Cons It did not allow me to block certain dates to prevent employees from requesting vacation during peak work periods, but it did allow them to request sick leave, which is not something that can be controlled. Pros Booking a holiday takes just a few clicks, and the entire company has a real-time overview of who is absent and when. Cons I have reservations about the configuration of holiday limits. In my opinion, this area is not very intuitive and quite complicated, especially with more complex rules (e.g. different types of contracts, proportional calculation, transfer of unused days). My organization couldn’t afford their competitors, so Calamari met a need. My life is far simplified and my employees are happier thanks to Calamari. Pros The quality of Calamari is great, while being far less expensive than its competitors. My employees have had little trouble getting set up. Their customer service is also HIGHLY responsive and helpful. Cons The UI is not perfect. For time off tracking it is sufficient, but for time tracking it is tricky to figure out. I only have one employee who even might have used it, so we opted not to pay for that feature.
