It has everything needed to keep up with office and classroom information. The price is excellent, especially for small schools. Pros This product is very easy to learn and use. It keeps up with all the important information we need. Cons This product does not integrate with QuickBooks, which would be a tremendous help for us. Because of this we have to enter information from the EduConnect into QuickBooks. Pros This software allowed for easy compilation of many areas of our work into one place. We are able to use this product to cut time down for our office work. Cons This software has limited capabilities for integrating multiple data sets into one area have to switch back-and-forth between many dashboards. Pros The owner/programmer addresses the issue you encounter personally. If you have a need for your school, many times they will address the need. If you have a problem, quick response time and the problem is resolved. I have used the product for several years and have witnessed it growing and improving. For a non-public school, I believe it is the best program for your money. Cons School Administrator has a slight learning curve, but much easier than other student information systems on the market. We also like the lunch count feature and find it to be most compliant with the DESE lunch count needs. Cons I wish we could add more pictures to the cite as well as design the pages a bit more than allowed. I would like to also add some features to the teacher websites as well. From the web-based login portal to the abundant features and add-on packages, this software gives schools large and small everything that they need in one place. Cons Can be a bit tricky to master at first due to the amazing amount of options. Graphics/widgets/menu's on the website could be improved. Pros This product has great support. It is easy to learn how use it. It has a good variety of functions for a school. Our parents really like the "Parent's portal" part of the program and out teachers get a lot of use out of the gradebook and Lesson Planner. Cons It would be nice if it was a way to contact parents by text through the program. Parents can be contacted by email, but texts seem to be more effective for communicating to a large group.
