Pros

We have gained terrific and attentive service from their team. The product does what it needs to do and they have it applied the personal service we need to have success with all the different variables for which we need to account.

Cons

At this time, I don't have a particular point on which to focus. We have been using this service for some time and have seen it continue to improve such that there are not any points that immediately come to mind as my liking least.

The support staff at were extremely helpful in assisting with the set-up of our leave system. We did a trial period before we continued with Calamari and their support staff were always and ready to assist with any query. Now that we have subscribed to Calamari, their support staff are still as diligent and helpful as in the beginning, which has been really nice. They also continue to troubleshoot problems and try and find effective ways to deal with these issues.

Pros

As we have staff based in China and staff based in South Africa, it was important for us to find a leave system that worked for all staff across the board taking their different holidays and work days into consideration. Staff can now apply for leave and manage this directly, instead of having to ask someone in South Africa to do it.

Cons

Some of the functions we had during the trial period disappeared as different sections in the Leave Management Sections are paid for individually. It would have been nice if the subscription price could include all the available sections in the Leave Management system at a lowered rate and then have the sections available for those who wanted them individually.

Pros

I liked the perfectly crispy coating combined with the tender, juicy texture inside. The freshness of the ingredients was noticeable in every bite. The presentation was also very appealing and well thought out. Additionally, the dipping sauce complemented the flavor perfectly.

Cons

The portion size felt a bit small for the price. Some pieces were slightly overcooked, making them a bit chewy. The seasoning could have been more balanced, as it was slightly too salty. Additionally, the waiting time for the dish was longer than expected.

The experience has been good overall. When we have needed technical assistance, the team has been helpful.

Pros

It is easy to use. Our employees say that it is not difficult to go in to clock in and out, or to add sick days.

Cons

It is not easy on the administrator side to add an employee's total vacation days for the entire year.

My overall experience with has been very positive. The system is clear, easy to use, and well-designed, which makes daily tasks much simpler. I also really appreciate the responsive support team that’s always ready to help whenever needed.

Pros

What I liked most about is its clarity and transparency, as well as the clean, intuitive interface. I also appreciate the quick response and support whenever any issues arise.

Cons

It’s hard to say, because compared to other systems I’ve used before, is by far the best. If I had to point out something, maybe there are quite a lot of rules and configurations, which I don’t always manage to handle on my own - but luckily, the team is always quick to help.

We switched to this platform mainly because the previous one was not very intuitive - employees often complained about usability issues, there were many errors, and it was impossible to configure things independently. I am very satisfied. We tested various modules one by one and are currently using all of them. The platform is easy to use, can be managed according to the company's needs, and additional licenses can be purchased and data updated quickly. Another advantage is its integration with other systems.

I really liked. It's effective and efficient for our team. We are a small team, so I think it does the job really well.

Pros

How convenient it is for PTO requests. I'm able to see all the employees request and that way I can choose days that don't overlap.

Cons

I can't switch from different accounts without signing out. As an admin but also an employer that has to put in her requests, this would make my work more convenient.

We have been using Calamaria in our company for quite some time now and we are very satisfied. The system is intuitive, transparent and significantly improves absence management — both for employees and the HR department.

Pros

Booking a holiday takes just a few clicks, and the entire company has a real-time overview of who is absent and when.

Cons

I have reservations about the configuration of holiday limits. In my opinion, this area is not very intuitive and quite complicated, especially with more complex rules (e.g. different types of contracts, proportional calculation, transfer of unused days). It requires a lot of testing and careful checking of settings to ensure that everything works correctly.

I wasn't impressed when they moved the emergency contact info behind the Core HR paywall, surely we could have kept that one field?

We are a small (but growing) business. is a great value, easy to use, and makes tracking PTO simple.

Cons

I'd love to see a calculation that shows you how much you will accrue through the end of year. The way it is now makes you have to add up what's been used to plan out throughout the year.

can be a little overwhelming at first (especially with no HR background), but once you got the hang of it it's a great tool. We use it for our business all the time. Had to ask the helpdesk some questions at several points in time and was helped really well (big ups to \[sensitive content hidden\]!)

the reactivity of team when we send a request by email; they are very helpful, and i love the videos they send to explain how to proceed; very practical
