We switched to Calamari about five years ago and I have never considered leaving. It is that simple to track time-off now.

Pros

It is easy to track time off, from request thru approval. No more manual tracking of this type of thing.

Cons

Initial set up can be a little confusing, but the support at Calamari is there to help with any needs.

Overall, Calamari has been a great system to use. I would recommend it to anyone looking to track company PTO.

Pros

We are a small (but growing) business. Calamari is a great value, easy to use, and makes tracking PTO simple.

Cons

I'd love to see a calculation that shows you how much you will accrue through the end of year. The way it is now makes you have to add up what's been used to plan out throughout the year.

We've been using Calamari for about 5 years and are delighted with it. Easy to use and deep enough features when you dig down. Great value for money.

Pros

Ease of use - super quick to get started and up and running. We use Calamari for leave and working hours tracking and have done for 5 years. It's perfect for our needs.

Cons

I wasn't impressed when they moved the emergency contact info behind the Core HR paywall, surely we could have kept that one field?

Pros

I am using the Team Management feature. Calamari excels in managing time-off requests, approvals, and tracking. The automated notifications and calendar integrations reduce manual work significantly.

Cons

Pricing is fair for small to mid-sized teams, but larger organizations might find the cost high relative to the feature set.

Switching to Calamari was one of the best decisions we made this year. We used to manage time off in spreadsheets, which was chaotic and error-prone. Now everything is centralized, transparent, and automated. Our team loves how easy it is to check their leave balance or request time off. I love how much time I save on approvals and reporting. The modular pricing also means we only pay for what we need. Highly recommended for any growing company.

Pros

The implementation was surprisingly quick – we were up and running in just a few days. The Slack integration is a game-changer for our remote team; people can request time off without leaving their workflow. The interface is clean and intuitive, so we didn't need to spend time training employees. Plus, the support team is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we have questions.

Cons

Honestly, we haven't encountered any major issues. At first, I wished there were more customization options for reports, but the team actually added some of those features based on feedback.

Overall, Calamari is simple, intuitive, and saves me a lot of time dealing with leave requests or checking my hours. It makes organizing work much easier for both employees and managers, especially in remote and hybrid teams.

Pros

Calamari is very convenient and easy to use. I like that it integrates smoothly with popular tools like Slack and Google Workspace, and its time-off and attendance tracking are very clear and flexible.

Cons

Sometimes the app loads slowly or syncing can take a bit longer when too many people use it at once. Also, a few advanced features may need more tutorials for new users.

It has been a good tool for the money, covering many of the HR necessities our small company needed without the need for a professional overseeing it.

Pros

It has a neat interface and an easy-going operation across all its sections. It also covers a significant part of our HR needs, such as time tracking and holiday management.

Cons

The billing process from them is a bit confusing, as is the determination/visualization of the holiday calendar.
