Cons

The selection of templates is overkill. This area need to be reviewed and compressed into smaller categories.

I highly recommend. I thought a product with all the features Billquick comes with would cost a Lot more, so I'm very pleased. It paid for itself in time saved in a couple months. Will buy the 2013 version when it comes out.

Pros

Billquick lets me program the things I do the most (send bills, receipts, run reports). It's nice to know they're always done right and on time. Also, I put the reports I look at most often on a dashboard, and now I just glance at them whenever and I feel like I have a good idea of how our company is doing in just a minute or two, without having to generate the reports fresh each time.

Cons

I'm not crazy about the appearance of some screens, but the ones I use most often are pretty simple.

Cons

Billing is somewhat cumbersome for accounting practices with clients that are both fixed fee and hourly; workflows were not designed with accountants in mind

We have been using ArchiOffice for about a decade. The software is quite robust and has a lot of features. We use it primarily to track our time, project profitability, do billing. Technical Service is excellent at ArchiOffice. Denise Karp (with whom I have worked many, many years) and Alan Schlieper are readily available, thorough and patient with our needs. They take the time to show us how to better get the information we want out of the program and trouble shoot things when they go awry. This is essential, because while ArchiOffice is robust, it is also complicated.

Our firm started using BillQuick for our client billing in 2008. It has been a very user friendly program with very little maintenance. Being able to edit fields in the billing review has been invaluable to me due to a varying sales tax in our city limits. The gold care support is tremendous. Technical support staff is always very helpful and efficient. The report customization proved to be a very positive experience too.

User friendliness, flexibility in getting invoices and reports customized and excellent technical support.

### "Worst Experience Ever! - Save your money"

In general, I invested a lot into this program, training, and Administration (not including my own time). I got to a point where we wiped the slate clean so we could start over as we were told many of our issues were operator error. I got on the phone with support and informed them of a single contract/project I wanted to enter. After I explained the contract I was again told the program cannot do that. There is a "work around" or it can be sent to the Tech Dept for an additional fee. SAVE YOURSELF THE WASTED MONEY AND TIME!!!! Go with Praesto AE instead.

Cons

The Program is clunky and counter-intuitive for me. I could not get it to function as I needed it to. This program may work for a firm that only has a single phase of a project, but, dealing in multiple phases seemed beyond the program. That is unless you wanted to use a "work around" or pay additional fee. Bank Transactions cannot be downloaded, so they must be manually entered. Not cool!

Our firm purchased ArchiOffice in 2004. The transition at that time was very easy. As ArchiOffice has developed new features, we have had great success utilizing them. Our main goal in the purchase was time slips, expense slips, invoicing, and creating a data base for historic data. The contacts, documents, and calendar was a bonus. We currently use ArchiOffice 2013. There has been a bit of trouble shooting concerning the document integration however, we are working with AO staff to get a fix. All together our firm has been able to track time and expense on each project seamlessly. We know which employee is making us money and which we need to push for more production. I like AO and I enjoy working with their support staff. I just hope in the near future I won't have to talk to them as much.

Pros

We migrated to Core after using several other project and time management services over the past few years. Core is easy to navigate and train our staff how to accurately enter and track time for each project, expense tracking, resource allocation and overall integration with our Quickbooks software.

Cons

Core is one of the more expensive project and time management services we've used. But the lower priced competitors left us wanting.

This product has overall been sensational. It has improved the efficiency of our office tremendously. The trainers have been patient and very helpful. I did find that the training period was not long enough for me to understand all facets of the program, thus getting the full benefit from using it. There are still aspects of the program that I do not know how to fully utilize.

Pros

The user interface is intuitive and well designed. Personalized dashboards are great. Flexibility of project setup allows for a variety of project types. Good analytics.

Cons

No API, doesn't link to payroll software, is buggy, transition from an existing accounting system is painful. Setup requires the client formatting dozens of excel templates. Be prepared to spends 200+ hours if transitioning from an existing system.

Even though we are a very small law firm (two attorneys), transitioning to BillQuick nevertheless saves us several hours weekly. Our time/expense tracking and billing is now streamlined and seamless. BillQuick allows us to reduce our administrative costs by significant gains in efficiency and (just as important) has vastly reduced the amount of manual date entry, making for much happier, more productive administrative staff. Technical support during our set up was excellent, and very prompt. Being such a small firm, we certainly don't have in house IT support. When I needed help making the BillQuick database accessible over our three networked computers, tech support steered me to exactly the solution I needed, and provided clear, step by step instructions that guided me through the process to successful installation.

Cons

I truly do not have anything negative to say about my experience with the software or with the company.

### "Quick and Easy"

BillQuick was new to me when I started with the company and there wasn't time to train me on the software. Within an hour of jumping in and working with the software, I had the basic idea of where everything was and how to do what I needed to accomplish. Much of my work is done with BillQuick but it is so easy and efficient it gives me time to do the tasks I put on the back burner for downtime. The few times I have needed to call in for support, the agents are always friendly and helpful, they know what they are talking about.

Pros

ArchiOffice was created by architects, for architects. They understand how we manage projects, budget time, and invoice. Their pricing structure is also very affordable now, reflecting the struggles many architectural firms have experienced since the 2008 downturn. Lastly, I love that it interfaces with Quickbooks.

Cons

Past versions of ArchiOffice were prone to fairly regular hiccups that required tech support. The newest version appears much more stable and user-friendly. Some of the user interfaces (where you find buttons, and how certain tasks are performed) are not the most intuitive.

I have used this software for many years (twenty) and have been very satisfied with it. It is easy for me to use and I have been able to adjust to the downsizing of our company which we have encountered over the years, Billquick is still the program I use to do all the invoicing and record keeping for all projects. While I am definitely sure I do not avail myself of all the bells and whistles that Billquick offers I feel that that is what good software should do - be able to accommodate needs of all size users.

Good service before the purchase, after they want to make a dollar for every single question.

Cons

Very difficult to implement without paying the training. It is not intuitive. The client support is very poor.
