HR avatar is a hiring platform that helps employers choose the right candidate by using test designed for specific jobs.. These tests include problem solving, personality checks also...and My overall experience is great.. but this platform has its drawbacks also... it can be expensive for small businesses.. test are too long sometimes. but there are features of video interview also.

Pros

By using HR Avatar, i like most is there are test designed for every job openings. Its very great platform for companies to hire the candidates in very easy way by taking video interviews via this platform only. It is very easy to use for beginner or for both employers and candidates.

Cons

No not as of now.. can be bit costly for small businesses. and candidates get fed up with long assessments.

### "HR Avatar - A Great Recruiting Resource!"

Since we became a customer of HR Avatar 4 years ago, they have been a great recruiting resource! Overall, the tests we use provide us with valuable insight and the ability to make informed candidate decisions. The test results have proven to be accurate when the selected candidate begins working.

Pros

The value for the money! I love that we can issue test batteries! They have been a great tool for our recruiting needs. In addition, the Customer Support has always been above and beyond, especially when I needed to create a custom test. The service team is quick to respond and thorough in ensuring my needs are met.

Cons

Some of the tests do not fit our work environment. This is not to say that the tests are not valuable, but our work environment is not your typical office setting. I would like to see some levels of complexity for the proofreading tests. We are in a legal environment where punctuation and grammar are really important.

Reason for choosing HR Avatar

The value for the money was important because we are a government agency. We also appreciated the ability to create test batteries and combine reference checks into the process. The presentation of the results was also important to us and HR Avatar checked all the boxes.

t’s a thoughtful and effective tool for deeper candidate evaluation, but it requires more time, effort, and sometimes budget to get the most out of it.

Pros

Instead of just multiple-choice personality or aptitude tests, it uses realistic job scenarios that mirror what candidates would actually face on the job. That makes the results feel more meaningful and job-relevant.

Cons

The HR Avatar assessment platform offers a lot of customization, but that can make setup and interpretation of results a bit complex if you’re new to it.

I have had minimal experience with HR Avatar. It could be perfectly fine and helpful, but I cringe when I see spam emails filling my inbox.

Pros

I have not really explored it much since the initial introduction. I wasn't engaged enough to be hooked.

Cons

The email ads are incessant and don't offer any useful insight. I haven't felt the need to click through to the site to explore HR Avatar more.

Overall, I have had a great experience. Their team is knowledgeable about the products and always have time to review questions you may have.

Pros

Very affordable and they have a great selection of skill assessments for administrative jobs, which is what we mostly hire for. Our representative of HR avatar and their customer service department have always been responsive and helpful.

Cons

For newer IT positions, there aren't as many options for assessments, however you can create your own assessments if you would like. If I had to change one thing, if would have to be the length of a lot of the assessments. They are a bit much when it comes to time.

I have been thoroughly impressed with HR Avatar and the incredible value it brings to the hiring process. This well-rounded approach makes it so much easier to identify applicants who are the best fit both for the role and the company culture.

Pros

We are a high-volume recruiting department, the cost we pay for as many people as we assess, can't be beat. The Team at HR Avatar is amazing to work with, they are responsive, easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend them.

Cons

No issues with HR Avatar at this time — smooth, reliable, and easy to use.

### "HR Avatar allowed us to save money on employee references"

We moved from a more subscription based service who had increased our prices to get better control of our spending. This has been a good solution for us.

Pros

Cost control and value for money. We previously had a subscription service who was purchased by a larger company and increased our rates. HR Avatar has allowed us to maintain having an online electronic mechanism for employee references and to control our costs.

Cons

Not super intuitive to use. The system by which you build the reference questions and assign the reference check to someone is not super intuitive.

It is very nice. I want to commend the team for creating such a nice space for us to lessen the hassle of taking too much time in the recruitment process particularly the assessment.

Pros

I like most about HR Avatar is being user-friendly. I can navigate it very well with instructions on the side.

Cons

Actually, I want to explore more about its algorithm but I like it all. Sometimes, there is system malfunction in terms of test result, but the team responded very fast.

Excellent, professional, I would use again. I feel it was a great way to get information and skills that align with the needs of the company.

Pros

Fantastic models, love the new realist look. I feel it really sought after matching up skills and information to make a good job fit. Easy to use, and very informative. Great customer service. Easy interface. I feel it offered different questions in different ways. It also was very thoughtful about any accommodations or help needed to navigate the program.

Cons

There was nothing I didn't like about the program. I needed time to understand the platform and how to use it, that was about all.

Pros

It provided a great assessment of skills that made it easy to compare candidates for the same position.

Cons

It can be a little tricky to find appropriate assessments. Creating multi-tests suites was hard to figure out.

### "Quality Platform"

The customer & IT support was excellent, and I found the overall platform easy to use in shepherding candidates through the interview & onboarding process.

Pros

The one-stop-shop nature of the program was very attractive from an admin perspective. Being able to assess, interview & reference check prospective candidates for our positions was very convenient.

Cons

The cost for candidates on a credit based platform was significant, as candidates who might dead-end or drop out costed the same as a successful hire. As well, the IT issues we hit against, while likely unique, still made for a difficult candidate and user experience at times.

Pros

The customizable battery of tests is useful for our recruitment needs since each position and job levels vary from another. Another convenient feature is the reference check, which is also customizable, because it allows us recruiters to focus on other screening process, but still able to cover the critical information we need from the candidates. Another significant feature that is hugely useful is the live proctoring during assessments since it also includes a brief analysis of potential risks for cheating.

Cons

Most of the candidates experience system malfunctioning. However, HR Avatar staff are usually responsive and accommodating for such concerns.

### "Great assessment tool for most jobs"

Overall it has helped us select people who will perform well for the company.

Pros

It is easy to send to applicants, has fairly straight-forward instructions & the results are broken down into various factors that make it easy to evaluate whether or not someone is a good fit for a particular position in a particular company.

Cons

While I feel the assessments accurately predict who will perform well, I have seen some cases where the individual did not score well on the Avatar but ended up being one of our stars. I think this is due to the fact that there are not exact matches to some of our job titles, so the duties of any specific assessment are not perfectly aligned with some of our roles. I am afraid we may have ruled some people out who may have done just fine if we had hired them.

Pros

Verry easy to use and assisted with the selection process when recruiting. I love that I am able to schedule these test and set an expiration time as well.

Cons

Some of the test are a bit too long, there is ko section to enter couple email addresses at once, I believe this has to be selected one at a time.

An easy-to-use and shrewd tool for accepting employment applications is HR Avatar. It can speed up the hiring process without compromising the quality of the professional you require.

Pros

The candidate's abilities, experience, expertise, character, and behavior are taken into account as part of HR Avatar's applicant screening process. Because it can provide you the highlights of their test result with an explanation, it is user-friendly and speeds up the hiring selection process.

Cons

The only area I can think of for improvement is how long it takes to complete. Perhaps you can condense it while maintaining the same level of quality.

Overall, it's a really helpful tool for determining which candidates are serious and qualified.

Pros

I've only been using this software for one month, however I like the fact that it's user friendly. It's fairly easy to navigate through the various functions and options.

Cons

The HR Avatar system randomly doesn't work sometimes. We had a few issues with candidate results not showing, their names disappearing, or their test progress disappearing. Also, some test results are randomly not showing what percentile they fall under.

Reason for choosing HR Avatar

We use both, because HR Avatar doesn't offer all of the products we need in our industry.
