Because of the automated reminders that send an email, I am no longer concerned with missing the expiration date. In addition to sending me reminders of upcoming expirations, the system allows me to recall what agreements were made by vendors three years prior and avoid making guesses about what we agreed upon.

Pros

To be honest I had no idea the contracts would be stored and I could access them, because normally they are a complete disaster. I attached it to google drive and it did not blow anything up. It does not try to be something I do not want it to be.

Cons

One thing I really dislike is I can’t just drag and drop files to transfer them, it makes no sense to me why I would have to take extra steps when I am already in a rush. Another thing I do not like is I cannot perform mathematical operations between fields (ie convert currency for reporting). When I have a lot of documents to work with it takes forever to process and the site freezes whenever I try to quickly navigate through multiple items.

Now I don’t have to waste half of my time searching the world for one piece of paper. It keeps the amount of work from becoming overwhelming during times when we have a large number of renewal contracts due at the same time. I am now able to inform the vendors regarding their renewal status without having to attempt to recall the details and look like an idiot.

Pros

It is surprising that I was able to connect to google drive and it didn’t crash. Although my desk is covered in old sticky notes and cold coffee, at least all of the vendor contracts are located in one place now. I am able to locate the old contracts when I am required to complete contract reviews and I no longer have to search the entire office. The calendar reminders for the renewal dates also appear in my email inbox so far I have not missed a renewal date thank goodness. It is okay for our needs since it does not have hundreds of additional confusing buttons that I will never click.

Cons

Sometimes the AI is pretty dumb and believes that a contract terminates as soon as it is signed which is ridiculous and has caused me to correct this manually. I am unable to drag and drop files to relocate them so I’m clicking like crazy. Occasionally the site freezes when I’ve opened too many browser tabs and it gives me a headache.

Right now, I’m sitting in this cold, broken air conditioning office but at least I’m able to avoid manually routing every single piece of paper. It has made compliance easier, although setting it all up was a nightmare.

Pros

E-signatures are sent directly to whoever they need to go to instead of sending me around the office looking for someone to sign in person. I also found that the urgent document notifications actually make it into my inbox and aren’t always being flagged as spam. All of my papers are stored in one place so I won’t lose track of the chaos.

Cons

It’s very slow uploading large files and most of the time I’m just watching the loading symbol spinning on my computer while I wait for something to happen. My password gets requested by the log in screen constantly and it’s extremely frustrating entering it every ten minutes. Searching for an old contract, however, is extremely painful because the search bar does little to nothing and almost never locates anything I want to find. Automation eliminates the cluttered email trail that fills my inbox and creates a headache for me.

We were previously emailing Word Docs back and forth and lost track of versions all the time. With this program I can now see the redlines in one place which helps me avoid errors. I need to go get lunch soon, the cafeteria is going to be closed. This program prevents our sales guys from using outdated templates that are legally incorrect and prevent us from getting in trouble.

Pros

Honestly I'm happy the Salesforce integration works as expected, it does not crash when pulling the data; it's very good at handling the hundreds of NDAs we receive; it saves me time by not having to chase people for their signature on an ongoing basis (every ten minutes) - nice to know who is holding things up without sending five e-mails.

Cons

I hate searching for files; specifically the search bar, if you do not put quote marks, it will act stupid and cannot find the file. They keep changing the layout and moving buttons, I got tired of that after getting use to the old way of doing things. Training new employees is difficult because no body want's to view the Academy videos. The support team is acceptable however they sometime just lead you in circles until they fix the issue.

Hunting down wet signatures and having to mail paper envelopes is now gone and this has been a godsend for my desk space. Eliminating the errors that occurred when clients would create their own contracts is great. I also no longer have to send multiple follow up emails to approvers due to the notifications. All of the documents are stored in one place therefore I am less likely to go crazy searching for documents.

Pros

The electronic signing has been working well as clients have been signing timely which is an enormous help because I never liked sending reminders to clients. I thought the mobile app would be crashing during a visit to the doctor's office last week but that did not occur. All the document versions are being kept straight therefore I do not have to dig through several different email threads to locate the correct pdf.

Cons

The loading of documents takes forever, especially if the document is large. Creating the workflows was extremely difficult and took far too much time. I still am unsure about how the workflow logic works. When I uploaded a word document the spaces between the words got all messed up and the signature lines do not line up with the text that is entered into the document and the contract looked like a disaster to the client.

It provides me with a secure repository and automatic alerts that prevent the risk of financial losses, resulting in significant time saving.

Pros

The main benefit is the time saved thanks to smart tagging and its powerful search capabilities. Furthermore, its ability to set automatic alerts is invaluable

Cons

My only complaint is that it offers very limited customization in workflow management. It´s functional, but not highly flexible.

It allows us to create templates, which will help keep the sales people from messing up the standard contract terms.

Pros

With my mouse clicker sticking today, the fact that I do not need to click on something 1000 times to upload an item is great. It is really a combination of Google Docs and electronic signature services, I was somewhat shocked that there wasn’t a hidden cap on the number of signatures available through the unlimited signatures service.

Cons

It can some times really make a mess of the formatting when posted. There is no native system spellchecker.

When you use ContractWorks, all of that is in one place and you no longer have to sift through your file shares finding the right version, no longer wonder if this has been signed or deals are being honored. It makes my team more in sync and reduces the time we have to spend on audits.

Pros

It does make my day to day contracting work easier, and I store agreements there, set reminders etc. It keeps all of the havoc back so I don’t waste time searching every hour to find any document. Also searching and tagging is easy so I don't have to be afraid of where my documents are.

Cons

I had a bit of trouble with the set up at first but after some trial and error it went smoothly. But I want the reporting to be more flexible, in some cases I need to filter data manually and the interface has to improve for bulk edit.

It has been an ideal, powerful and highly effective tool for repository management and risk mitigation. IT has transformed our database, offering significant advantages and proving to be a worthwhile investmnet.

Pros

I liked its AI-powered search engine and intuitive interface. This feature is unique, unlike other CLMs that seem to require a full IT team for implementation. I also like its proactive renewal alert system.

Cons

I believe there are many limitations in the creation module and in its capacity for the pre-execution phase.
