If you build reports or presentations in PowerPoint/Excel and want to streamline your workflow, this platform is absolutely worth it (even for someone that is not technical) Pros Deep integration with PowerPoint and Excel Extremely user friendly and easy to adopt Research data is not always easy for a tool to work with, but Torben and OfficeReports has done it seamlessly Huge time savings through automation Clean, professional output with minimal effort Dependability—everything just works and if there is ever a technical issue (which is usually on our side), they are extremely responsiveness Cons Honestly, very little. Any tool can always grow, but OfficeReports already delivers exactly what I need at a very high level. While there is some AI options embedded, I'll look forward to seeing how this capability grows. I prepared a 60 page Powerpoint that had to be updated and replicated 16 times based on specific criteria. In the past this would take me almost 3 weeks to manually update. With OfficeReports, the reports were generated in minutes. Pros It's simple to use since it is based on Powerpoint and Excel. The support offered by the company is unmatched by any other software providor. Cons I have nothing negative to say about OfficeReports. Support is always one click away and will help you at every step of the way. Pros What I liked the most about Office Reports: the functionalities that help tackle very specific needs in market research and survey results analysis work. Everything the team used to do in SPSS and other softwares to prepare survey data (netting, recoding, aggregating variables, changing values etc.), can now be done through Office Reports. The process of preparing the survey data to then analyzing it and creating Powerpoint reports with it has become way more efficient. We are also able to be more accurate because the whole data life cycle is centralized in OfficeReports and we don't have to use different softwares at each step of the process. But even more importantly, what stood out the most while using OR is the support. While getting used to this software, I found that there was a steep learning curve, and like with every software, there are hurdles, but at least with Office Reports, you know that if you click the help button and talk to the chat, you will not only be answered by an AI agent but also by a person, and rest assured that whatever hurdle you are facing will be solved. This level of customer support alone makes you feel like you can keep using it and getting better and better at it. Cons Maybe we could make it a bit easier to create summary tables with aggregate variables. It can handle any level of complexity we could want and we have surveys that run into the hundreds of variables. Pros OfficeReports is a fantastic product, unlike anything on the market, due to its ease of use and flexibility. Plus, Torben is a great trainer if you need advice on how to use particular product features. Cons There is nothing about OfficeReports to change, other than on the website it would be nice to see a more apparent area to log in and manage the account. That functionality may be there, but I didn't see it where I would have expected to find it. Able to get quick total counts. Customer service was great. Torben was very supportive and helpful, as I need help with tech things. WE had several emails and 2-3 Zoom meetings. Cons Had some problems setting program up and doing the file format correctly. Works better is import a SPSS or sav file, than an excel file. Pros It makes weighting so simple--just set the proportions. If you add cases, updating the weights and reports is a matter of a couple clicks. Cons The fact that it lives within MS Office is also a challenge in that it is susceptible to the bloat and quirks of the suite. The ease of integrating the data into PPT visualizations was great. Cons Weighting data was easier in SPSS. Not a big issue, but OR command prompt pops up whenever Excel or PPT is opened even when not using the tool. Cons Although other data formats do work, the primary data format is SPSS to obtain all the functionality. Would like to see this extended to other sourcess. Very useful: possibility to use/create customized templates/layouts. For multi-client or repetitive surveys, new participants/evaluations can be created easily and quickly based on previous analysis outputs - from our point of view this is one of the advantages of OfficeReports. Pros \- easy to use - easy linking of tables/data and reports - very fast creation and modification of tables - very good and easy transfer of data from Excel (SPSS) to PPTX graphs - making project management much more flexible, evaluations can be prepared more efficiently Cons Unfortunately, we spotted OfficeReports too late ;-) Reasons for choosing OfficeReports Since most of the evaluations and analyses were carried out with self-programmed and self-implemented analysis tools, but we wanted to develop further in this respect, OfficeReports, as a comprehensive and professional product, came closest to our requirements and working methods.
