Pros Ease with which one can use it and allow to fill memo with each time Cons Sometimes it takes time to load certain features. Definitely like billing and time tracking Pros Core has allowed us to keep all eggs in the same basket. Billing team using the same program as timesheets has saved hours. Setup of Core was easy. Training has been very supportive and useful. Support has been very helpful and quick to respond and follow-up. BQE Core has allowed us more time to focus on the completion of a project rather than collecting information and scheduling from different sources Cons Providing more details in help within the program, a pop up link to a detailed explanation of what the field is will be helpful. Principal Architect Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Did not meet my expectations" February 18, 2019 1.0 Pros The program has a great way of showing what's been invoiced and the remaining budget if you get things set up correctly, but getting there is the problem. Cons Our office found this program to be extremely glitchy. Time entries would move around on us, memos wouldn't save correctly and time would get lost. This made it really difficult to bill effectively. Also, information was buried in deeper menus and was not readily visual. It was extremely difficult to set up even with their additional training module and nothing was custom unless you wanted to pay additional customization fees. The program did not integrate very well into QBO and anytime I called help, I was told QBO was the problem. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating program which cost my office a lot of time and money (non-refundable btw!). Review Source TD TAMMY D. I was extremely frustrated as we weren't finding a solution to my syncing my invoices to QuickBooks. After much frustration, we let QuickBooks hang up from the GoTo Meeting as well as the conference call with BQE and myself. The representative assured me he would help me and he did. While I had to put him on hold for a moment, he was able to find the problem and resolve it! I am so happy and now I don't have to go the weekend worrying about how my invoices next week are going to sync. Thank you so much for hanging in and helping resolve the problem! March 18, 2019 5.0 Pros The software handles billing and time expense with great ease! There are 100s of invoice templates to choose from, as well as a report for any situation. I especially liked liked the Link to QuickBooks. Very useful. I've never had any kind of technical/ software support that was available immediately with No Wait!!! Pleasant and always Professional. Cons The availability of 100s of reports, invoices, and other options does make the software a bit complicated for the new user. Thank goodness you can call for help! It's a very useful tool for a consulting firm like us. Customer service is great, and I like their online support system - you can get help without even calling them; just hit the button and use your mic. Dashboard is also very useful, but I wish some of the parameters can be customized. Overall, very satisfied. Pros CORE is easy to learn and use. It is a great aid in data analysis and provides a live look into the status of projects. Cons The application has some bugs which need to be worked out.
