Steep learning curve for us but worth the time investment. Pretty sure we've saved ourselves money from this tool, thanks to the time saving element and the data matching capability. Pros Saves time integrating data into systems. Fairly easy to use and is capable of exporting, importing, cleaning, etc from common systems. We use the upsert feature quite heavily in our use setup and it works well. The scheduler is really nice to schedule jobs to run when needed or when someone is out of the office for a time. Cons Antiquated looking system that took some time to get used to. Initial set up was complicated and frustrating but we also didn't have a ton of expertise on staff at the time. Also it tends to output fair bit of warning message in the log file which may scare you at first. Pros ID matching insert and update and the choice of update and upsert are very useful. Allowing to save loading template also speed up repetitive loading. Cons When exporting table in to csv format sometime field value may mix together. Re-importing the table require to rename the csv file, i think that may be a mechanism to avoid overwritten the original file? Once the users familiarized with this software, they cannot imagine a day without this. Honestly, this helps often for Accounts and Finance teams to upload their number of transaction lines to their required platform. The subsequent benefit of using this software is, you can save an additional salary on data entry or admin assistant. Therefore, this is a cost-effective tool for your organization. Pros 1\. Saving Humongous time for Accounts and Financial Teams to upload their Mass data into the system by using few clicks 2. It can integrate with topnotch business suites. Ex (Oracle) 3. Works quite handy with Excel since the setup distinctly works with Microsoft Excel 4. Finance Team often use this tool to upload Bank statements to the system and other bank-related related information Cons 1\. Quite old fashioned due to lack of gleaming features. 2. Need Expertise knowledge to set up the initial system and link the integrated software, hence initial setup is not that easy. 3. I have to use SQL daily but don't have a ton of time to really learn how to write it. This is where data loader comes in! I can connect it to the source I need to pull from and easily select the information I need from the menu and it will either export the report you need or give you the SQL statement you can copy and paste. This has been such a great tool, especially for a beginner. Cons There is a slight learning curve on how to use it and make sure you're getting the information that you need, but it's much easier than mastering SQL on your own!
