Able to filter receipts by store so can get to what I need to easily. Helps me keep paper clutter at a minimum. Only reason some categories not five stars is they could have better automatic email receipt upload function and it doesn't recognize negative numbers in return or credit receipts. I use itemize for literally everything when it comes to my expenses and I'm very happy that I do not have to carry a bunch of receipts in a folder or figure out what category what my deductions belong to when itemize does that for me. The ability to take pictures of receipts was useful when it worked. Cons your service was terrible- I signed for a 1 year and wanted to cancel for remainder of the year and i could not. I wanted to cancel because the software was not useful or valuable tool at all. I ended up paying for something I did not use. That was sheer nonsense. Used the software for: ### "Business Saver" November 16, 2016 4.0 I am an independent Cinematographer who travels quite often around the country and I use Itemize to keep up with all of my expenses instead of keeping all my receipts in my pockets as I travel. Itemize make life so much easier because I can immediately take a photo of any receipt as I get it and do it sometimes before I even get the item I just paid for. Pros it really is as easy as 1.2.3. you just take a photo of the receipts and it inputs all the data for you allowing you to track your expense reports without having to do the work yourself. Cons longer receipts can be a pain to get to scan, and the app does freeze up and close on it's own every so often causing slightly more work. Review Source KL Ken L. Pros It recognizes where you are most of the time. It helps me keep all the paper straight and makes sure I get reimbursed. Cons When it doesn't recognize the place I just got the receipt from. All of them either were very hard to use or very expensive. Itemize had a good interface. I actually emailed them once i was chatting with their IT Director next day. All merchants should be recognized in our system, some very small companies have not made their way into our database yet, but we have a very large database of known merchants that increase daily. It helps me organize my expenses and assists me in getting them ready for submittal to corporate accounting in a quick and easy fashion. I honestly can't think of one thing that id change other than extend the functionality to allow me to create my own custom transaction report so I can model it on my own company report.
