Pros

The ability to accurately track time and expenses by job/phase, and run the appropriate reports, etc. to evaluate job profitability. Their is a large variety of invoicing template and report template options to choose from.

Cons

Although it has an accounting module, it doesn't do everything that we currently do in QuickBooks so we have been unable to have a fully integrated product at this time.

I use this product on a daily basis for 2 companies. The project set up is easy to complete and flows nicely with the next step in the billing process. The invoicing process is clear and easy to complete. Many of the screens have columns that the user can hide or show according to your preference. They can be rearranged as well.

Pros

There are many report options to choose from. If you need additional fields or a customized report, BillQuick is able to accommodate your needs. Their customer service is knowledgeable and is able to assist you with technical support. The collection center is a valuable tool as it allows you to make comments after following up with clients. These notes are able to be printed on an aging report.

I have been using Billquick for a few years and it has proven to be a very robust and powerful software. Customer support will rise to the challenge when questions can't be answered in-house and their training and customization services are very helpful. I would recommend Billquick to anyone within the A&E industry in need of timekeeping, billing and accounting software.

Pros

I appreciate the flexibility and intuitive programming as well as the timely response to all technical support and customer support questions.

Cons

When running a business, it is hard not to be critical of annual maintenance costs and individual seat costs. However, the annual maintenance costs are perhaps offset by a very efficient technical and customer support staff.

We have been using BillQuick for about 5 years and just started using the accounting package in January of this year. Our bookkeeper previously used QuickBooks. BillQuick is a very robust project management system and is very effective from time sheet entry, billing review, invoicing and producing reports. We anticipate rolling out BillQuick Web Suite to our staff over the next few months. We have recently cross trained another staff member in BillQuick. She had not worked in BillQuick before. She is very pleased with BillQuick and how user friendly it is compared to what she previously used (Deltek).

Pros

Ease of use and reliable. Every time we have called customer support they have been very helpful and have resolved all questions or issues we may be having.

Cons

I do not have any cons!

Our company of 8 people began using BillQuick in 2008 as a solution for tracking and managing our projects-centered engineering business. We find the program to be affordable and extremely versatile. If one of the hundreds of reports doesn't fit a need, they can be customized even further to present data in any format. Now that our company has grown to 20+ employees, we still find BillQuick to be the best option for our money. Their customer service team is responsive if we need anything, and they are always improving upon the product.

Pros

Affordable Wide variety of reports Simple user interface Good customer relations

Cons

Projects cannot be broken down past Services and Expenses on main screens/reports without customization (e.g. Services, Materials, Expenses).

With their budget and expense tracking it is easier to see where we are currently sitting, where we can cut cost, and have been able to stick closer to our budgets.

Pros

Having all account info, invoices, budgets, access to banks, profitability and performance reports available at all times in one place and on my phone is amazing. I am never unprepared no matter where I am.

Cons

I've noticed that their is a bit of lag when opening some reports or invoices but they may also be sue to my system.

Pros

Billquick is a reasonably user-friendly solution to time clocking on big projects. The software enabled us to be able to accurately bill for all of our hours worked with printable reports to support the data.

Cons

Customer service leave a lot to be desired. We weren't able to get anyone on the phone that could help us for over an hour and eventually solved the problem ourselves by rebooting the interface. The mobile app is not even worth downloading.

Pros

GUI looks good until you start using it. Management is inspired by BQ reporting features, but end-users suffer a lot if they use Web Suite.

Cons

All regarding the Simple Time Entry: 1. Filter - why I must to use Refresh after selecting the Filter? 2. Why the Entries are not color-coded or marked by the status? Saved/Submitted/Approved/etc? 3. Why the Projects and Activity are not Hierarchical? 4. When switсh to a new week, cursor falls in 1st cell. and if I switch windows - the Project selection list is stuck on GUI. 5. Rudimentary GUI elements are confusing: Menus which are not actually accessible, Inactive View-by filter drop-box, huge emty space below the table...

I would highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing BillQuick to do so!

Pros

I've now used BillQuick at two different companies for the past ten years. I have been extremely satisfied with the ease of use. The customer service support is great when there are any problems, which is not very often. I recently had a problem with the database - Scott in the Customer Service department was so helpful and helped fix the problem right away. Several years ago we began using BillQuick to manage our invoicing, instead of only for time-tracking purposes. The company was extremely helpful throughout this transition process. Moving our invoicing efforts to BillQuick was a great decision, as it automated billing and made everything so much easier and more accurate. The solution saved me approximately five days each month.

Cons

I can't think of any.

