuitive and thats basically my whole app (building community). so it would be nice to see this more enhanced. May 10, 2021 3.0 I have ended up mostly just using the editor page since I can drop code directly in to the page. If I was using the pre-built pages, the tool would be a waste of my time. Also, paying $600 dollars extra a year to remove appy pie branding from the splash page is way too expensive. That should be like a $100 extra charge. Pros Ability to use code on the editor page and ease of updating icons and pages without redeploying app. Cons Features are weirdly missing. For example, some video types on the video page use the native player while other types launch the website (but only in the app). Videos don't go full screen, but only fill the app frame. You can use the website page to launch external links, but no other page is able to launch a link externally, which is a huge miss. Also, page anchors don't work correctly and, even though the editor page accepts javascript, not all javascript works. The code to jump to an anchor on page-load doesn't work consistently. It's a great idea, but the weird segregation across page features (like deep-linking to other pages only working on some page types) doesn't make sense. Reason for choosing Appy Pie I am looking to move to a new product next year if Appy Pie doesn't improve. Reduce the cost for removing co-branding, add the ability to launch any video url using the on-device player (setting the target at "system" does not work), and turn on cross-page linking for all page types, please.
