Pros

BillQuick is very scalable. Our consultants are all over the country, we love Web Suite because it allows our employees work from their satellite offices. Imagine without BillQuick 120 plus consultants sending you paper time and expense sheets!! We are in the technology industry and we deal with different customer service from different vendors and I can say this with confidence BQE Customer service is awesome.

Cons

Cannot think of anything. It is working great for us.

Pros

Overall we are happy with BQE solution that we have been using for almost a year now. Their technical support is good.

Cons

Although BQE offers report customization service, you need a Crystal report designer if you want to do it on your own.

Pros

The setup is going very well. The BQE tech support team is awesome they have helped me out tremendously with questions and I would highly recommend the software. It has a lot of great features and we are enjoying the robust reporting function. It helps keep us track of project budgets which we were not able to achieve in QuickBooks. At some point, we are planning to switch the entire accounting to Core.

Cons

We could have done better in the training. It should have been tailored to our specific business needs.

Pros

We are less than 1 year in Core and so far we are enjoying working in it. Particularly, our staff is finding the ease of entering time, expense reporting and billing. Accounting team has all the data available in one place to look at the financial and project key performance indicators in one place. Looks beautiful and it has been a wonderful first few months in Core.

Cons

With proper help we were able we were able to avoid a learning curve. Will be able to comment this section as we start exploring more sophisticated features of Core

It has been good so far!

Pros

BillQuick is a great system to keep your data organized. It has helped us immensely to track data, gather reports and manage them well.

Cons

I have been using it only for a limited time, however some of the things that I dislike are its limitations. It's lack of flexibility could cause some minor hiccups in the process. Also, it doesn't have the auto save option for many items and because of this unless you hit the save button. Even though, it is a minor thing, it could be of great help to have the auto save option

The product, when used efficiently by all staff is very useful for tracking projects, future work, time and keeping contacts and those involved in projects clear cut. - If staff is not using the software as trained it can be a bit of a hassle.

Cons

Future projections are difficult. Being able to share budget v actual additional services is a bit complicated. I wish we could track benefit time separately from typical work hours so properly calculate efficiency.

Pros

The product is excellent and easy to understand. The support is truly the best I have ever encountered for a software vendor. The support staff has extended hours by phone, and frequently participates in the user's forum so you may have a question answered in the very late or wee hours of the morning. They are responsive and supportive in our efforts to make this program work for our company. We use Quickbooks accounting and Intuit payroll. The integration between Quickbooks and BillQuick has worked well thanks to the excellent help we received in the program setup from our assigned trainer.

Cons

Would very much like to have more sorting capabilities in filtered reports. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this vendor.

Streamline time and expense tracking and transparency into our overall project progress is the best we like in BillQuick. Their customer service is great and very pleasing to work with. We are still on the older version of BillQuick which is working great for us and we are planning to upgrade our software in a few weeks to take advantage of new features

We had some learning curve but with proper training we were able to come over that hurdle

Fine product, good Company to work with !!!!!!!

Pros

As CPAs and consultants, efficiency and accuracy are imperative since we bill for our services based on time spent working for clients. And as with any business, we want to turn time into money, effectively and efficiently. BillQuick is our ideal solution to handle our day-to-day time tracking, project management and billing and collection tasks. BillQuick is designed to simplify even the most complex billing cycle, and it includes all the features wanted to record time and expenses and invoice our clients. The company offers ongoing service and support at an extremely high level and in addition have industry experts in their product development team. BQE Software also continuously strives to improve its products and include features that further enhance the product.

Cons

Request that there be a reconciliation to general ledger accounts of total "wip"

Very good, very satisified with 2008, we need some of the enhancements available in 2009, will look at upgrading this year.

Pros

very powerful package for the purchase price. Most modifications on wish list have been met, some have been addressed in the 2009 version. Very user friendly, good security features. Mike Daniels is one of the best support people, Erfan is also very, very good.

Cons

The defaults on some of your screens could be better, will submit another list to support, some default tab stops, like in CR are not correct, project list still won't open with the default sort order being "alfa" is resets every time to numeric. Expense screen will not hold the project name field as one of the defaults, it drops it each time the screen is closed. Project managers name should be viewable from the invoice review screen (for collection purposes) what it displays is the person who is currently logged in, not useful.

Pros

The people at BillQuick always respond promptly to any questions or problems we have with just the right solution for the particular issue. I have used the product since 1999 - BillQuick presents a new version each year from input BillQuick users submit during the year - then during the year they continually update the program as needed.

Cons

BillQuick has not partnered with any of the payroll companies as yet - that would have been helpful.

I like the ease of use, i am an architect, not a financial type, i understand this product and am able to use it effectively. It has helped us control our billings and receiveables. I also really like the customer support, Alan Schlieper, is very good at working with me in any issues that come up. I tried to mark a 10 in the ratings below, but the survey would not allow. He is that good!

Cons

I wish i could better utilize all of the services the product offers, but we are a bit entrenched in our own processes.

