Even though we were using Cemex for sometime ago, it came handy when it starts WFH. Cemex makes it is for us to track our working time, leave easily. Specially when working from home, this helps to track your subordinates information as well.

Pros

Attendance, work time calculation was really helpful in understanding my work time and also considering work life balance. Also we can easily identify our leave balance, absent days like things. This is a very user friendly application and its UI also gives pleasant look.

Cons

Sometimes I have been facing issues when logging time and even though times are approved still shows as I was absent the day. Also sometimes I see a delay in updating things. These are the issues which I have faced so far and I believe those things can be fixed

Overall, it is an awesome cloud based system with ease of use and cost effective... Effortless reports could be obtained for analysis and improve the productivity, efficiency of the HR Div. and a well disciplined Organization unlikely downloading of attendance reports and getting each of the staff who have not fingerprinted (In / Out or both), and getting staff to apply leave and follow up, prior manually collecting of data in order to prepare the payroll... With this system in place, the HR div. as well as the management would have more time to focus on planning and implementation of the well-being of the staff...

Pros

The following modules are a key to our organization... o Time & Attendance – Improved overall attendance as same could be monitored on a daily basis and no employee could purposely do away without punching in / out due to late attendance / early departure without prior approval. Furthermore, could even monitors missing attendance and for staff that are officially on the field, enables the staff to mark their in/out via the mobile app pinpointing the visited location with the combination of the GPS technology being used in smartphones... o Leave Management – All employees are able to login to their individual accounts via any internet enabled Desktop PC or Smartphone and apply leave or approve leave of subordinates... o Processing of Payroll – This is no longer a nightmare... Once, the rosters, leave, Time and Attendance, overtime are in place, it is easy as ABC to process the payroll... The system will automatically do the necessary deductions (if any) and include whatever reimbursements (if any) to the respective employee(s)...

Cons

o Out of Office – This module is used by field officers to mark their attendance whenever official visits are made together with the GPS technology in order to mark the visited location which is good... However, when marking the attendance at the given location, the app requires you to enter the in time and date as well as the out time and date, meaning you need to input all this at the beginning of the visit or at the end of the job... This way the field officers could mislead the management by stating a different time and date convenient to them where the total idea / intention of implementing such a tracking system is lost... My suggestion would be to let the server mark the "in" time together with the date and location, and once the job is completed the server to mark the "out" time together with the date and location at a touch of a button (of course have the remarks line on as present in order to input the job details...) which will be more meaningful and no confusion between the management and staff...

Pros

Very user friendly and covers a wide range of options that you would require. Well though out and detailed.

Cons

Some processes could have improvement with its flow/continuity. Nothing major but I am sure that with the ever developing software these will be improved.
