The software handles our timesheets and invoicing which is primarily how we utilize it. The software has all kinds of reports we utilize to monitor the health of our projects. It is a wonderful tool to help organize our projects and have a database for everything. We are very happy with it and more happy with the support we receive when we have questions. The program is powerful and flexible. Using the program is easy to learn, however, some features within the program are not intuitive. It is great for keeping track of project job costing, time-billing, and accounting across the board. It has endless customizable features and is fairly easy to learn and use. Cons This is a pretty pricey application, but also one of the more affordable ones in its niche. Producing high quality invoices has become one of the easiest thing with this. It is an excellent product that meets all of our billing needs. It works well for the needs of our business. My other account executive has been using this as well for about years and it is just very convenient and user friendly. Pros I like that it is really easy to use and understand. It was a relatively seamless transition for our team to do time keeping and it gives us a great overview! I called BQE and was lucky enough to speak to a rep. My Rep helped me over and over. He went way above and beyond what anyone could have or should have expected of him. Construction Used the software for: ### "Hoping to see great results with BQE in A/E billing and reporting" September 4, 2014 3.0 Pros BQE offers a wide range of add-on products that may be valuable depending on a company's sector and size. Also, sales promotions appear almost monthly. Cons Although BQE promoted a new monthly subscription for small companies, we found out at the last minute that the fine print states the subscription has to be paid up front annually. We suggest starting with one and testing it like we are doing this month. If all works well, we can add other employees for timesheet and expense entry. Review Source EH Elizabeth H. Pros Denise in Customer Service is excellent. I have to call in not infrequently, and she always handles my issue quickly and nicely. Cons It's got issues as far as using it for accounting purposes. Cons Do not get custom reports. Without Custom Reports you are left with their standard templates, and I was quoted 5-7 business days for the work turnaround. We provided detailed templates of exactly what we wanted and it has been over three months of reviewing and editing. Now everything we need to track is in ArchiOffice, and it's very simple to tell what's going on with our projects and our billing. Finding what we need to find is easy--the document management system is very smart. The information is presented clearly with color coded graphs that are always up to date. I don't know how we got by using Excel--we capture more of our billable hours and reimbursables now, so we're actually making more after investing in ArchiOffice than before! As a new user this past month I find it user friendly for the most part as I taught myself the basic functions in 2-3 days. There are some reports that are not available that would be helpful to have. Technical support line/technicians are very nice and super helpful, and very patient with this new user! Our sales representative, has followed us through the entire process to make certain that we received the proper amount of training and instructed on where to go to when we had questions regarding their software. The Technical Support Department does a great job of providing you with detail answers to your questions while you are on the phone with them. Love that person-to-person experience. It has a very easy learning curve and integrates extremely well with QuickBooks. Customer service has always been very helpful and knowledgeable.