We have been using Billquick since 2008 and have 25 employees entering time and expenses on a daily basis. We also use the accounting package and BillQuick Agent. We did not have a prior accounting software so did not have to go through a conversion process. We have been able to set everything up ourselves with no formal training from Billquick as the software is very easy to use.

Pros

The software is extremely easy to use and it accomplishes everything that we need at an extremely affordable price. Customer support is very good with little to no wait times and usually with a very quick resolution to any problems.

Cons

There is very little to dislike about this product. Once set up and running we have had no real issues.

I've worked with BillQuick for the past 6 years. Overall it is a pretty easy system to use, it also interacts with Quickbooks nicely.

Cons

There are a few glitches, such as adding unnecessary multipliers to reports that make them incorrect, and we have to go back and fix all of these. Something our previous product from the 90's, did much better at. There is a lot of manual corrections

Archi Office saved my sanity. When I began working at this company, invoicing and timesheets were entered into Excel worksheets. Then the accumulated data was entered into Quick Books. This created a large margin for errors. With our employees entering their time into a record keeping system, it is much easier to see who is spending time on each project. Everything I need for invoicing clients is tied together in Archi Office. Then I sync it with Quick Books.

Pros

I like that this system is engineered for architectural record keeping and that it syncs with Quick Books. The 'old' way we did billing and timekeeping left too much room for errors to be made. This system has reports for tracking projects which is very helpful.

Diego was very professional and friendly to work with. He took care of our needs in a timely manner.

Cons

Not being able to open invoices using the history tab from the engagement/project screen. Most of BQE's tech support are ok to work with; could be friendlier with clients at times. Not being able to change color of our company name without incurring a fee.

Cons

Complex invoicing is sometimes hard to do (e.g. combining multiple tasks or combinations of time and expense and lump sum tasks).

This product allows out small engineering business to have the employee maintain their time sheets and take notes on the work performed as need for detailed billing of invoices. BillQuick handles all billing, AR, AP, and work in progress needs. The program almost seamlessly transfers the data to Quickbooks for final accounting needs.

Pros

Full on command of integration to Quickbooks so that errors can be caught before transfer. Extremely easy to use time sheets that anyone can use. Customer service is the best I have ever seen. Can do remote access session and show you exactly where and how to find/fix the items you are calling about.

Cons

Seems like they upgrade EVERY year and I can see the reason

BillQuick is simple to use for the majority of our employees who do basic time and expense entry. It has user friendly functionality and their online tutorials and webinars help our company maximize the software's capabilities. If I ever have a question or concern their customer service is the best I have experienced.

Cons

Overtime hours are not always flagged correctly. This is not an issue for our company.

This is a good product to manage time and expense slips, as well as to create invoices. However, it is not terribly user-friendly. It would be helpful if there was a catalog or library of tutorials to get a full range of services that can be done with this program. However, their support staff is truly helpful - professional, efficient and approachable.

I've been using ArchiOffice for so many years now, I can't remember when I started! Each year it keeps getting better and easier to use. But the best part is the support! Whenever I have an issue, whether it be large or small, the support staff is ready, willing and able to help quickly, efficiently and professionally. I LOVE working with them (especially Denise!).

Pros

I primarily use A/O to track time on projects both for billing and to help me in establishing fees for future projects. Having all of this info at my fingertips is fantastic.

Cons

It doesn't always work as seamlessly as touted in terms of storing documents - it is easier for me to keep them in project files on my computer. Not a big deal.

ArchiOffice is the first software we have implemented structured specifically for Architects. Having everything (accounting, RFI's, ASI's, Submittals, etc) in one place is wonderful. I have worked with ArchiOffice's Trainer Pam extensively. She is incredibly knowledgeable, but it is her patience that amazes me!

Cons

The initial setup to interface with Quickbooks can be a little daunting, but a necessary evil.

I like the weekly summary of hours and how it gives you a breakdown of where all your hours are going. That helps to see progress and where you need improvement.

Cons

I don’t like the ease of use with the software. It’s very difficult to edit entries or delete entries once they’ve been submitted.

Versatility of the product, ease of use, seamless integration with Quickbooks, superior low-cost support and most importantly, the increase in revenues because time capture works so well. I have used BillQuick since 2008 and it just keeps getting better.

Cons

I cannot think of anything I don't like. As Steve Jobs used to say about Apple products - "it just works"!

The product is simple to use and easy to integrate with other accounting software. Vendor support is effective and efficient.

Cons

Not all features are included with the product . They have to be bought at an additional fee. I am sure they are fantastic features but the cost does not justify the need to pay additional fees to use the features.