Ease of use is what I can think of right away when it comes BillQuick. We have been using BillQuick for 19 years now and it is doing what we have been looking for in terms of Time, Expense Tracking, Batch Billing and robust reporting. Their technical support is best out there and the fact they listen to the customer needs is always a plus.

Cons

Nothing I can think of. Everything is working fine and we are a very happy customer of BQE

### "Removal of Core Features / Functionality"

We have not long implemented BQE Core for time recording and billing in an establish service business. The implementation process has been quite bumpy and their responsiveness has been patchy. Worst of all as above they have removed the functionality to record time offline on the mobile app as they have introduced a bug into the live environment. This functionality is one of our primary requirements as our workforce is mobile. Their handling of this issue has been genuinely appalling and has exposed how poor their governance structures are. They are far more focused on adding new functionality rather than offering a stable functional platform.

Pros

Good sales pitch. We were given a number of demos for different audiences and trial licenses.

Cons

They have removed crucial functionality without warning and cannot provide a timeline for resolution.

My company has been using BillQuick Pro since 2008. It is an amazing product. What is extraordinary is the service from the customer & tech support teams who have helped us throughout the years to adapt and customize the product to our particular needs.

Pros

Most important to us is the ease and functionality of the product. This product is uncomplicated for our staff to use for time entry, yet it is full of all the processes and reports needed to evaluate the many aspects of our business. We appreciate the Custom Reports Department very much - we have been able to modify billing reports, invoice templates, and reports templates that allow us to get information quickly. A major Pro is the integration with QuickBooks - a major feature of BillQuick.

I have been using BillQuick for over 10 years. I find their support to be very exceptional and there is no question they cannot answer. I love the fact employees can enter their time and expenses in their mobile app and attach expense receipts and this streamlines my billing and its very easy to use and crate batch invoices.

Cons

There is nothing I don't dislike about the software I like they extended their support hours.

In the past we used an older version of a software product that did not give us all the reporting we needed. If we are in need of a special report we can call BillQuick and they can assist us in finding the correct version of a report that helps us identify the information we are looking for. We have yet had to order special report made for us. So far, BillQuick has all the special reports we need.

Pros

Ease of use with 30 people out in the field and able to use the version on their tablets, phones and laptops without having to be in the office to enter their time and expenses

Cons

The only problem we ever had was due to our problem - not BillQuick. Our IT lags behind sometimes in making sure everybody has updated to the newest version of BillQuick and Web Suite when it comes out.

We have been BillQuick users since 2008 after Deltek Advantage priced small businesses out of the market. BillQuick interfaces nicely with Quickbooks and the user interface is easy to use, once you figure out some of the quirks. Although it offers a lot of reports, I don't seem to find the ones I want the most. I also don't necessarily trust the numbers I see in different reports if a job has gone overbudget. The Project Managers have never taken the time to use the software aside from time entry and the Project Center.

Pros

Easy time/expense entry. Easy to sort projects by name, client, jobnumber. Good interface with Quickbooks. Easy to create invoices, email from program, and pdf. Project Managers rely on Project Center information for accurate information.

Cons

Lots of reports, but many are useless.

For a small firm of 15 employees, ArchiOffice has proven to be an effective software program to run invoices and a variety of reports covering employee time allocations and project budgets.

Pros

One of the best features about ArchiOffice is quick to produce project invoice documents. Another is their customer support. Have a question about how to run specific reports? email a specialist and they will be quick to respond with helpful answers and solutions. Another plus is the IT department's knowledgeable support engineers to help and guide software updates and installations.

Cons

I have not explored nor been schooled in all the functions and reports that ArchiOffice can produce so I can not elaborate on the "Cons" at this time.

I have been using this product since 2006 and have been pleased with the changes that have been implemented over the years. There are some issues that still require some tweaking.

Pros

I like that the product is easy to use and is relatively seamless.

Cons

I would like to be able to update slips in draft mode other than just splitting them between charge and no charge. I would love the ability to change all of the time on a slip in draft mode to no charge, at the moment, I am unable to do so. Additionally, I would love it if we could get rid of the pop up message "are you sure you want to leave the page," why can't I simply update the information without having to take this additional step, it makes things so tedious.

TRC Engineering and BillQuick relationship goes a long way. We started using BillQuick in 1998 and have been happy with the product and their support is great. I actually attended their user conference in Vegas and it was great to see a enthusiastic team behind this powerful software

We have used BillQuick for several years and are very pleased with the software.

Pros

BillQuick syncs easily with QuickBooks Technical support is always very helpful and customer service is top notch. Webinars are very helpful for learning about product features and new functions when the software is updated yearly

Cons

There are minor issues that come up periodically, quirky things that are hard to figure out why they are happening. For example, a process will work one day and the next day it will not, and no apparent change has been made. These are usually cleared up by calling tech support. WebSuite (an add-on to BQ for remote users), is less user friendly than the desktop version
