Used the software for: ### "It just works!" October 5, 2016 5.0 I use itemize set up with my email address. For large or important purchases, I find it valuable to be able to store an image of reciepts that I may need to access later. It is easy to scan a store purchase and the Itemize app automatically reads the information and records the amounts and store info. Just take a picture and the app does the rest. I am often amazed that a new receipt just shows up, and I am notified! If I make an online purchase or have a receipt emailed to me then it just works. No scanning or action needed, it just happens. I am sure there are more things this app could do, but I cannot think of anything I would need from this exceptional receipt recording app. I have not contacted support. No need to. You can easily export the reports as back up as well. Cons It does not work with my accounting software very well. I'm a Realtor and have to keep up with hundreds of receipts each year for taxes and was getting overwhelmed. This app is fabulous. At first the receipt photos looked blurry but that has been corrected so this is all I use now. If I pay fees or something online, I just take a photo of the iPad screen with the app I I don't have to print a receipt out so it's saving trees too! The reports are great at tax time. I only wish there was a quicker way to select the time frame you want in your report but other than that, it's great. I highly recommend this app for people like me with a business that requires keeping up with so much stuff for deductions. It will really lighten your load. November 29, 2019 4.0 Sometimes you just buy a lot of things thinking you get a great deal, but afterwards you know it wasn't the case, you just wasted a lot of money without realizing, itemize will let you know how much have you been using and on what exactly, if you are trying to cut expenses, this is a nice app. Pros Itemize it's a great way to know what are you paying for and if the price is good or not, or maybe you just want to get data of all the money you are using on what you buy. All you have to do is take a photo of a receipt, and you will get all the info for all the items on it. Pretty cool, huh? Cons It takes a little while to load the data of the items, maybe between 10 and 30 seconds. I think it could be faster. I can just snap a picture of my paper receipt, and in less than 30 seconds all the important expense info has been accurately captured. Did I mention, I only had to snap a photo? No manual entry! Has been great in helping me track monthly spend and keeping all paper and digital documents in one place. I finally feel organized! October 27, 2016 5.0 I use Itemize for my business trips! I love it. Its been a great tool and super easy to use. The only thing I would change is the option to take pictures in a landscape function. Some receipts have two pieces and it can be difficult to get a good picture that is clear in a portrait orientation. Pros Easy to use and so many different options to print out reports Cons Can't take a clear picture if I need to take one of a two receipts side by side. In cases where you need to show the receipt containing food items as well as the signed receipt including a tip.... I think if you had an option for Landscape orientation, you can do that. It has a good OCRecognition where most of the receipts is well identified. Cons Sometimes it does not save the info you input, then later you find multiple entries; I use it with 3 different currencies and countries, it would be great to keep the last input as default and to have some favorites Countries, Currencies as first options. It even categorizes the type of expense for me. It has even saved me money and trouble from lost receipts. Pros I like that it captures the info from the receipt. I like that it is backed up on the web so my info can't be lost. Cons The screen where you add tip amount is funky because when the number pad comes up to enter the tip amount, it COVERS the save button. There is no way to save & exit. So goofy.
